The Freehand Line drawing tool
draws a free-form line. The following examples show a red freehand
line drawn on an image. The second example shows the toolbar and resize
controls for the annotation.

To draw a freehand line
- Click the Draw Freehand Line tool.
- Click and hold the left mouse button down at the starting
point, then drag the mouse to the ending point while still holding
the mouse button down. You can drag the mouse in any direction to
create intricate shapes. Lift up the mouse button at the ending point.
Once you release the mouse button, the shape of the line
is set and you cannot add to the line. You can, however, adjust the
line thickness, size, and color using the annotation's toolbar.
To
select a line after drawing it:
- Click Select/edit on the annotation toolbar.
- Click on or near the line (within the bounding brackets). This
displays the toolbar you use to adjust the security, line thickness,
line color, or position.
To resize the annotation:
- Drag the pink box outward (right or down) to expand the line.
- Drag the pink box inward (left or up) to contract the line.
To change the line thickness:
- Click the Change Line Thickness buttons
in the toolbar to change the thickness of the line.
To change the line color:
- Click the Line Color button to open the
Color Picker.
- Select the desired color from the Color Picker.
- Click OK to save the color changes.
To move an annotation:
- Click the Select/edit tool on the annotation
toolbar.
- Click on the annotation and hold down the mouse button while you
drag the annotation to a new location.
- When the annotation is in the correct location, release the mouse
button.
