IBM FileNet P8, Version 5.2.1

Define workflow properties

You can specify the properties of either a single workflow definition or the workflow collection. For the current workflow definition, specify properties such as the name and subject, the data fields, attachments, workflow groups, and milestones you will use for any steps in the workflow, and any submaps. For the workflow collection, specify the properties, such as the name of the workflow collection.

If you have a detailed analysis of the workflow, you might find it efficient to define the fields, attachments, and workflow groups in the Workflow Properties before you start to define the steps.

Your IBM® FileNet® license agreement determines the level of functionality that you see in Process Designer. As a consequence, some of the options described here might not be available for your system. See your system administrator for more information.

  1. Click Action > Workflow Properties.
  2. Select the tab and enter the appropriate information.
