Annotation content type and source

This page appears only if you choose Create an object with one or more content elements in the previous page. You can add one or many content elements in this page.

File Name
Type a complete path name, or if you use the Browse/Add button you can browse the network. If you select a file and click Open that file will be added to the list of content elements. If you edit the file name before clicking Open, that value will be used in the Name field described below.
Browse/Add
Click Browse/Add to browse the network in order to add the content element whose path and file name appears in the File Name box.

You can use Browse/Add to add as many content elements as needed.

Reference
Select the check box if you want a reference to the listed file stored as the content element.

Clear the check box if you want the listed file stored as the content element.

MimeType
This field reflects the content element's MIME type if the operating system on the machine can determine what the MimeType is. Field will be blank if MimeType cannot be determined. Use the edit box below if you want to edit the default entry for MIME type. See About MIME types for more information.
Name
This read-only field contains the file name of the content element.
Source
This read-only field displays the full path description of the original source location of the content element.
Change MIME type
Use this box to edit the default MIME type of the selected content element. After selecting the content element, click the Change MIME type button to open a dialog box that will let you set the MIME type which will then appear in the MimeType field.
Document MIME Type
Use this edit box to set a MIME type value for the document object itself that will be different from the individual content element MIME types. (Remember that a particular document version can have many content elements each of which can have their own individual MIME types.) If you do not set this value, then a value will be automatically generated, using the MIME type of the first content element. After checkin, you can view this on the object's Properties tab, as the value of the MimeType property name.
Create
Click Create if you want to skip the next screens of the wizard and base the annotation on the root annotation class, and store it in the default content storage area.
