You must disable IPv6 addressing on your Windows 2008 server to minimize interference to publishing on Rendition Engine.
Important: Back up the Windows registry before
you make the following changes.
To disable IPv6 addressing:
- On the Rendition Engine server, click
.
- Type regedit and click OK to start the Registry
Editor.
- Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters.
- Create the DisabledComponents DWORD (32-bit) registry key if it does not
exist.
- Edit the value of DisabledComponents to read 0xFFFFFFFF.
- Close the Registry Editor and restart the Rendition Engine
server.
