Security view

You access Security information from a document pop-up menu. You can view or edit security settings if you have appropriate access.

To view security settings

  1. Right-click a document and click More Information > Security.
  2. Review the existing security settings.
  3. To add a new user or group, or to modify settings for a specific user or group, see Set security permissions.
  4. To remove an existing user or group, select the check box in the Remove column for the desired user or group.
  5. Save your changes and continue working in the information page.

NOTE  Anytime you modify values in a specific view, for example, Security, a modified icon appears next to the view name in the left of the page. If you exit the Information page without returning to each marked view to Apply your changes, your modifications will be lost.
