The Interim Transfer workflow with mapping uses a transfer
mapping object to transfer entities. The workflow ensures that the
home location of a physical entity, or the location of an electronic
entity, is changed to the specified location at the end of the retention
period of a phase. The records manager must approve the interim transfer
of each entity. Before approving the interim transfer of a physical
entity, the records manager must ensure that the physical entity is
manually transferred to the new location.
The Interim Transfer workflow runs when you initiate disposition.
The Approve step shows entities that are due for interim transfer.
