Identify and resolve indexing failures to ensure that index jobs are running properly and that the text for the expected objects is indexed.
Indexing failures belong to one of the following types:
Object indexing failure | A failure that prevents the proper indexing of the text for a particular object. |
---|---|
Index job failure | A failure that is connected with an index job as opposed to a particular index request or object. For example, after reindexing an index, IBM® Content Search Services might fail to delete the old index that is now no longer used. Consequently, a successful index job with a status of TERMINATED NORMALLY might nevertheless have an index job failure. |
