IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine

The IBM® Administration Console for Content Platform Engine administration application is useful tool for examining details about deployed IBM Enterprise Records class and property schemas. IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine is also useful in providing the capacity to test SQL query statements.

Common IBM Enterprise Records classes

The following paths equal the hierarchy shown in the IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine navigation tree. These paths represent the more common IBM Enterprise Records schema classes used in report queries.

Object Stores > object_store > Document Class > Record
This path shows the base class for all of the concrete IBM Enterprise Records record classes.
Object Stores > object_store > Other Classes > Folder > IER_Folder_name
This path shows the base class for all of the IBM Enterprise Records record container classes such as File Plan, Record Category, Record Folder, and Volume. Record Folder is further subclassed into several electronic and physical record container types.
Object Stores > object_store > Other Classes > Link > IER_Link
This path shows the base class for all of the IBM Enterprise Records link related classes such as Record Hold Link, RM Folder Hold Link, and others.
Object Stores > object_store > Other Classes > Custom Object
Under this node are many IBM Enterprise Records custom object classes such as Action, Disposal Schedule, Location, Phase, Record Hold, Record Type, and others.

Use IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine to Test Report Queries

The IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine Query Builder feature is helpful in developing and testing FileNet P8 CM SQL query statements.

To access the Query Builder feature:
  1. In IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine, right-click the Object Stores | <object store> | Search Results navigation tree node.
  2. Select New Search from the menu.
  3. On the View menu, select SQL View to change the Query Builder view to the free form SQL text entry form.
When using the IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine Query Builder, the first SELECT statement item must be the "This" object reference pertaining to the primary table involved in the query. For example, the following report SQL statement:
		SELECT ri.DocumentTitle, ri.DateCreated
		FROM RecordInfo ri
		WHERE ri.Format LIKE 'Regulator Data%'
must be changed to:
		SELECT ri.This, ri.DocumentTitle, ri.DateCreated
		FROM RecordInfo ri
		WHERE ri.Format LIKE 'Regulator Data%'
in order to test the SQL statement with IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine Query Builder. When supplying literal date/time values, P8 CM SQL syntax requires the use of the ISO format YYYYMMDDhhmmss[,ffff]Z or the W3C format YYYY-MM-DD[hh:mm:ss[.ffff]][<timezone> as in:
		WHERE ri.DateLastModified >= 20080324T112334Z
		AND ri.DateLastModified <= 2009-02-12
