Declare a classified record

If your system has any object stores that are set up to use the DoD Classified data model, you can declare a classified record or an unclassified record.

Declare a classified record in IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records

In IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records, when you click Declare Physical Record while browsing in a file plan object store, the record declaration wizard prompts you to select Declare Unclassified Record or Declare Classified Record. NOTE You can declare a classified electronic record only from Workplace or Workplace XT.

Declare a classified record in Workplace or Workplace XT

In Workplace and Workplace XT, the Declare as Record screen displays when a member of the Records Users group selects Declare as Record from one of the following items:

If a Workplace or Workplace XT user is not a member of the Records Users group, the Declare as Record option is not available.
