Select the processing parameters of the content cache area
Configure the pruning thresholds, content lifespan, and preload setting for the content cache area.
- Threshold Size
- Identifies the total size of content elements in the cache when pruning will begin. By default, this is set to 90% of the maximum size configured in the previous screen.
To change the existing size, type in the desired value in kilobytes.
- Threshold Elements
- Identifies the total number of content elements in the cache when pruning will begin. By default, this is set to 90% of the maximum number of elements configured in the previous screen. To change the existing size, type in the desired value in kilobytes.
- When a threshold is reached, prune cache by
- Identifies a percentage of elements and/or size to prune from the cache when a threshold is reached. The default value is 20%.
- Preload Content when created
- Select to preload content into the cache when the content is created.
- Content Lifespan
- Identifies the maximum amount of time a content element remains in the cache without being accessed. Content Engine uses the last modified time of the content element file, and based on this, removes files older than this time during pruning or as part of periodic sweeps of the content cache area. The default value is 14 days.
- Create
- Click the button to create the content cache area, bypassing the remaining wizard screens.
