IBM FileNet P8, Version 5.2.1

Disabling WebSphere Application Server Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) to improve FileNet P8 response times and CPU utilization

By default, the WebSphere® Performance Monitoring Infrastructure is enabled. Disabling this option provides moderate response time and CPU utilization improvements.

If you are not troubleshooting performance or scalability issues, consider disabling this option.

The following links take you to the instructions for enabling the Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) that are located in the WebSphere Application Server documentation. Follow these same steps to disable the PMI. Instead of selecting the Enable Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) check box to enable the PMI, remove the check from the check box to disable the PMI.
