Download and install Desktop eForms
If Desktop eForms isn't installed on your local machine, you can download the
application from Workplace and install it.
Two installation options are available: Complete
and Custom. If you select Complete, the installer
application automatically installs the following standard program features:
- All eForms plug-ins.
- Spell checking and online Help.
- Script files that enable JAWS 7.0 functionality with Desktop eForms.
If you're an advanced user or a system administrator, you may want to select
Custom so you can choose which features to install
and where you want them installed. JAWS functionality will not be enabled unless
the script files are installed to the default directory.
NOTES
- If your organization uses the Extended MAPI mail service, you must select
the Custom install option.
- To install Desktop eForms, you must have administrator privileges on your
local machine.
A quick start guide is installed on your local machine when you install Desktop
eForms. After the installation is complete, click your Start
menu, and then navigate to All Programs\FileNet\eForms. You can use the guide
to learn how to take a form policy offline, work with the form in Desktop eForms,
and then put the form back in Workplace.
