IBM Enterprise Records, Version 5.1.2

Installing the Content Engine clients

You must install the Content Engine client software, either interactively or silently, in order to have a complete IBM® Enterprise Records installation and to set up IBM Enterprise Records to work with Content Platform Engine.

About this task

Log on as the same user that installed IBM Enterprise Records software to install the Content Engine client. You must install the Content Engine client software on all servers where IBM Enterprise Records components are installed:
Important: In the Content Engine client installation software wizard, you can have the client installation program create the EnterpriseRecords.war and EnterpriseRecords.ear deployment files. Choose not to have the client installation program create the deployment files. Later in this procedure, you run the IBM Enterprise Records Configuration Manager tool and complete the tasks in the Web Application Deployment profile. This procedure creates and deploys the deployment files.
