Queries can be initiated from many client applications,
such as IBM® Content Navigator or
Administration Console for Content Platform Engine. You can limit
the size of the search results to ensure that these queries return
manageable results and do not cause the server to run out of memory.
Procedure
To limit the search results size:
- Access the site properties in the administration console:
- In the domain navigation pane, click and click the site that
you want to associate with the Active Directory site.
- Click the Properties tab.
- In the Subsystem Configurations property
value list, select 6) Server Cache Configuration.
- In the Server Cache Configuration Properties tab,
update the values for the following properties, based on your site
needs:
- Query Page Max Size: The maximum number
of rows that are returned for a single server request for a paged
query.
- Query Page Default Size: The default number
of rows that are returned for a single server request for a paged
query, if no value is explicitly specified.
- Non Paged Query Max Size: The maximum number
of rows that are returned from a non-paged query.
