Using Process Administrator, you can terminate an entire
workflow or one or more work items.
- If the selected item is the main work item or the workflow, the
Terminate work command sends the work item to the Terminate map to
be processed and ultimately removed from the system according to the
logic of the Terminate map. When the Terminate map runs, all active,
suspended, or disabled timers for the work item are ended.
- If the Terminate map is the standard FileNet® supplied
Terminate map, the work item is terminated and the workflow ends.
- If the Terminate map has been customized, the specified processing
occurs before the work item is terminated.
- If the selected item is a child work item, the Terminate work
command ends processing of that work item without sending it to the
Terminate map. The parent work item is notified not to wait for that
specific child work item.
