About republish instructions

When a source document changes, you will usually want to update one or more of the associated publication documents. This task is called republishing.

You can republish versionable and non-versionable documents. The document class assigned to a publication document determines if the document is versionable or non-versionable.

Each time you check in a versionable document, a new version is added. You check in a non-versionable publication document once, when you create it, and you cannot check it out. You cannot change a publication document created as a non-versionable document to a versionable document, or vice-versa.
