IBM System Dashboard for Enterprise Content Management, Version 5.0.0.1

Usage reporting counters for Content Platform Engine

A (named) user is an individual user name who interacted with the Content Platform Engine (that is, sent any Remote Procedure Call) within the last 15 minutes. The listener inside a server that supports usage tracking tracks each user name and how many remote procedure calls that the user performed. A user is considered to be logged off if 15 minutes passes without any remote procedure calls generated from that user name. There are no actual log in or log out commands. Each remote procedure call carries the credentials of the user and is run as a single transaction. For example: log in, perform a request, and log out. When you right-click on the Listener node of a server that supports this feature in the Details view, one of the choices in the menu is Request user list. Both the names and associated remote procedure call counts display in a pop-up table.
