Configuring the Screening workflow

By default, the application uses the Screening workflow when screening is configured for a disposal phase. As with other workflows from IBM® Enterprise Records, you can modify the Screening workflow. However, you can also create a new workflow with a different name and configure the new workflow to be the Screening workflow. In either case, IBM Enterprise Recordsalways launches the latest version of the Screening workflow.

For more information about working with workflows, see Create and modify workflows. If you choose to create a new workflow with a different name, then follow the steps below to configure the workflow as the Screening workflow. The procedure assumes you have already created and transferred the new workflow.

To configure the Screening workflow:

  1. Sign in to the IBM Enterprise Records application as Records Administrator.
  2. Select the Configure tab.
  3. Click System Configuration.
  4. The Configuration Items page displays. Click Screening Workflow.
  5. The Select Workflow page displays all of the transferred workflows in the object store. Click Select from Versions for the workflow you want to configure as the Screening workflow.
  6. The Select Workflow Version page displays all versions of the workflow. Click Select for the version you want to configure as the screening workflow.
  7. Click Apply to save the changes.
  8. Click Exit to cancel or close the Configuration Items page.
