1.0 	Prerequisites

DB2 Table Editor V4.3 Fix Pack 4 is required in order to use 20031121.


2.0	Problem Description

20031121 solves the following problems:

- You can now use the DB2 Table Editor Java Player component to update DBCS 
(double byte character set) CHARACTER  data using DB2 UDB V8.1 Fix Pack 3 or above.
- Button labels now appear properly when opening a .fse form that was saved in the 
  DB2 Table Editor User application.
- Buttons now appear properly in the DB2 Table Editor Java Player component when 
  opening forms that were created in the DB2 Table Editor User application.
- Buttons now work properly in the DB2 Table Editor Java Player component when opening 
  forms that were created in the DB2 Table Editor Developer application.
- Button actions in forms that were created in English now work properly in non-English languages.
- The DB2 Table Editor Java Player now opens forms that have no primary table that were 
  created in the DB2 Table Editor Developer component.
- In the DB2 Table Editor Developer component, the run button now functions properly 
  when used to run a form in the Japanese version of DB2 Table Editor.


3.0	Installation Instructions

1.  Navigate to the DB2 Table Editor installation directory 
    (The default installation directory is: C:\program files\IBM\DB2 Table Editor)
2.  Rename db2forms.jar to db2forms_old.jar
3.  Rename dbeuser.exe to dbeuser_old.exe
4.  Rename dbe.exe to dbe_old.exe
5.  Copy db2forms_new.jar (from TE433_20031121.zip) into the installation directory
6.  Copy dbeuser_new.exe (from TE434_20031121.zip) into the installation directory
7.  Copy dbe_new.exe (from TE434_20031121.zip) into the installation directory
8.  Rename db2forms_new.jar to db2forms.jar
9.  Rename dbeuser_new.exe to dbeuser.exe
10. Rename dbe_new.exe to dbe.exe
11. If you have deployed DB2 Table Editor Java Player as an applet on a Web server
    at a location other than the location where you initially installed DB2 Table Editor,
    repeat steps 1, 2, 5, and 8 for all additional deployments.
12.  Run DB2 Table Editor


4.0	Back out Instructions

1. Navigate to the installation directory
   (The default installation directory is: C:\program files\IBM\DB2 Table Editor)
2. Rename db2forms.jar to db2forms_new.jar
3. Rename dbeuser.exe to dbeuser_new.exe
4. Rename dbe.exe to dbe_new.exe
5. Rename db2forms_old.jar to db2forms.jar
6. Rename dbeuser_old.exe to dbeuser.exe
7. Rename dbe_old.exe to dbe.exe
8. If you have deployed DB2 Table Editor Java Player as an applet on a Web server
   at a location other than the location where you initially installed DB2 Table Editor,
   repeat steps 1, 2, and 5 for all additional deployments.
