If you get a FileDoesNotExist error during
a thumbnail sweep, you need to increase the thumbnail generation delay.
Symptoms
When running a thumbnail generation sweep, you get a FileDoesNotExist error.
Causes
If you are doing a sweep during the addition of a large
number of documents to the database, then sometimes not all documents
have finished processing while the sweep is trying to create a thumbnail
for them. This causes the sweep not be able to retrieve some documents,
and the process fails with a FileDoesNotExist error.
Resolving the problem
To resolve this problem, increase the thumbnail generation
delay:
- In the administration console, select the domain and click the Properties tab.
- For the Subsystem Configurations property,
select 3) Content Configuration from the list.
- In the Content Configuration Properties tab,
increase the value of the Thumbnail Generation Delay property.
(The default value is 90 seconds).
