Enable UDDI repository for the isolated region

If you will create workflows that provide web services, and you want to make them accessible to other processes including FileNet workflows in other isolated regions, you can enable a browsable UDDI repository in the current isolated region. In the region UDDI repository, you can specify business entity and contact information for the web services in that isolated region.

External processes and FileNet workflows in other isolated regions can access the region UDDI repository using the following syntax for the Inquiry URL in the UDDI Registry list:

http://servername:port/Workplace/P8BPMWSBroker/uddiv2/inquire

where servername and port refer to the Application Engine server that provides access to the Process applications using the current isolated region.

To enable the current isolated region as a UDDI repository

  1. In Process Configuration Console, select the isolated region you wish to modify, and click Properties on the toolbar.
  2. On the Web Services tab, select the UDDI tab.
  3. On the Region Business Entity tab, select Enable isolated region as UDDI repository.

To specify business entity information

  1. Enter the following general information about the business:
  2. Under Business contacts, define one or more contacts who can provide information about the business or service.
Click Add, and enter the information directly in the table.
  3. Use the Up and Down arrows to specify the order of the contact entries.

(Note that some UDDI registries will display only the first entry.)

  4. To enter additional business contact information, such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, click Advanced. See UDDI Business Contacts for additional information.
