IBM Enterprise Records, Version 5.1.2

Configuring Secure Sockets Layer security

You can use Secure Sockets Layer security (SSL) to secure authentication credentials and data sent over a network. If you do use SSL, you can use either redirection or full SSL.

About this task

To configure SSL for IBM® Enterprise Records, use the same mode as the mode used by Application Engine, Workplace XT, or IBM Content Navigator. Configure the IBM Enterprise Records web application for redirect login, configure the IBM Enterprise Records web application for full SSL, and know that most IBM Enterprise Records components support connecting to a Content Platform Engine configured for SSL.
