1.0 	Prerequisites

DB2 Table Editor V4.3 Fix Pack 5 is required in order to use Interim Fix 3 (20041006).


2.0	Problem Description

Interim Fix 3 (20041006) solves the following problem: 

APAR PQ94798: 
 - DB2 Table Editor displays SQLCODE 100 when updating a value that has single quotes.


3.0	Installation Instructions

1.  Navigate to the DB2 Table Editor installation directory 
    (The default installation directory is: C:\program files\IBM\DB2 Table Editor)
2.  Rename dbeuser.exe to dbeuser_old.exe
3.  Copy dbeuser_new.exe from TE435_20041006.zip into the installation directory.
4.  Rename dbeuser_new.exe to dbeuser.exe
5.  Run DB2 Table Editor


4.0	Back out Instructions

1. Navigate to the installation directory
   (The default installation directory is: C:\program files\IBM\DB2 Table Editor)
2. Rename dbeuser.exe to dbeuser_new.exe
3. Rename dbeuser_old.exe to dbeuser.exe
4. Run DB2 Table Editor.
