Complete the upgrade of a Process Engine farm by editing the /etc/hosts
file and stopping and restarting the software on the nodes in the
farm.
Use the procedures in this task to complete the configuration
of a Process Engine farm after
upgrading.
- Log on to every Process Engine server
in the farm as a user with permissions to edit the /etc/hosts file.
- Remove any entries in the /etc/hosts file referencing the
load balancer name or IP address.
- Log off and log back on as the pe_install_user.
- Change directory to the Process Engine installation directory.
- Start the Process Task Manager,
as follows:

At a command prompt, change to the installation directory,

The terminal should support X Windows and

- On the General tab, enter the Process
Engine Server Virtual Host name and save the configuration.
- Make note of all the node names under the Instance node
on the left side of the screen.
- Right-click on each node and Unregister the node from the
farm.
- Right-click on the Instance node
and add each node back into the farm.
