Use Process Configuration Console to specify UDDI registries that will be available to the workflow author in the current isolated region. These entries provide a limited list of registries for the workflow author to search for Web services to invoke. These entries also define the registries where workflows can be published as Web services.
To specify an entry in the UDDI Registry list
On the Web Services tab, select the UDDI tab and select the UDDI Registry List tab.
Column | Parameter Description |
---|---|
Name |
Enter a name for the registry. This name will display for workflow authors in the list of available UDDI registries for partner links, and for administrators as available UDDI registries for publishing web services. The name must be unique for this region. TIP If this entry includes a Publish URL and you publish a business entity to this registry, the name identifies the combination of the UDDI registry and business entity. You can define multiple business entities (each with multiple web services) for the same UDDI registry (same Publish URL), but each is a separate entry in this list. |
Inquiry URL |
Specify the URL for inquiries for the registry. |
![]() |
Select the Publish checkbox to enable publishing to the UDDI registry specified by the Publish URL. TIP When this option is enabled, if you publish business information for a workflow (web service) to an existing business entity, you can overwrite the previously published information. To protect existing published web service for the selected business entity, you can disable this Publish option. (This applies only to the current isolated region.) Use Publish to UDDI on the Action menu to publish business entity information and workflows (web services) to the registry. See Publish to UDDI. |
Publish URL |
If you enabled publishing to this registry, specify the URL for publishing to the registry. |
Business name |
For the purpose of publishing web services to the UDDI registry, you can optionally specify a name that identifies the business entity for this entry. If this field is blank when you publish, you enter the business name and description at that time. |
TIP You can also enter descriptions in multiple languages, as well as contact information, including addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. See Publish business information for more information.
The actual validity of the URLs will be confirmed when the workflow author specifies a Partner Link to invoke a web service, or when you try to publish to the UDDI registry.
Click Commit on the toolbar to apply the changes to your isolated region.
The option Enable Process Designer to enter WSDL links without browsing for Web Services applies to both WSRR and UDDI.
