Audit entries

When an audit event occurs, FileNet® P8 creates audit entries in an audit log that is stored in the Event table of the object store database. Audit entries are instances of one of the subclasses of the Event class.

Audit entries contain the following information or properties:

Property information

If you set the object state recording level, the system property ModifiedProperties returns the symbolic names of the properties that were modified by the audited event operation. This property belongs to the subclasses of the ObjectChangeEvent class that logs events involving a change of properties. For a list of the subclasses that contain this property, refer to the following items:
  • In the administration console, under the object store Data Design > Classes > Other Classes > Event tree of subclasses, examine the system properties that belong to the classes.
