Configure Process Engine email notification
Use the Notification tab to configure Process Engine (PE) email notification. In addition to configuring email notification, you must add at least one language pack.

The Notification tab includes these fields:
Name | Description |

SMTP Host |
The complete host name for an SMTP server on the network running the
SMTP Service on the port specified by the SMTP Port parameter below. The
SMTP server can be a PE server or another server on your network. smtp_host_name |
SMTP Port |
The port on which the SMTP Service is running. The default value is 25. |
Character Set
|
The character set to use in encoding the email message. The default is ISO-8859-1. If you change this value, you must turn on Encode From Field below. |
Email Logon ID |
The name used for the account you want PE to use to log on to the mail server application. You must use ASCII characters only. Example: workflow@host.com |
Email Logon Password | The password associated with the Email Logon ID entered above. |
Email From ID |
The name you want to appear in the From field on the email notifications. You may use extended ASCII characters. |
Encode From Field |
Indicates whether to encode the contents of Email From ID.
Set to On if Email From ID contains extended ASCII characters. Off is the default. |
