Work item processing time

The Work Item Processing Time cube shows the amount of time it takes to process specific work items. It contains the following dimensions and measures.

If a field available to you is not listed in the table below, it is a user-defined data field.

When the source of the data being analyzed is from Process Simulator, you can choose a specific simulation identified by the Simulation name, the name of the user who generated the simulation data, and the launch time of the simulation.

When the source of the data is from event logs, there is no separate data source information.

Table 2. Measures of Work Item Processing Time cube
Measure Description
Average completion time (days/hours/minutes) The average time (in days, hours, or minutes) it took to complete an item in a step, including wait and processing time. The time in a step is computed from the time the work item enters the step (“enqueued”) until the work item leaves the step (“completed”).
Average processing time (days/hours/minutes) The average time (in days, hours, or minutes) a work item was processed (“locked”) in a step.
Average wait time (days/hours/minutes) The average time (in days, hours, or minutes) a work item was waiting (not “locked”) in a step.
Completed work item count The number of items completed in the current interval.
Total completion time minutes The total time (in minutes ) it took to complete items in a step.
Total processing time minutes The total time (in minutes ) it took to process items in a step.
Total wait time minutes The total time (in minutes ) items were waiting in a step.
