Bookmark a search template

The Search Bookmark page provides a way for you to add a search template to your browser's list of favorites or bookmarks for quick access. You can use your Browser's Bookmark or Favorites command to return to the bookmark page.

The Search Bookmark page looks a little different than the usual Search page, but you can still perform the same actions as in the Search. There are no Views listed on the left side of the page. However, you can still use the command buttons at the top of the page. Once the search results are displayed, you can also click a document name to open the document, or click the Information Icon to open the information page. The Search and Restore Defaults buttons are also available to run the search or clear the search criteria.

To add a search to your list of favorites

  1. Navigate to the search in Search.
  2. Click Bookmark.
  3. From your browser's menu bar, select the appropriate menu (Favorites, Bookmarks, etc.), and follow the browser's instructions for adding a bookmark or favorite.
  4. After bookmarking the page, you can close it.

To execute a search from the bookmark page

  1. If necessary, log in.
  2. Edit the search criteria (conditions). For example, enter a value (text) to search for.
  3. Click Search. The results are displayed.
  4. If the search criteria are hidden and you want to modify them, click Show Search Criteria.
  5. To clear the search criteria and restore the template default settings, click Restore Defaults.
