The two report templates (Summary Actions carr
out.rpt and Detailed Actions carr out.rpt)
use actions performed by records users.
The FileNet® Records

Report templates have the connection set to use the FN OLE DB provider.
To update the data source of the report template to use the Content Engine JDBC provider, use the Set
Database Location command in Crystal Reports to update the
data source name, as described in the following steps:
- Start Crystal Reports Designer.
- Open a custom report template to modify.
- From the Main report, select .
- In the Set DataSource Location dialog
box, expand the Create New Connection folder
in the Replace with area.
- Click JDBC (JNDI).
- In the Connection URL, change the
Object Store value to the name of the desired object store, and then
click Next.
- Enter your Logon Information for a GCD Administrative user
and click Finish. The user ID is
a Content Engine user ID.
- In the Set Data Source Location area,
select the Datasource name under Reports and
select JDBC URL under Replace with area
and then click Update.
- On the Enter Values dialog box, specify
a value for each parameter, and click OK. To enter values correctly, follow the instructions in see Guidelines for entering values during report generation.
- Repeat step 8 through step 9 for each sub-report.
- Click Close.
- Modify the queries of the main report and the sub-reports.
