After you upgrade an IBM® Enterprise
Records file
plan object store, you can transfer new or updated IBM Enterprise
Records workflow definitions.
You can transfer the definitions from the upgraded file plan object
store to the Process Engine, Content Platform Engine, or region.
Procedure
To transfer upgraded workflows:
Complete the Transfer
Upgraded Workflows task. Before you run this
task, enter a Records Administrator user ID in the
Administrator
user name field on the
Set Properties Connection
screen. The workflows must be transferred before they can
be used. A file plan object store and a Connection Point to the require
region must be specified.
Important: When
you run the Transfer Upgraded Workflows, some
of the workflows that are delivered with the product overwrite the
preexisting versions of these workflows on the Process Engine or Content Platform Engine. If you have customized
these workflow versions, you lose the customizations. To retain your
customizations, you must copy the preexisting versions that the software
saved for you over the new versions.
