(WebSphere Application Server 6.1 only) Disable Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for RMI/IIOP

From your Content Engine server, you are able to disable Secure Socket layer (SSL) using the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console.

To disable the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for RMI/IIOP:
  1. On the Content Engine server, open the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.
  2. Click Security > Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure > RMI/IIOP Security > CSIv2 inbound authentication.
  3. Change Client certificate authentication from Supported to Never.
  4. Go to Security > Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure > RMI/IIOP Security > CSIv2 inbound transport.
  5. Change Transport from SSL-supported to TCP/IP.
  6. Go to Security > Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure > RMI/IIOP Security > CSIv2 outbound transport.
  7. Change Transport from SSL-supported to TCP/IP.
  8. Save the changes and restart the WebSphere Application Server.
