When business rules are used in a workflow, you can assign
appropriate rule sets to a system step.
To specify rules for
a system step
Select the appropriate system step, then select the Rules tab in the Properties pane.
On the Rules tab, specify the Type, when the rule will
execute at runtime.
Before Execution - The specified
rule set will execute before the step is enqueued.
After Completion - The specified
rule set will execute after the step is completed.
On the Rule Sets bar, click Add.
Select the rule sets from the Available Rule Sets list,
then move them to the Selected Rule Sets list.
Use the up and down arrows as necessary to re-order the list, specifying
the order of execution.
