If you are just getting started with administration and have not yet created
any objects, follow these steps to set up synchronization:
Procedure
- Think about the ¸ðºô »ç¿ëÀÚ within your organization
and plan their synchronization needs. What data do they need to access? What
applications do they use? The answers to questions like these help you determine
how many synchronization groups you need and which users will be associated
with each group. This step is explained in 1.
- Within the °ü¸®ÀÚ, create groups according to your plan in step 1.
See Creating a data synchronization group for more information
about creating groups.
- Create and assign users to each group in one of two ways:
- Define replication subscriptions for each table and file
that the members of the group need to access. See Creating a data synchronization group for
more information.
- To allow a group to access the tables and files that they need, create
one or more subscription sets that reference the subscriptions that you created
in step 4. See Enabling groups to access their data and files for more
information.
