Asynchronous processing (FileNet P8 domain properties)
The Asynchronous Processing tab provides configuration information related to the events dispatcher.
- Configuration Source
- Indicates the domain object that these configuration parameters apply to and whether the current properties are inherited from another object.
- Enable Dispatcher
- Enables the dispatcher background task.
- Dispatcher Wait Interval
- The sleep time in seconds that the dispatcher will wait before checking for work. The default value is 180 seconds.
- Database Timeout
- The time in seconds before the database times out. The default value is 120 seconds.
- Max Worker Threads
- The maximum number of threads started by the dispatcher. The default value is 5. Valid values are 2 - 100.
- Retry Count
- The number of times a request is tried again before the dispatcher stops processing it. The default value is 7.
- Override inherited settings
- Overrides the inherited configuration settings. When you enable this option, you can click Copy Values to select an object to copy configuration settings from. This option is not available if there are no inherited configuration settings to override.
