After you upgrade and deploy your Application Engine instances, you can complete
additional configuration. Actions include modifying a configuration
file, verifying Workplace sign-in,
and establishing the Process Engine connection
point.
To complete post-upgrade Application Engine configuration:
- (WebLogic Server only) If you upgraded
from WebLogic Server 8.1 to WebLogic Server 9 or 10, you must set
the case-sensitivity for the server.
- From the WebLogic Server Administration
Console, click my_domain.
- Set Web App Files Case Insensitive to
false.
- Save and activate your changes.
- If it is not already running, start the Workplace application on your
application server.
- Sign in to Workplace to
test your connection.
- On any computer, open a browser and type: http://server_name:port#/Workplace
- Enter a user name and password, and click Sign
in.
- Set the Process Engine Connection
Point.
The Process Router from version 3.5 has been
replaced with the Application Engine Connection
Point.
- In Workplace click Admin.
- Click Site Preferences.
- Under , select a Process Engine Connection Point from
the drop down list.
- Click Apply and then Exit.
- Confirm that Application Engine is
communicating with Process Engine.
- In Workplace, click Tasks.
- Verify that the Tasks page displays.
- Sign out of Workplace.
