Using a Remote Access Service

After the DB2 Everyplace Sync Server is running, you must configure a mobile device to communicate with the server. The DB2 Everyplace Sync Server uses TCP/IP to communicate with mobile devices. Most devices support TCP/IP connections using modems, wireless LAN (802.11b), or ethernet interfaces. This task is part of the greater task of Setting up Synchronization.
