You can configure a Content Platform Engine instance by using the
graphical user interface version of Configuration Manager.
About this task
See the appendix Configuration Manager user interface reference for complete information about using
the graphical user interface. If you need an accessible version of Configuration Manager, use the command-line
interface instead of the graphical user interface.
Procedure
To start Configuration Manager:
- Start Configuration Manager by
running one of the following commands, depending on the operating
system that runs on the machine where you installed Content Platform Engine, and log on as the config_mgr_user:

Perform one of the following actions:

The first time that you start Configuration Manager, the Welcome
is displayed.
- Select one of the links in the Welcome to learn more or
to start working in a wizard, or close the Welcome by clicking the X in
the tab at the upper left. You can reopen the Welcome later,
as needed, from the Help menu.
