Process Task Manager

Process Task Manager provides administrative tools that you can use to administer installed FileNet P8 Platform software features. The features that are available in Process Task Manager depend on the software that is installed on your server.

The following table lists the components that you can manage by using Process Task Manager:

Component Server where Process Task Manager appears
Rules Listener Server where your third-party rules software is installed
Component Manager Application Engine or Workplace XT server
Case Analyzer Content Platform Engine server
Process Simulator Process Simulator server
To configure application settings for Process Task Manager for Component Manager or Process Simulator component, select the top-level folder of Process Task Manager on the appropriate server and set the following properties.
Name Description
Registry port Specifies the port that the component service uses to communicate with the RMI registry. The default port is 32771.
Local Host Local host server name. Leave this field blank if the server environment is not a server cluster environment. For a cluster environment, enter the IP addresses, separated by commas, of all the nodes that make up the cluster.
