You can disable asynchronous input/output native transport
code in WebSphere® Application
Server by renaming
the native libraries.
Important: When an IBM®
WebSphere Application Server fix pack is installed,
the asynchronous input/output libraries might be installed again.
If the libraries are installed with the fix pack, you must rename
them again.
For
IBM
WebSphere Application Server 8.0
and later, the native libraries are in the following directories.
- AppServer/bin
- AppServer/lib/native/Operating
System/Architecture
- For example, AppServer/lib/native/Linux/x86_64
To disable the asynchronous input/output native transport
by renaming native libraries:
- Open a command prompt window.
- Type the commands for your operating system to disable
the library:
Option |
Description |
Linux |
mv libibmaio.so libibmaio.disabled mv
libibmaiodbg.so libibmaiodbg.disabled
|
Windows |
move ibmaio.dll ibmaio.dis move
ibmaiodbg.dll ibmaiodbg.dis
|
Tip: You can remove the native libraries, but you
might want to rename the libraries in the same directory. Then, you
know where the libraries are in case you need to reenable them. Since
they are native libraries and not Java .jar files,
the name is critical to load them.
- Restart WebSphere Application
Server.
