Configuring IBM Enterprise Records system

IBM® Enterprise Records configuration items consist of several system-wide settings and preferences:

Task Description

Configuring auditing

Configure one or more classes for auditing specific events, such as when an entity is created, moved, or destroyed.

Configuring autodeclaration of records

Configure autodeclaration of records to ensure that when a user creates or checks in a document in a Records Object Store (ROS), IBM Enterprise Records automatically creates a corresponding record in the specified File Plan Object Store (FPOS).

Configuring a default record type

Configure a record type as the default for all records declared for a specific record class.

Configuring displaying record type metadata during declaration

Configure the record type metadata to display in Workplace, allowing a user to select a record type when declaring a record.
