Check out document
To checkout a document using Enterprise Manager
- Right-click the document and select Collaborative Check
Out or Exclusive Check Out (default).
- If the document has content, use the Windows Open
dialog box to select a network location and click Open.
You will be asked if you want to edit the file.
- If you click Yes, you can edit the file
only if the local machine has a properly installed application appropriate
to the content element's Mime Type. When the editing session is over, the
document object will appear in Enterprise Manager as checked out.
NOTE You
can check out only the most recent version of a document. Checking out
earlier versions is not supported.
NOTE You can also check out a document from the General tab of the document's Properties sheet using the Actions >> button.
