Select entry template (optional)
Step 2 of the Add Document Policy Wizard is to associate an entry template
with the policy.
To select an existing entry template
- Click Browse/Search existing Entry Template.
The Select Entry Template page appears.
- Browse to the object store folder that contains the entry template. The
object store folder is added to the path near the top of the page and a list
of folders is displayed.
- Click Select from Versions below the description
of the desired entry template. If there is more than one entry template, a
list appears.
- Click Select below the desired entry template
version to complete the selection.
- Click Next to proceed to Step 3, Map
Form Fields.
To create a new entry template
- Click Add Entry Template to launch the Entry
Template Designer. See Help for Entry Template Designer for more
information on creating entry templates.
- Complete the steps in the Entry Template Designer wizard.
- Click OK on the Add Confirmation page.
- Click Next to proceed to Step 3, Map
Form Fields.
NOTES
- After the business process completes, the form data and its version history
remains in the object store.
- If you choose not to associate a form data entry template with the form
policy, the user will not see the Save button.
- This screen can be accessed in modify mode. When you modify an entry template,
you can:
- Click Clear Entry Template to remove
an entry template from the document policy.
- Click Select Release to update to a major
version of the template.
- Click Select Current to update to the
current version of the template (major or minor).
- If you modify the Form Data Entry Template, all automatic property mappings
(ITX form template fields that have identically named counterparts for document
class properties and/or workflow data fields) are saved. Manual property mappings
must be reconfigured.
