To be able to install future upgrades and fix packs, the
installer must access the install database for the current installed
version of InfoSphere™ Enterprise
Records. Make
sure the install database is accessible.
UNIX®
You must install future upgrades
or fix packs as the same user that initially installed
IBM® InfoSphere Enterprise Records. The installer database
is placed in the installing user's home directory.
Restriction: If you use a different user or delete the database,
the installer cannot detect the existing software on your server and
the upgrade or fix pack install fails.
The default location
of this directory is:
User_home/InstallShield/Universal/FileNet/RM
Windows®
Make sure that you do not
delete the install database for
InfoSphere Enterprise
Records from
the
InstallShield directory.
Restriction: If
you delete the database, the installer cannot detect the existing
software on your server and the upgrade or fix pack install fails.
