The IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records user interface is multilingual.
Users can select a language based on the browser locale, which is now consistent with FileNet P8 Workplace and Workplace XT. The language pack content is included in the English installation program. You do not need to download a run a separate language pack. The installation and configuration instructions for non-English environments are integrated into the IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records Installation and Upgrade Guide.
The following table lists the available languages for the user interface.

When IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records has FileNet P8 components deployed in a JBoss environment or a WebLogic environment, and the browser setting is updated, properties might not be displayed according to the new browser language until the cache is refreshed. Restarting JBoss or WebLogic also corrects this error.
Other clients that change the language will experience the same behavior before the cache refresh.
IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records displays a localized interface according to the browser language setting. For tools that do not use a browser, set the language according to the IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records server locale.
Important: If you change the browser locale when you are working in IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records V4.5 and later, you must log out of your local IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records session, close the browser window, and log back in to IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records for the new locale setting to take affect.
