Sample dashboard for WebSphere Business Monitor

IBM® WebSphere® Business Monitor Dashboard provides a graphical display of data produced by an active process. The BPM Monitor Model for WebSphere Business Monitor that is included with BPM software enables the monitoring of work in progress (active BPM processes and work items).

The BPM software also includes a sample dashboard. After importing it, you can customize it for your data.

Our sample dashboard includes five portlets:
Important: The BPM Monitor Model monitors only work-in-progress. To guarantee that, all the views (dimensional, KPI, and so on.) must use TerminationTime as a dimension and show data based on "TerminationTime= 9999" only. The 9999 specifies that the work is open, and in progress.

Process Count

The Process Count portlet shows the number of active processes. View this value by region, process definition, and process version. For example, a bank could monitor the Process Count to monitor the number of loans in process.

proc_count

Average Process Processing Time

The Average Process Processing Time portlet shows the average processing time of all active processes, in days. View this value by region, process definition, and process version.

avg_proc_time

Work Item Count

The Work Item Count portlet can be customized to show the number of active work items. View this value by region, process, step, queue, and user.

work_item

Average Work Item Processing Time

The Average Work Item Processing Time portlet shows the average processing time of active work items. View this value by region, process, step, queue, and user.
