IBM Enterprise Records and Content Federation Services

Even though Content Federation Services is not a component of IBM® Enterprise Records, to use a records management solution with Content Federation Services, you must configure your IBM Enterprise Records and Content Federation Services environment and determine the file plan and records management rules that are required to support your implementation.

Content Federation Services delivers the ability to actively manage content across the enterprise in multiple disparate repositories, including federated records management. For more information, see the related links at the end of this topic.

For general information about using Content Federation Services with IBM Enterprise Records: For information on how to use federated repositories for FileNet Image Services with IBM Enterprise Records, see the IBM FileNet Content Federation Services for Image Services Planning and Configuration Guide.
