FileNet P8 Content Federation Services, Version 5.2.1

Configuring access to the source repository

All access to the source repository by IBM® FileNet® Content Federation Services for Content Integrator occurs from a single repository account, called the CFS user and referred to here and in the installation and upgrade worksheet as cfs_user. You must create and use a separate CFS user for each repository.

Procedure

To create and configure the cfs_user account for each repository:

Use your repository tools to create an account that will act as the cfs_user and grant it sufficient access to the repository so that it can carry out the following operations:

An administrative account is likely to be able to perform all the required tasks.

Some source repositories might limit the number of concurrent login sessions per user. Depending on the number of rules, threads, and workers that are configured for federation, you might need to increase the concurrent logon value for your repository.
