Add a stamp annotation

The Stamp tool adds one of several supplied phrases to an image. For example, Approved, DRAFT, or today's date and time. The following examples show the "DRAFT" Stamp annotation drawn on an image. The second example shows the toolbar for the annotation.

Image Viewer does not wrap long text and does not display multiple lines for stamp annotations. We suggest that you use one of the other annotation types (text or sticky note) for long text.

The following stamp types are available with the Stamp tool:

<date> <time>
Adds the current date and time that the stamp was applied on the image.
Approved <user> <date>
Adds "Approved", the user name who added the stamp, and the date the stamp was added.
DRAFT
Adds "DRAFT" to the image.
Filed <date>
Adds "Filed" and the date that the stamp was added.
Received <date>
Adds "Received" and the date that the stamp was added.
Rejected
Adds "Rejected" to the image.
Reviewed <user><date>
Adds "Reviewed", the user name who added the stamp, and the date the stamp was added.
Urgent!
Adds "Urgent!" to the image.
