Import Helper (Import Options tab)

You can use the Import Options tab to choose the import file. For help opening and running the Import Helper, see Run the Import Helper.

NOTE  The use of Enterprise Manager or its related command-line tool to create an export manifest, or to export or import objects, is deprecated and it is recommended that you use FileNet Deployment Manager instead for these operations. For more information, see Exporting and importing.

Import Manifest File
The import manifest file is an export manifest file that you previously created during an export process. Select the manifest file that contains the list of export files you previously exported and are now importing. An example of an import manifest file name is Set1_CEExport_Manifest.xml.
External Content Path
Specify the folder path where the content located outside of the XML file is saved. If you have not moved the external content folder after export, you can leave this field blank.
Log File
Identifies the location and name of the log file the import utility uses to record its progress. The log file shows successful imports, warnings, and errors. You can use the default file path and name or select a different file path.
Append if Log File Already Exists
Select this option to add new status messages and errors to the bottom of the existing log file. This option determines how to handle content in an existing log file.
