Define security roles
Select each role and assign the appropriate user or group accounts.
- Security Role
- For each security role name that appears in this column, select a role name
and click Add. This launches the Select Users
and Groups dialog box which can be used to find the user and/or group accounts
to assign to the role.
After finding the appropriate accounts, select the accounts, click OK,
and the accounts will appear in the Participants for the selected role
column. One or more accounts may be selected.
Click Add again to further modify the list
of accounts to be assigned to the currently selected role name.
- Participants for the selected role
- This column displays the accounts to be assigned to the currently selected
role name in the Security Role column. To delete a particular account
from the list of accounts to be assigned, select an account name in this column
and click Remove. More than one account name
may be selected for removal.
Click Finish to complete the wizard. The Enterprise
Manager will act on the security assignments you have just specified and add
the users and/or groups to the classes and objects, along with the specified
permissions, according to the role definitions in the VBS security script
file.
