You must create a IBM® Enterprise
Records Object store configuration for new installation profile to configure object stores to work with IBM Enterprise
Records. The tasks that are associated
with this profile configure the file plan object store (FPOS) and
record-enabled object stores (ROS).
About this task
You must complete the following tasks:
- Create Marking Sets and Add-ons
- Configure File Plan Object Store
- Configure Record Object Store
- Import Templates
- Configure Workflows
- Transfer Workflows
Procedure
To create an Object store configuration profile:
- Ensure that your Content Engine or Content Platform Engine server is running.
- If IBM Enterprise
Records Configuration Manager is not already running, start the IBM Enterprise
Records Configuration Manager.
- Start the Create New Installation Profile wizard by selecting .
- Select the profile type, Object store configuration
profile.
- In the Set Properties
for Connection window, click Test Connection to test the connection between Configuration Manager and the Content Engine or Content Platform Engine server. If the test fails, make sure that the Content Engine or Content Platform Engine server is running.
Also, make sure the Content Engine or Content Platform Engine server
property values that you entered match the values that are defined
in your Content Engine or Content Platform Engine server.
- The profile that you created displays
an icon in the profile pane along with tasks and icons.
What to do next
Complete the
Create Marking Sets and Add-Ons task, the
Configure File Plan Object Store task, and then Import Templates and Transfer Workflows.
Important: Before you add marking sets or add-ons, verify no
marking sets or add-ons are already in the domain. To check for existing
marking sets or add-ons, log on to IBM Administration
Console for Content Platform Engine or Enterprise Manager as the GCD administrator
and select the Marking Sets node or the AddOns node.
