Display a map

Use the Go to Map dialog box to choose the workflow map you want to display.

To display a map

  1. From the Action menu, select Go to Map.
  2. From the drop-down list, select the type of listing.

    All Maps: Lists all maps: the Workflow Main Map, submaps, and system maps, including any inherited maps. See About system maps for additional information.

    Writeable Maps: Lists all maps that can be modified. This can include system maps and inherited maps that are overridden in the current workflow.

    Read Only Inherited Maps: Lists maps that are read only in the current workflow including system maps and maps inherited from a base workflow.

    Caller Maps of Current Map: Lists all maps with a step that calls the map that is currently displayed.

  3. Select the map to display.

Another way to select a workflow map to display

Select the map you want from the list of maps on the Map toolbar.

The following image shows the maps present in a workflow definition. A system map icon indicates the three system maps. Two submaps are inherited from a base workflow and they are read only. Only the Workflow map and the Review submap are writeable in the current workflow.

TIP To display the main map of a different workflow in the workflow collection, click Edit Workflow on the View menu and choose a workflow.
