Creating a Federation Administration application user

When you run the installation program, you must specify the Federation Administration application user credentials, referred to here and in the Installation and Upgrade Worksheet as cfs_fedadmin_user. You must use this account to log on to the Federation Administration application.

Procedure

To create a Federation Administration application user:

  1. Navigate to the IBM® Content Integrator installation directory location that is appropriate to your operating system:
    UNIX
    /opt/IBM/ContentIntegrator/bin
    Windows
    C:\Program Files\IBM\ContentIntegrator\bin
  2. From the command line, run the following command:
    run_sample commandline.SSOAdminTool
  3. Select Create Subject
  4. When prompted, enter the user name and password of the account.
