This command displays a process's virtual memory map on a Windows-based Process Engine (PE) server. You can use this information to identify DLLs loading into the memory area that FileNet Image Services (IS) uses for shared memory allocation. This command also displays the starting address of the largest free block of memory. You can use the starting address as instructed by your service representative to change where IS allocates shared memory.
The difference between this command and the processworkingset command is that processmap shows the layout of virtual memory, independent of whether the memory is currently resident in RAM, while processworkingset shows only those pages that are physically resident in RAM.
Syntax
processmap <process_id>
Parameters
process_id |
The ID of a process running on the PE server. If left blank, it defaults to the process ID for the current vwtool process. TIP Use the Processes tab on the Windows Task Manager to determine the process ID (PID). |
