Select the object store or folder where you want to start your search. Search looks in all subfolders of the selected object store or folder.
You can further narrow your search by selecting one or more search options. The search options are based on properties that are commonly used when searching for documents or folders.
Options and document types are shortcuts to commonly selected criteria, such as ownership ("Created by me") or modification date ("Added in the last month"), or document types, such as PDF documents. Selecting one or more options or document types limits the search results.
By default, the search function returns the most current version of a matching document, which could be a minor version. If you select Released, the search returns only the most current major version. If you select All, search returns all versions of a document.
You can add property restrictions to a search. You can search for documents created or modified by a particular user, and for documents containing your search text in the document name.
You can select a document to view or to perform various actions. You can view the available actions in the context menu. See Actions you can take for more information.
TIP To modify your search conditions and search again, use your browser's Back button to return to the previous page.
