IBM Enterprise Records, Version 5.1.2

(DoD Classified only) Creating the classified records security personnel access role

You can create the Classified Records Security Personnel access role on the FileNet® P8 system for use with the DoD Classified data model. A member of this access role can upgrade, downgrade, set the declassification timeframe, and declassify a classified record in IBM® Enterprise Records.

About this task

Important: Users assigned the Application Engine Administrators access role are members of all defined access roles, including the Classified Security Personnel access role. For more information:
Restriction: If you are going to run the IBM Enterprise Records Access Role tool in the Windows operating system to show the information in European languages (except English), apply the following settings by using the Command Prompt before running the tool:
  1. Set the font property to Lucida Console.
  2. Change the code page to relative Windows ANSI code page (from 1250 to 1257). For example, if you want to show French in DOS windows, run 'chcp 1252' to change the code page to 1252. Code page 1252 is the Windows ANSI code page for West European Latin. For a full list of code pages, see the Code Page Identifiers table.

Procedure

To run the Access Role tool:

  1. See the planning checklist you completed for values you might need to complete these steps.
  2. On your IBM Enterprise Records server, go to ier_install_path.
  3. Create the Classified Records Security Personnel access role.
    1. Run RMAccessRole.sh (AIX, HP-UX, Linux, or Solaris) or RMAccessRole.bat (Windows) file and enter the required information.
