Configuring a Java Message Service component adapter

Among other types of adapters, an adapter can be a Java™ Message Service (JMS) adapter.

To configure a Java™ Message Service (JMS) component adapter:

  1. If you are reconfiguring an adapter for an existing component queue, do the following steps:
    1. In the navigation pane of Process Configuration Console, open the isolated region.
    2. Right-click the component queue and click Properties….
    3. Click the Adapter tab.
  2. Click Configure . . .. This button is next to the Adapter field.
  3. In the JMS Component Configuration Module window, enter values for the following fields:
    • Queue Connection Factory (JNDI)
    • Queue Name (JNDI)
    • JNDI URL. Specify the optional JNDI URL parameter for the queue location. If you do not specify the JNDI URL, the queue information is assumed to be defined in the workflow system application server.
  4. Click OK.
