similar to the following error:
java.lang.SecurityException:
Cannot set up certs for trusted CAs.
This error
occurs because the jurisdiction policy files are not signed by trusted
signers. This error can be resolved by getting the unlimited jurisdiction
policy files (local_policy.jar and US_export_policy.jar) from the Oracle Sun Developer Network.
- Go to the following website: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp.
- Go to Other Downloads.
- Locate the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited
Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files <n.n> and click Download. A compressed file containing
the policy files is downloaded onto your computer.
- Extract and copy the downloaded local_policy.jar and US_export_policy.jar to <WAS_HOME>/java/jre/lib/security/. For example: /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/java/jre/lib/security/.
