Improving TCP socket performance on a Solaris operating system

You can improve TCP socket performance and prevent Java™ processing errors in a Solaris environment by:
  • Adjusting how fast TCP connections are recycled
  • Adjusting the number of TCP connection requests that can wait in the server queue
  • Adjusting how fast TCP connections are recycled and adjusting the number of TCP connections requests that can wait in the server queue, accordingly.
