You can configure IBM® Enterprise Records by using the command-line version of Configuration Manager.
You need to generate the configuration XML files that match your application server settings with respect to application server type and profile type. Edit the XML files to provide values for your environment. Then, apply the settings by executing the tasks from a command prompt.
You must generate, edit, and run a complete set of configuration XML to configure an IBM Enterprise Records application. If you are deploying multiple IBM Enterprise Records application instances on the same application server, you must generate, edit, and deploy a complete set of configuration files for each instance. Store the configuration files for each instance in a separate directory.
You can complete the configuration tasks by generating all the configuration XML files before editing, running, or verifying any of them.
