Specify the security templates
This page lists the security templates you plan to add to the new security
policy.
- Add
- Click Add to open the Add
Templates window. Select the check boxes of the versioning
templates named "Released", "Reservation", "In
Process", or "Superseded" if you plan to use these states in
your versioning model. The Add Templates window also lets you create application
security templates that can be applied by custom applications.
- Modify
- Select each security template you add and click Modify
to open that template's own property sheet which includes: a General tab where
you can select a Disabled check box if you need to disable the template; and
a Security page where you set the permissions that will be applied by this
template.
Make sure you do this for each template you added in the previous step. Security
templates are empty by default and do not contain permissions until you
add them.
- Remove
- Select any security template you want to remove and click Remove.
You can always add it later after the security policy is created and persisted
in the object store.
