IBM Enterprise Records, Version 5.1.2

Removing IBM Enterprise Records

To remove IBM® Enterprise Records, you must manually remove the IBM Enterprise Records web application from your web application server. Then run the IBM Enterprise Records uninstallation program.

About this task

You can uninstall the IBM Enterprise Records software silently or interactively.
Important: The uninstallation program defaults to the same mode that was used when the IBM Enterprise Records software was installed. If you want to override this default, use the -i option with the mode you want to use. For example, enter -i gui to uninstall interactively if the software installation was completed in the silent mode.

Procedure

To uninstall the IBM Enterprise Records software:

  1. Stop and remove the IBM Enterprise Records web application from your web application server.
  2. Stop the Component Manager.
  3. Run the IBM Enterprise Records uninstallation program by entering the following command in a single command line, depending on your operating system:
    Option Description

What to do next

The IBM Enterprise Records uninstallation program removes all folders and files associated with the installation of IBM Enterprise Records. If this software instance was originally an upgraded environment, files and folders from a previous version remain. If you want to remove previous versions of the software, you must also run the uninstallation program for that version. See that software uninstallation instructions for details. To remove IBM Enterprise Records from your application server, you need to follow the procedure associated with your application server type.
