InfoSphere Enterprise Records, Version 4.5.1.3+

Preparing to configure IBM InfoSphere Enterprise Records workflows

You must prepare the workflows using the Process Task Manager and Component Manager

To prepare to configure InfoSphere™ Enterprise Records workflows:
  1. Verify that the Process Engine is running.
  2. Verify that Application Engine or Workplace XT is running.
  3. Verify the creation of the Component Manager.
    1. From the Application Engine or Workplace XT server, launch the Process Task Manager by running the following command from AE_install_path/FileNet/AE/Router or WPXT_install_path/FileNet/WebClient/Router:
      UNIX®
      routercmd.sh
      Windows®
      routercmd.bat
    2. Verify that the Component Manager, which uses the Connection Point configured for Application Engine or Workplace XT and InfoSphere Enterprise Records is created.

To find out which connection point (if more than one is configured) is used by Application Engine or Workplace XT, see Connection Point under General Settings > Tasks on the Application Engine or Workplace XT Site Preferences page.

For more information on how to create a Connection Point under Component Managers:
