The following Tasks user preferences customize
notifications for your task activities.
- General specifies email settings and the
language in which Process Engine email notifications are displayed.
(Process Engine must be configured for email notification.) Enter
the email address where you want to be notified of new or updated
task activities and Task step reminders. The Preferred
locale defaults to English.
- Step notification specifies whether to
notify you of steps in a workflow.
- New assignment determines if you receive
an email notice when a step is assigned to you.
- Expired step deadline determines whether
you receive an email notice when a step deadline has been passed without
completing the step.
- Reminders determines whether you receive
an email notice that a step deadline is approaching.
- Originator notification specifies whether
you, as the workflow originator, are notified when a milestone is
reached.
- Tracker notification specifies whether
to notify you about events for the workflows you are assigned to track.
- New tracker assignment specifies whether
to notify you when a new workflow is launched.
- Workflow deadline reminders specifies whether
to notify you about workflow deadline reminders.
- Workflow deadline expired specifies whether
to notify you about expired workflow deadlines.
- Workflow exception specifies whether to
notify you when a workflow exception occurs.
- Expired step deadline specifies whether
to notify you about expired step deadlines.
- Milestone reached specifies whether to
notify you when a milestone is reached in a workflow.
- Out of office specifies the person to receive
work routed to you when you are away from your office for an extended
time. Click Select User and enter the first
few characters of the name. Then click Search,
select the name, and click Accept. To clear
the name, click Clear User.
