Content Engine supports content-based retrieval (CBR) in many languages. By default, the following locales are installed with the Autonomy K2 software:
To support searches in other supported languages, you must run the Verity Locales installation program. See (optional) Installing additional locales for complete instructions.
To specify the CBR language
NOTE A default search locale can be set on the uni locale by specifying a two character language code when setting the CBR locale, for example, uni/en for English or uni/fr for French. The full list is in Table A-3 in the Verity Locale Configuration Guide > Locales, Character Sets and Languages > Supported Language Codes. The default search locale for uni allows for language-specific querying to be performed by default. To specify a different search locale, or if no default search locale is set, the Verity Query Language <LAND/id> operator, where id is the two character language code, can be used in a CBR query.
See Object store (CBR tab) for more information about the properties on the CBR tab.
