When indexing a document, warnings and a Failed
to convert error are generated, which indicates that a content
element file for the document could not be converted.
Symptoms
Initial warnings similar to the following appear in the
p8_server_error.log file:
Failed
to convert <input-file> for object: {ZZZ} class: className export
error:2050 request was retried 1 times out of 5 and will be retried
again at a later timeWhen the retry completely fails,
the following error appears:
Failed to convert <input-file>
for object: {ZZZ} class: className export error:2050 request was retried
5 times out of 5 and no further retries will be attempted
Causes
The amount of time that is needed to convert a document's
content element file from binary to text exceeds a configured maximum
value.
Resolving the problem
Adjust the timeout value by changing the value of the Maximum
lease interval property for text extraction. To use Administration Console for Content Platform Engine to access this property,
open the Text Search Subsystem tab for the domain.
