Use Case Features
- A use case represents a discrete unit of interaction between a user and the system.
- A use case is a basis for communication between end-users and system developers.
Basic Order Paths and Flows
The Placing an Order use case is the main use case of SimpleOrder. It has three distinct flows:
Basic Flow, Alternate Flow 1, and Alternate Flow 2.
- In the basic flow, the actor places the order via the Change Existing path.
- In the alternate flow 1, the actor places the order via the New path.
- In the alternate flow 2, the actor places the order via the Move path.

Template
- A typical SimpleOrderTM use case template consists of these sections: Release Info, Business event, Actor(s), Use Case Overview, Pre-conditions, post-conditions, Flow Name - Flow Description, Traceability To, Use Case Notes, Related Use Cases, and Use Case Questions.
