Limit search results size
Queries can be initiated from many client applications, including Workplace, Enterprise Manager, and custom applications. To ensure that these queries return manageable results and do not cause the server to run out of memory, perform the following procedure.
- In Enterprise Manager, right-click the domain node and click Properties.
- Click the Properties tab.
- In the Subsystem Configurations property value list, select 6 – [Object (Server Cache Configuration)].
- In the Server Cache Configuration Properties window, click the Properties tab.
- Update the values for the following properties, based on your site needs:
- Query Page Max Size: The maximum number of rows returned for a single server request for a paged query.
- Query Page Default Size: The default number of rows returned for a single server request for a paged query, if no value is explicitly specified.
- Non Paged Query Max Size: The maximum number of rows returned from a non-paged query.
