From WebSphere® Application
Server,
you can remove IBM® InfoSphere™ Enterprise Records by
running the uninstall program from the _rmuninst directory.
To remove the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records software:
- Log on to the application server as a user with permissions
as documented in Installation directory access requirements.
- Stop Component Manager if it is running.
- Log on to WebSphere Application
Server administration
console, stop the Web application and remove it:
- From IBM FileNet® Enterprise Manager,
stop the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records Web
Application process.
- Remove the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records Web
Application from Enterprise Applications.
- Navigate to the _rmuninst directory
where you installed InfoSphere Enterprise

- Run the uninstallation program:

use Add or Remove Programs from the Control
Panel to remove the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records software.

- On the Welcome window, click Next.
- On the Features window, select which
components to remove and click Next.
- In the Summary window, verify the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records components to remove and
click Uninstall. The uninstall program
will remove all InfoSphere Enterprise
Records components
from the server.
- When the uninstallation program finishes, click Finish.
- Delete the following temporary directory:

- Delete the RecordsManager, RecordsManagerSweep,
and FilePlanImportExportTool directories from
the RM_install_path/FileNet/RM folder.
