Define UDDI business contacts
For business entities, you can enter contact information consisting of addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, along with text describing the contact.
To enter information about a contact associated with a business entity
- While you are defining the contact persons or groups for a business entity, click Advanced to access the expanded business contact information.

- If you have already entered a business contact name and type, they display in the Business Contact dialog box. You can modify them, if you wish.
- Name: Enter the name of the contact.
- Type: Enter the job title, job function, or other short text to identify the contact.
- On the Description tab, click Add on the Descriptions toolbar to enter descriptive information about the contact.

Enter information about the contact.
To enter more than one line of text, click Edit and enter the text in the Edit Description dialog box. Note that multiple lines will display as one line in the registry.
- Select the language for the description.
When the business contact information is displayed in a UDDI application, the description will display in the language set for the inquiring computer. Note that some UDDI applications display only the default (first) entry.
You can optionally add descriptions in other languages.
NOTE You can define only one description per language.
Use the Up and Down arrow buttons on the Descriptions toolbar to re-order the entries.
Use Delete to remove the selected description.
- On the Address tab, click Add on the Address toolbar to enter one or more addresses for the contact.
- On the Phone tab, click Add on the Phone numbers toolbar to enter one or more phone numbers for the contact.
- Phone: Enter a phone number.
- Type: Enter a description of the phone number, such as 'office', 'cell phone 1', and so on.
- On the Email tab, click Add on the Email addresses toolbar, to enter one or more email addresses for the contact.
- Email: Enter the address, such as bbaker@filenet.com
- Type: Enter a description of the email address.
