Reconfiguring InfoSphere Enterprise Records sweep applications

After upgrading the sweep application and before you can run the IBM® InfoSphere™ Enterprise Records Disposition Sweep or Hold Sweep applications, you must reconfigure them to add new configuration entries.

To reconfigure InfoSphere Enterprise Records Sweep applications:

  1. To access the worksheet file, p8_worksheet.xls, that contains the parameter values to specify in the InfoSphere Enterprise Records installation, see "Using the installation and upgrade worksheet" section. In the worksheet file, verify that the Data > Filter > AutoFilter command is enabled.
  2. Locate the RMSweepConfiguration.xml and RMHoldSweepConfiguration.xml files in the backup directory:
    Option Description
    FileNet® Records Manager 3.7 RM_backup_path/FileNet/RecordsManagerSweep/lib/config
    FileNet Records Manager 4.0 and 4.5 RM_backup_path/FileNet/RM/RecordsManagerSweep/lib/config

  3. Copy the files to the following location on the InfoSphere Enterprise Records Sweep server: RM_install_path/FileNet/RM/RecordsManagerSweep/lib/config.
