The Configure Object Stores window
is displayed for you to be able to configure new object stores and
make upgrades to existing object stores. The Configure
Object Store link allows you to begin the wizard for the
object store you select.
This wizard is able to determine the
actions that are allowed and redirect accordingly. For more information
about the
Configure Object Store option, see
Selecting Object Store. This window let you accomplish the
following tasks:
- Browse the various object stores that the current user has full
administrative rights to. For new installs this includes object stores
with the current AddOn version installed. For upgrades this includes
object stores that have been fully upgraded (upgrade AddOn applied
and custom modification performed).
- Configure a new Object Store using the Configure Object
Store option. For information, see Installing add-on options.
- Upgrade an existing Object store using the Configure
Object Store option. For more information, see Upgrade object store.
- Use the Get Info icon next to the object
store name to display the configured object store info page. For more
information about the Get Info icon see Viewing and modifying entity properties through Information pages.
Important: From
the object store information page, you are able to use the Run Security
Script, Import Templates, and Include Classified Document options,
and add a File Plan Object Store (FPOS) to a Record Object Store (ROS)
using the Convert To FPOS and ROS option.
