Use the WebLogic Server 9
or 10 Administrative Console to deploy IBM® InfoSphere™ Enterprise Records by selecting, the records_manager.war file,
or the records_manager.ear file.
To deploy the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records web
application:
- From the WebLogic Server Administration
Console, navigate to the domain used by Workplace XT.
- In the Change Center, click Lock & Edit.
- Click Deployments.
- From the right pane of the WebLogic Server Administration Console,
click Install, and then do one of the following
options:
- To deploy from an exploded folder, select the following path: RM_install_path/FileNet/RM/RecordsManager
- To deploy from a WAR file, browse to and select the option
button for the following file: RM_install_path/FileNet/RM/deploy/records_manager.war
- To deploy from an EAR file, browse to and select the option
button for the following file: RM_install_path/FileNet/RM/deploy/records_manager.ear
- Click Next.
- Verify that Install this deployment as an application is
selected and click Next.
- Accept the defaults for the deployment, except for the
name for the deployment. Use RecordsManager instead
of deploy.
- Click Finish.
- Click Activate Changes.
- After the InfoSphere Enterprise
Records Web
Application is deployed, start the application:
- Under your_domain, navigate to
Deployments and select the box next to RecordsManager.
- Click Start, and then select Servicing
all requests.
- Click Yes to agree to start the
application.
Tip: To verify that the deployment
was successful, expand Deployments. The web
application RecordsManager is Active.
