IBM Enterprise Records, Version 5.1.+

Edit Import Transfer Mapping/Add Import Transfer Mapping

When you are adding a new import transfer mapping object, you run a wizard and see several different windows. The Edit Import Transfer Mapping or Add Import Transfer Mapping window is the third step of the wizard when you are adding a new import transfer mapping object. If you choose a pre-existing transfer mapping object, you are immediately directed to this window.

Important: If you are editing an existing mapping object, the window name is Edit Import Transfer Mapping, but if you are adding a new transfer mapping object the window name is Add Import Transfer Mapping. Also, when importing folders and records into an object store, the new object store must have the same folders in place for the import to succeed.
This window displays all document classes under the Record and Record Folder categories. It has the following features:
Important: All of the Content Engine properties that you can map to are filtered so that only the appropriate properties are available.

Previous returns you to the Add Import Transfer Mapping window if you are adding a new mapping. This is only available when adding a new transfer mapping.

Finish creates a new transfer mapping. This is only available when adding a new transfer mapping.

Cancel returns you to the previous window with no changes made. This is only available when adding a new transfer mapping.

Apply temporarily make the changes you have made so far and allows you to remain on this window for additional changes. This is only available when editing a pre-existing transfer mapping.

Exit closes the wizard. This is only available when editing a pre-existing transfer mapping.
