Shortcuts view

The Shortcuts view provides quick access to your frequently used content. Only the shortcuts that you have created for your user name are displayed. Shortcuts appear in the left navigation sidebar and in the Shortcuts list.

Groups

There are four types of shortcut groups:

Browse
Search
Templates
Forms

In your shortcut user preferences, you can choose whether to display individual shortcuts or the group name. For example, if you always browse directly to one or two folders, you could set the Browse Shortcut Mode to Show Each Shortcut instead of Show Group. Once you have created shortcuts for those folders, you will see the folder names instead of the Browse group. In the future, you won't need to use Browse to locate those folders. Just select them from your shortcuts list.

See General Settings for more information about shortcuts preferences.

Path

The path displays navigation to the currently selected shortcuts. The first time you access the Shortcuts page during a browser session, the path displays "All Shortcuts." Once you have selected a shortcut view, it is added to the path.

For information on creating shortcuts, see Create a Shortcut.
