Introduction

In the previous topic, you learned about the steps in the Order Process. In this topic, we will look at the different functions that can be performed in SimpleOrder.

  1. New
  2. Change Existing
  3. Move

Each of these can be explained through three different scenarios.

  1. A customer calls in with a query about a TELCO product. This customer does not have a account with the company, but is interested in some of the company’s products or services. The CSR can first record the customer details, and then provide the details of the product.
  2. An existing customer calls up to say he is interested in a new service. The CSR can look up the customer details already existing in the system, and then provide details on the product.
  3. An existing customer calls up to say she is moving to a different location. The CSR checks if the customer’s existing set of products will work in the new location, and if not, would recommend a different set of products,
