You must either uninstall or disable the existing Case Analyzer Engine before you can upgrade Case Analyzer.

To uninstall or disable the Case Analyzer Engine:
- Uninstall Case Analyzer Engine.
- On the Case Analyzer Engine
server, go to and then double-click Add/Remove
Programs.
- Select FileNet Case Analyzer Engine from
the list of installed programs and click Change/Remove.
- Click Yes to confirm you want
to remove the existing Case Analyzer Engine.
- Click OK when the Uninstallation
program is finished.
- Close the Add/Remove Programs snap-in.
- Close the Control Panel.
- Disable Case Analyzer Engine:
- Stop the Case Analyzer Services
Manager.
- Access the properties for the Case Analyzer server in the administration
console.
- In the Status field, select Disabled.
- Save your changes.
