Delete Image Services mapping prior to deleting the object store
You can delete Image Services class and property mapping
information, from both the Image Services system and Content Engine, prior to deleting
the object store.
Deleting an object store that has been configured for Image Service class and property
mapping does not delete the object store from the Image Services domain. Image Services
still contains the mapping information, and Image Services continues to attempt to export mapped document catalog entries. Administrators
must properly dispose of the mapping data on Image Services before deleting the
object store.
To delete Image Services mapping prior to deleting the object store
- On the Image Services system, remove the default document class mapping by using the
CFS Connector - IS Catalog Export Tool on a Remote Admin Console (RAC):
- On the Default Document Class Mappings tab, select the IS Doc Class
in the Default Mappings pane that is mapped to the object store you want
to delete.
- Click the Remove Map button.
- In Enterprise Manager, log in as the object
store administrator of that object store. See Object store administrator for more information about the object store administrator role.
- Right-click the object store, click Properties,
and go to the Image Services tab.
- Select the current class mappings
associated with the fixed content device you are removing and click Remove.
- If you are prompted, restart the
FileNet CFS Server for Image Services.
- Delete the object store. For instructions about deleting an object store, see Deleting an object
store.
