FileNet P8 domain properties (Server Cache tab)
The Server Cache tab provides configuration information related to the selected object's server cache.
- GCD Cache TTL
- Time-To-Live (in seconds) for the Global Configuration Data (GCD)
cache, with minimum value of 5, a default value of 30, and an upper limit of 3600.
- Code Module Cache Entry TTL
- Time-To-Live (in seconds) for entries in the code module cache, with minimum value of 300, a default value of 86400, and an upper limit of 259200.
- Maximum Code Module Cache Memory
- Maximum memory to allocate for code module cache entries, with minimum value of 2, a default value of 10, and an upper limit of 30.
- Maximum Code Module Cache File Space
- Maximum file space to allocate for code module cache entries that overflow from
memory to disk, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 1024, and an upper limit of 1024*10.
- Maximum Marking Set Cache Entries
- Maximum number of entries allowed in the marking set cache, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 8192, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- Marking Set Cache Entry TTL

- Time-To-Live (in milliseconds) for entries in the marking set cache , with minimum value of 0, a default value of 600, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- Maximum User Token Cache Entries
- Maximum number of entries allowed in the user token cache, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 8192, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- User Token Cache Entry TTL
- Time-To-Live (in seconds) for entries in the user token cache, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 600, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- Maximum Subject Cache Entries
- Maximum number of entries allowed in the subject cache, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 8192, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- Subject Cache Entry TTL
- Time-To-Live (in seconds) for entries in the subject cache, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 600, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- Maximum Metadata Merged Scope Cache Entries
- The maximum number of metadata merged scope caches that will be retained in memory, with minimum value of 0, a default value of 20, and an upper limit of 2,147,483,647.
- Override inherited settings
- If selected, enables the inherited settings for the server cache to be changed.
- Copy Values
- Select to copy the server cache area settings from object that has already been configured. If the selected object inherits its settings from another object, that parent object's settings will be used.
