An external event occurs outside the system but has an
impact on cutoff or disposition of entities. An authorized user creates
an external event to notify the system about this occurrence.
Procedure
To add an external event:
- Select the Configure tab.
- Click External Event Triggers:

- Click Add External Event:

- Enter the name and description for the external event. The name is limited to 20 characters. The description displays
in the list of external events.
- Enter the External Event Occurrence Date. If you are creating this event in anticipation of an external
situation, you can enter the occurrence date at a later time.
- Click Finish.
