Creating a file plan

A file plan consists of a hierarchical structure that includes various entities for managing records in an object store. These entities are classification scheme, record category, record folder, and volume. File plans are stored in the File Plan Object Store (FPOS), which is an RMObjectStore instance. RM API enables you to create a file plan according to your business processes. In addition, you can perform various operations on file plan entities such as creating, modifying, and navigating entities. File plan entities such as classification scheme, record category, record folder, and volume are also known as container objects. All container objects can be derived from the RMFolder interface. This interface extends the RMObject interface as well as the Folder interface of the Content Java™ API.
