You can use the sample federated records management configurations
to help you plan for integrating IBM® Enterprise
Records with other content repositories.
With these samples, your goal is to use your IBM Enterprise
Records software to declare documents
that are stored in repositories as records. You use the IBM Enterprise
Records software capabilities
of disposition schedules and sweeps to maintain and track company
documents.
The first sample configuration describes a high-level system configuration
that might help you plan your adoption and implementation of the following
products and components:
- IBM FileNet® P8 Platform
- Content repository.
- Content Federation Services
- Federates content from heterogeneous repositories into IBM FileNet Content Manager. Content Federation Services connects the different
repositories to the rest of the system.
- IBM Content
Manager OnDemand
- Content repository.
- IBM Enterprise
Records
- Content repository.
The sample configuration is installed and configured on a multiple
server system. The hardware and software specifications are recommendations.
