The administration console might not be displayed correctly
in Internet Explorer and you might have restricted access to network
resources, such as files on Universal Naming Convention (UNC) shared folders.
Causes
If you are running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Internet
Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration enabled, Enhanced Security
Configuration can prevent the administration console from being displayed
correctly in Internet Explorer and can restrict access to network
resources, such as files on Universal Naming Convention (UNC) shared folders.
Resolving the problem
To resolve this problem, disable Internet Enhanced Security
Configuration on your local workstation:
- Log on to your workstation as an administrative user.
- Click .
- Click Configure IE ESC.
- Select Off for the Administrators and Users
groups.
