When you recover an object store, you can recover just the object store data without
recovering the associated storage area.
Procedure
To recover an object store only:
- Stop the Content Platform Engine application
on all servers.
Attention: Failure to stop
the application server software can result in corrupted data in the
recovered object store.
- Recover the object store data.
- Start the Content Platform Engine application
on all servers.
- Run the content consistency checker tool to ensure that the storage area and the object
store data are synchronized.
- Clear the content cache that is associated with the object
store by manually deleting the contents of the content cache folder.
