FileNet P8 domain properties (Asynchronous Processing tab)
The Asynchronous Processing tab provides configuration information related to the events dispatcher.
- Configuration Source
- Indicates the scope level (domain object) for which these configuration parameters apply. This field may also indicate whether or not the current asynchronous processing information is inherited from another object or are local settings for this object.
- Database Timeout
- The time in seconds before database timeout. Default value is 120.
- Dispatcher Wait Interval
- The sleep time in seconds that the dispatcher will wait before checking for work. Default value is 180.
- Max Dispatchers
- The max number of executors launched by the dispatcher. Default value is 5. The minimum number is 2 and the maximum is 100.
- Retry Count
- The number of times a request is retried before the dispatcher stops processing it. Default value is 7.
- Dispatcher Enabled
- Select TRUE or FALSE from the drop-down list to enable or disable the dispatcher background task.
- Override inherited settings
- If available, select the checkbox to override the inherited asynchronous processing configuration settings. When selected, the Copy Values button is enabled for use in overriding the inherited settings.
- Copy Values
- Click Copy Values to open a dialog box and select an object from which to copy asynchronous processing configuration settings. The Copy Values button remains disabled and grayed out until the user selects the Override inherited settings check box.
