The Social Collaboration Notification Extensions For Connections
add-on defines the classes and properties that are used to generate
an activity stream for consumption by a downstream server.
Note: Applications that require the Social Collaboration
Notification Extensions For Connections add-on will typically install
the add-on automatically as part of deploying and configuring the
application, or the application's documentation will direct you to
install the add-on. Do not install the add-on unless you are using
an application that requires the add-on.
Note: There
is no built-in mechanism in for monitoring how many entries are in
a queue table. This is true for the Activity Stream queue, just as
for any of the native queues. If you want to monitor the number of
unprocessed Activity Stream queue items, you must do so by issuing
queries directly against the UT_ACTIVITYSTREAMQUEUEENT table, using
native database tools.
You can use Administration Console for Content Platform Engine to view the metadata.
