Queue, roster, and event log properties

The workflow system uses queues to organize the flow of work, rosters to keep track of work in progress, and event logs to record each event that occurs with the running workflows in an isolated region. You use Process Configuration Console to create, configure, and manage these items. Because these are all parts of the same system, they share some of the same data, and the procedures to manage these items are very similar.

The following table lists and describes the shared procedures. See the related tasks for queue properties, component queue properties, roster properties, and event log properties for additional configuration options for each item.

Table 1. Configuration options for queues, rosters, and event logs
In the tab... Used for... You can...
General Queues, rosters, event logs Display identification information about the queue, roster, or event log, and edit its description.
