Enabling annotation security mapping

After the IBM® FileNet® Image Services user and group names are mapped to Content Platform Engine distinguished names with the SEC_map tool, the FileNet Image Services system administrator can activate annotation security mapping with the FileNet Image Services Application Executive, the Xapex program.

Procedure

To enable annotation security mapping:

  1. Start the Xapex application by double-clicking the icon in the FileNet Image Services Server Application program group or by entering Xapex on the command line.
  2. Select Applications > Security Administration.
  3. Select System > Default Security Settings.
  4. Clear the CFS-IS No Annotation Security Mapping check box.
  5. Click OK to save your changes. The change goes into effect the next time that you restart FileNet Image Services.
