Disable or enable a security template
Disabling a security template stops it from applying its permissions to the documents, folders, and custom objects that it is associated with. The template remains in the security policy and can be re-enabled later.
To disable or enable a security template in an existing
security policy
- In Enterprise Manager, select the Security Policies node.
- Right-click the security policy whose security template you want to disable
or enable and select Properties from the
menu.
- In the General tab's list of security templates, select the security template
and click Modify. The template's own property
sheet appears.
- In the General tab, select the Disabled check box
to disable the template. Clear the check box to enable it.
- Click OK.
You will return to the General
tab of the security policy. In the Disabled column of the list of security
templates, you will see "True" if the template is disabled, and
"False" if the template is enabled.
