Change content cache area status

Each content cache area status is either online (available for content caching) or offline (unavailable for content caching). You can also set the status to clearing (removing all content cache elements). Once the clearing is complete, Content Engine (CE) returns the content cache area to its previous status.

Enterprise Manager identifies the current status of each content cache area through the details pane. See View content cache area status for more information.

You can enable or disable a content cache area through the content cache area details pane, available through the site's Content Cache Areas node in Enterprise Manager.
