When QMF displays a report, you see the result of interaction between the form and data objects in temporary storage. A report object does not exist in temporary storage. When you export a report, QMF is really exporting the interaction of a form and a data object. A report cannot be saved in the database, and an exported report cannot be imported back to QMF.
