1.0 	Prerequisites

DB2 Performance Expert V2.2 Fix Pack 1 is required in order to use Interim Fix 10.

2.0	Problem Description

Interim Fix 10 solves the following problem:

THE PE CLIENT CAN NOT COMMUNICATE WITH A MP PE SERVER.

Performance Expert Client installation on Windows system, where two or more DB2 editions
are simultaneously installed, does not recognize necessary DB2 edition and does not configure paths
to DB2 JDBC and other drivers. 

Possible manifestation:

Registering a new DB2 system in Performance Expert Client, "DB2 on Multiplatforms"
radio button is dimmed.

Logging in to already registered DB2 system on multiplatforms, the following
error message can appear:
        DB2 Performance Expert - System Overview
	DGOK1454
	To perform this function a JDBC driver is needed.


3.0	Installation Instructions

3.1. Close all running instances of Performance Expert Client on your workstation.

3.2. Deinstall currently installed Performance Expert Client.

3.3. Extract the content of the db2pe22010_win.zip file using WINZIP
or any unzip utility of your choice.

Contents:
'db2pe.client.v2.2.0.1.install-on-win.exe'

3.4. Start the extracted installation instead of the original one
you received on CD or downloaded from WEB and install Performance Expert Client.

3.5. Start Performance Expert Client.
