A workflow roster is a database structure that stores information about all workflows in an isolated region. Workflow rosters provide the workflow system and workflow administrators with an efficient way to locate specific active workflows.
When you create an isolated region, a roster called DefaultRoster is automatically created for that isolated region.
You can use Process Configuration Console to configure additional workflow rosters to ease administrative tasks. For example, in Process Designer you might direct finance-related workflows to one roster and sales-related workflows to another roster to distribute the data and enable an administrator to find work items of interest more easily.
