FileNet® Rendition Engine.
Preparing for Rendition Engine server installation
Before you install either supporting software or Rendition Engine on your server, verify
that the hardware and software requirements for the software are met.
Then copy the installation software to your local server.
Using cluster deployment
You can deploy Rendition Engine to
a cluster of servers for load balancing or high availability installations.
Configuring Microsoft Windows for Rendition Engine
You must perform certain operating system procedures on
all Windows-based servers where you install Rendition Engine, including installing supporting
software, configuring your network, and verifying collocation and
hard drive requirements.
Installing and configuring authoring applications
Before you can use Rendition Engine for
document rendering, you must install all of the supporting authoring
applications that are used to create and render publication documents
and configure the applications to run without user intervention.
