Author

You use the Author site preference to set the class that appears at the root of the class selection tree. Setting a default class provides the following benefits:

NOTE  This site preference affects class selection only when adding a document by using the Add Document action. You must set the Authoring page display site preference to Workplace XT for this setting to have an effect.

To set a starting class

  1. Click Change next to the site preference.
  2. Navigate to and select the desired class.
  3. Save your changes.

To remove a starting class

Click Restore next to the site preference to set the class back to the default setting.
