Document Class properties—Content Federation tab
Use the Content Federation tab to:
- Define the class mappings between a fixed content device and Content
Engine
- Map the properties between the class mappings.
To see all
class mappings for all document classes in the object store, see the Object store properties - Content Federation tab.
If
the object store does not have a fixed content device, the Content Federation tab is hidden.
- Class Mappings
- Displays all of the document classes that are mapped to
the current document class
whose property sheet you are viewing. The class name is in Enterprise
Manager's title bar.
- Fixed Content Device / External Class
- Displays the names of the Fixed Content Device and the document class that is mapped to the current Content Engine document
class. Select a mapping and click Map Properties
to administer the property mappings for the selected class mapping.
- Add
- Click Add to open the Add External Class Mapping window. Use this
window to select a fixed content device and a class.
- Remove
- Click Remove to delete the selected class mapping.
- Replication direction
- The Replication path for the document properties. Inbound - implies inbound relative to the CE. Oubound - implies outbound relative to the CE. Both implies bi-directional replication.
- Map properties
- Click Map properties to create or modify property mappings. For more information about creating or modifying property mappings between a fixed content device and Content Engine, see Add or edit external property
