A vulnerability was found in IEHS that can permit a local user to exploit and gain escalated privilege. *************************************************************************** 2. Known issues: ================= None *************************************************************************** 3. Prerequisites: ================= IBM InfoSphere Identity Insight Version 8.0.0 fix pack 2 with the Information Center installed. ******************************************************************************** 4. Implementation steps ======================= For AIX: ------------ To apply the hotfix, please do the following: 1. Copy the required files to your hard drive. 2. Stop the pipelines. 3. Stop the IBM Relationship Resolution application by running the StopEAS script. 4. Delete the contents of the \ibm_help\ directory and all subdirectories. 5. Uncompress the contents of the rrv4r2fp2_aix64_iehsfix.tar file to a temporary directory. 6. Copy the contents of the temporary directory to \ibm_help\ . 7. Start the EWAS application by running the StartEAS script. 8. Start the pipeline. For Linux (x86, 64-bit) (and Solaris for sparc, Solaris for xSeries, HPUXm and Linux for zSeries): -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To apply the hotfix, please do the following: 1. Copy the required files to your hard drive. 2. Stop the pipelines. 3. Stop the IBM Relationship Resolution application by running the StopEAS script. 4. Stop the IBM Relationship Resolution application by running the StopEAS script. 4. Make a backup of the \ibm_help\start.bat file. 5. Delete the contents of the \ibm_help\ directory and all subdirectories. 7. Uncompress the contents of the rrv4r2fp2_nm_win_iehsfix.zip file to a temporary directory. 8. Copy the contents of the temporary directory to \ibm_help\ . 9. Copy the backup of your start.bat file from Step 3 to \ibm_help\ . 10. Start the EWAS application by running the StartEAS script. 11.
