Configure Process Task Manager components to start automatically.

Procedure

To configure Process Task Manager components to start automatically

  1. Start Process Task Manager.
  2. Select a FileNet® P8 Platform component from the feature pane.
  3. In the properties pane, select Automatically started.
    Option Description
    Windows If you select the Automatically started option, the process:
    • Automatically starts when you restart the server where Process Task Manager is running.
    • Automatically starts when you start the associated service using the Windows Services utility. (The name of the service is component Services Manager, where component is the name of the FileNet P8 component where Process Task Manager is running.)

    Stopping a process is not affected by the Automatically started option. All processes that are controlled by Process Task Manager are automatically stopped if you stop the service by using the Windows Services console.

    UNIX For Component Manager, run the following command to start the Component Manager components that are configured for automatic startup in Process Task Manager:
    routercmd -autostart
  4. Click Apply.
