Publication document security defines who can:
The security that you specify on the Security to Apply tab is the security assigned to publication documents created using the publish template.
Publishing a document requires access to the following objects, each of which has its own security:
In addition, the user must have Publish rights to the source document.
When the publish template does not specify a style template, the user who publishes the document becomes the owner of the publication document.
When the publish template specifies a style template, the user who publishes the document becomes the owner of the publication document.
