Placing an Order: The First Alternate Flow
In the previous screens, you looked at the basic flow of the Placing an Order use case. Let’s now look at its alternate flows.
Here’s the typical flow of the Placing an Order use case via the New path:
- The actor places an order using the New path.
- The system qualifies the offering.
- The system selects and configures the product.
- The system determines if credit check is required.
- The system updates the customer account information.
- The system determines if shipping information is required.
- The system presents the order summary information.
- The actor selects to suppress the wireline portion of the order.
- The actor submits the order.
- The system presents the confirmation of the order.
