There are different steps to follow depending on whether
you customized or did not customize your Crystal Reports templates.
About this task
Tip: In a clustered Content Engine or Content Platform Engine environment on Windows,
you might need to add the IP address for Content Engine or Content Platform Engine into the \system32\drivers\etc\hosts file
on Windows in order to retrieve reports in IBM® Enterprise
Records.
Procedure
To configure your reports:
- Verify the following particulars:
- You have the supported versions of SAP Crystal Server
3011 (Named License required) and SAP Crystal Reports 2011 installed.

Important: (Windows 2003 SP 1 only) Before installing Crystal Reports,
you must set Data Execution Protection for essential Windows programs and services only.
- You copied all relevant files to the Crystal Reports
server as part of the copying required files task.
- You performed the tasks described in the report viewing
topic.
- You installed the Content Engine or Content Platform Engine Client files on the
Crystal Reports server as part of the Content Engine and Process Engine or Content Platform Engine installation task.
- The name of the server hosting the Crystal Reports application
server is specified in the Application Engine or Workplace XT site preferences ().
- Back up the existing Crystal Reports templates found in
the following directory if not already completed: Drive:\Program
Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Samples\en\Reports.
- Depending on the IBM Enterprise
Records configuration
you are upgrading, perform one of the following actions:
- If the IBM Enterprise
Records reports
were used as-is, with no modifications, complete the configuring reports
if you did not customize procedure.
- If some or all of the IBM Enterprise
Records reports
were modified/customized, complete the configuring reports if you
have customized procedure.
