Checking in or saving a document

Check in a document to add another version of the document to the object store. The new version is added as either a major version or as a minor version. You can add content elements to the document as part of the checkin.

Procedure

To check in a document:

  1. In the administration console, access the document object.
    1. In the domain navigation pane, click the object store that contains the document.
    2. In the object store navigation pane, expand the Browse > Root Folder folder and select the subfolder of the document.
    3. In the details pane, click the document link in the Containment Name column.
  2. From the Actions menu on the document tab, click Checkin, checkout, cancel > Check in.
  3. Optional: In the Check In Document window, click Add for each content element to add to the document.
  4. Check in or save the document.
