Step-related reports

Step-related reports provide you with information about the status of work items at specific steps in your system.

Table 1. Step reports
Chart Name Description
Average Time Spent in Current Step The average time work items have spent in their current step and queue. The time is computed from the time the work item entered the step (was "enqueued"). If a work item visits a step more than once, the time spent only accounts for the latest (current) visit.
Average Time Spent To Complete Work Items At Step The average amount of time, in minutes, that it took to complete work items at each step during the specified time period. The information is grouped by time and workflow definition; in addition, you can filter on user.
Average Wait Time For Work Items During Time Period The average time work items have spent waiting (not "locked") in a step and queue over a given time period.
Number Of Incoming Work Items During Time Period The number of work items that entered each step during the specified time period. The information is grouped by time and workflow definition; in addition, you can filter on queue.
Number Of Work Items At Specified Step During Time Period The number of work items at each step at the end of the specified time period. The information is grouped by time and workflow definition; in addition, you can filter on queue.
Number Of Work Items Completed During Time Period The number of work items at each step that were completed during the specified time period. The information is grouped by time and workflow definition.
Number of Work Items Currently At Step The number of work items currently at each step. The information is grouped by workflow definition; in addition, you can filter on queue.
Number of Work Items Taking Each Route The number of work items that have traversed each of the routes leaving the source step.
Tip: The route count measure will have a value of zero when the Route dimension is not drilled down to the destination step level.
Percentage Of Work Items Taking Each Route At the destination step level, the percentage of work items taking a given path from the source step.
Tip: The route percentage measure will have a value of zero when the Route dimension is not drilled down to the destination step level.
Time Spent To Complete Work Items During Time Period The total time spent to complete the work items at each step during the specified time period. The information is grouped by time and workflow definition; in addition, you can filter on user.
