FileNet P8 domain properties (Verity Domain Configurations tab)
The Verity Domain Configurations tab provides information about the Autonomy K2 (formerly Verity) domain used
in the FileNet P8 domain. You can configure multiple Verity domain objects for a
FileNet P8 domain. You can create a new configuration if one does not already exist, or you can modify or delete an existing configuration if it is not in use.
Verity Domain Configuration properties page Master Admin Info tab
- Display name
- The name of the Verity Domain.
- Hostname
- The Verity Master Administration server used to create Verity
collections. This Content Engine
server contacts the master administration server for all requests to create a Verity collection.
- User Domain
- The Windows domain in which the Autonomy K2 services are running. Content Engine uses the user domain together with the Verity user name and password to log on to the Autonomy K2 server for indexing
and search operations.
- User Group
- The group name that owns any Verity collections created for full
text indexing. Only group members can access Verity collections.
Enter the <K2_Security_Group> value created during
FileNet P8 Platform installation. For more information about Verity users and groups,
see Creating IBM Legacy Content Search Engine accounts or IBM Legacy Content Search Engine security group..
- Verity Username and Password
- A directory service user account and password used by Content Engine to connect to the Autonomy K2 server. Use the <K2_Security_User> value created during FileNet P8
Platform installation. For more information about required Autonomy users and groups, see "Accounts for Content Search Engine" in Creating Content Search Engine accounts or K2 security group account (Content Engine/Autonomy K2).
- Port
- The Verity Master Administration server port.
- Search Servers
- The names of all Verity search servers
associated with the Verity Administration server.
- Index Servers
- The names of all Verity index servers associated
with the Verity Administration server.
Options tab
- Optimization Interval (Batches)
- Default is 32 batches.
- Maximum Batch Size
- Default is 1000.
- Maximum Objects Per Collection
- Default is 2000000.
- Lease Duration (Seconds)
- Default is 14400.
To create a Verity domain configuration
- From Enterprise Manager, open the FileNet P8 Domain Properties tab.
- Select the Verity Domains Configurations tab. Click Create. The Create a Verity Domain Configuration Wizard opens.
- In the Verity Domain Display Name tab, enter the Verity Domain Display name. Click Next.
- From the Specify Verity Master Admin Server Information window, enter the required information. Click Next.
- In the Specify the Performance Tuning Parameters window, enter the required information. Click Next
- Review the information you have entered and then click Finish.
