Create, load, and save a SQL query
To create and run a query using SQL commands and optionally load and
save SQL queries
- Select and right click the object store's Search
Results node.
- Select New Search to create a search.
The Content Engine Query Builder opens.
- On the View menu, click SQL
View. Open the View menu again and select Search
Mode or Template Designer Mode.
- Enter SQL text representing the selection criteria and column definitions.
There might already be SQL text, representing any search criteria set
in the Simple View.
- Optionally, click Load (on the right
side of the window) to open a saved *.qry file from the network
which will replace any text already in the SQL text window.
- Optionally, click Save (on the right
side of the window) to save just the SQL text as a *.qry file in
a network location.
- Click OK to run the search. Any results will
appear under the Search Results node.
