You can customize how and which columns display for each
object store on the Browse and Search page. Customizing columns must
be done on a per object store basis. You cannot globally customize
the columns for all object stores.
- To customize the columns, go to User Preferences by clicking Preferences,
then Object Stores. Select the object store
you want to customize.
- The Name column is the default folder or document name
in the first column. The Name preference identifies the property value
that appears in the first column of a detailed view in the application.
Define additional columns to display, configuring up to 25 properties.
- To add names, click the column drop-down lists. Some names
include words in parentheses separated by an asterisk, such as Content
Size * (Size). The label inside the parentheses is the name that displays
for the column.
- You can change the order of how the columns display. After
selecting the column names, click Reorder Properties.
When the list of column names displays, select one or more names,
then use the up and down arrows to reorder the names. Click Accept to
save the order.
- The new settings configured at the user preference level
apply only to the Workplace XT Browse and Search pages. The settings
override the Site Preference setting for the same object store.
