Vendor and configuration parameters (IBM TSM / DR550)

This help topic describes IBM TSM / DR550 configuration parameters.

Type
The drop-down list displays those fixed content device providers certified for the present release.
Vendor
This read only field displays the fixed content device provider vendor's name.
Test Connection
When you click the Test Connection button, Enterprise Manager tries to log onto the fixed content product using the parameters entered on this page (described below). It then displays a success or failure message.

Configuration Parameters (IBM TSM / DR550)

Attribute Name Attribute Value
ConfigurationFilesShare Full path to the device configuration file root directory. Content Engine Servers group must have read/write access to the directory.

NOTE  The directory must exist or be created manually prior to creating the fixed content device. Enterprise Manager will not automatically create the directory. The default value is the SYSINIT shared directory.
ConfigurationFileName The name of the configuration file (relative to the ConfigurationFilesShare) for the IBM TSM / DR550 device. For example, 'DR550.opt'.
LogFilesShare Full path to the device error log files root directory. Content Engine Servers group must have read/write access to the directory.

IP Address Enter the IP address of the fixed content device, expressed in dotted quad format (decimal values of its 4 bytes separated by periods). For example, 127.0.0.1.
Port Enter the server port for the fixed content device. The default value is 1500.
ArchiveProtectionFlag Enables data retention protection for archived objects. The default value is YES.
CompressionFlag Determines whether or not to compress objects. The default value is ON.
NodeName Enter the TSM client node name.

NOTE  The node name must exist or be created manually prior to creating the fixed content device. Enterprise Manager will not automatically create the node name.
Password Enter the password for the TSM node.
Confirm Password Confirm the TSM node password.
OwnerName Enter the TSM owner name.

NOTE  The owner name must exist or be created manually prior to creating the fixed content device. Enterprise Manager will not automatically create the owner name. The default value is FileNetP8-000.
Filespace Enter the TSM file space name. The file space name is unique within a node.
Application Type Enter the application type. The default value is FileNetP8.
Options (Optional) Enter the configuration options string. This string overrides settings in the configuration files.
