Delete Image Services class and property mapping
information from Image Services and Content Platform Engine before you delete an object store.
About this task
When you delete an object store that was configured for Image Services class and property mappings, the object store is not deleted
from the Image Services domain. Image Services still contains the mapping information and continues to attempt
to export mapped document catalog entries. You must properly dispose of the mapping data on Image Services before you delete the object store.
You must be an object store administrator of that object store.
Procedure
To delete Image Services mappings before you delete an
object store:
- On the Image Services system, remove the default document class
mapping by using the IBM®
FileNet® Image Services Catalog Export Tool on a Remote
Admin Console (RAC):
- In the Default Mappings pane on the Default Document Class
Mappings tab, select the IBM
FileNet Image Services document class that
is mapped to the object store to be deleted.
- Click Remove Map.
- Access the object store properties in the administration console:
- In the domain navigation pane, click the object store.
- In the object store navigation pane, click the name of the object store (the top-level
item).
- On the Replication Class Mappings tab, select the class mappings that
are associated with the fixed content device that you are removing and click
Delete.
- If you are prompted, restart the FileNet CFS Server
for Image Services service. Open the Windows Services tool, such as by clicking . Right-click the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services service and select Start or
Restart.
- Delete the object store.
