Follow these instructions to enable Secure Socket Layer
(SSL) for RMI/IIOP if you use WebSphere® Application
Server 8.
Procedure
To turn on SSL for RMI/IIOP:
- On the IBM® Enterprise
Records server,
open the WebSphere Application
Server administrative
console.
- Go to .
- Change Client certificate authentication from Required to Supported.
- Change Transport from SSL-required to SSL-supported.
- Go to .
- Change Client certificate authentication from Required to Supported.
- Change Transport from SSL-required to SSL-supported.
- Save the changes and restart the WebSphere Application
Server.
