Configuring the object indexing process
Configure the operation of the subsystem dispatcher and the IBM® Content Search Services index server to optimize indexing performance or control system resources. The Content Engine subsystem dispatcher can use a significant amount of system resources for text filtering.
- Setting the server hierarchy level for the subsystem dispatcher
- Configure a subsystem dispatcher to operate at one of the following server hierarchy levels: domain, site, virtual server, or server.
- Working with server parameters
- View or modify the parameters of an IBM® Content Search Services server by using the command-line configuration tool.
- Working with search configuration properties
- Access the search configuration properties to control the behavior of the subsystem dispatcher and to configure time slots for index jobs.
