IBM FileNet P8, Version 5.2.1

Maximum lease interval

The administration console Maximum lease interval property for indexing specifies a maximum for the following intervals: the wait interval for the dispatcher and the interval for a worker thread to process an index batch. The latter interval is called the lease interval.

For more information about these intervals, see Work and wait intervals for the subsystem dispatcher.

Important: Do not alter the value of this property unless instructed to do so by a support representative from IBM Software Support.

The default value is 14400 (seconds), which is 4 hours. The minimum acceptable value is 7200 (seconds), which is 2 hours.

Important: If Content Engine Client is restarted, it might not resume any interrupted batch processing until after the expiration of the lease interval.
