You can select someone to act as a substitute for an out-of-office user. The substitute
receives the work that is normally routed to the user.
About this task
Restriction: The out-of-office settings for a user do not apply retroactively to
already assigned work. For information about reassigning existing work items, see
Assigning work items.
Procedure
To change the out-of-office settings for a user:
- Accessing the workflow system configuration.
- Click the Workflow System node.
- On the Workflow System tab, click .
- In the Set an out-of-office substitute window, configure the settings for the
user.
- Click OK.
