Edit Authoring portlet
You can customize the Authoring portlet in a site My Workplace page to display the
Author tools that your end users most frequently need. Note that your
settings for access roles can limit which tools an end user can access.
You can choose from these default tools:
- Add Document
- Add Document from Template
- Check In Document
- Cancel Checkout
- Add Folder
- Add Folder from Template
- User Preferences
- Site Preferences (only displayed for members of the Application Engine
Administrators group)
To change the tools displayed for Authoring Tools
- From the Pages view of My Workplace in Site Preferences, click Preview
and Setup beneath the name of the appropriate page.
- Click
Edit in the Authoring portlet toolbar.
- Select or clear the check box for each tool that you want to display or hide.
- Save your changes.
- Close the Preview and
Setup page and exit when you are finished setting site preferences.
