Create a connection
The FileNet P8 connection you create contains the information
required to access the IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine and specifies the object stores to which SharePoint documents are transferred. With a connector, you can assign access rights to users, allowing them to add or modify system properties and process all of the documents. The default values for SharePoint and FileNet P8 connectors are already configured and you need to create a FileNet P8 connection.
To create a new FileNet P8 connection
- Open the Configuration Manager.
- Under Navigation, click Connectors.
- Select the P8 4.x Connections tab.
- Click New Connection and enter the connection information:
- Enter a name for the new connection
