IBM Enterprise Records, Version 5.1.+

Running the IBM Enterprise Records Configuration Manager by using the graphical user interface

You use the graphical user interface version of Configuration Manager to configure profiles and their tasks, and to execute the tasks.

Follow the recommended order to edit and run the individual configuration tasks. You might not need to complete work on one configuration task before starting another. You can save your edits, switch between tasks, close tasks, and reopen tasks as needed. However, you must complete all of the tasks in a profile before you deploy the application.
Restriction: The graphical user interface for Configuration Manager is not supported on the HP-UX operating system. Only the command-line interface for Configuration Manager can be used on HP-UX.
Using the IBM® Enterprise Records Configuration Manager, you can perform several configuration tasks that you previously had to do manually: The tasks are broken up into three profiles.
Tip: For more information on the properties and values that you set in Configuration Manager, roll your mouse over the property name to view the tool tip help for the property.
