Searching and retrieving entities

Use the Search tab to search for a particular type of IBM® Enterprise Records entity: record categories, record folders, volumes, or records. Each type of search is customized for its entity type. Record categories, record folders, and volume search pages are almost identical. There are additional search options for records and classified records.

For details about specifying the search options for a classified record, see Defining and running a search.
To start a search:
  1. Select one of the entity types (Record Categories, Record Folders, Volumes, or Records) or select Search Templates and Stored Searches.
  2. Complete the search criteria. For information about the search criteria, see Defining and running a search.
