Enable a UDDI repository for the isolated region
You can enable a browsable UDDI repository in the current isolated region that contains FileNet workflows that provide a web service—workflows that contain a Receive system function. This UDDI repository makes these web services accessible to other processes including FileNet workflows in other isolated regions. In the region UDDI repository, you can specify a business entity and contact information for the web services in that isolated region.
To enable the current isolated region as a UDDI repository
- Select the isolated region, click Properties on the toolbar.
- On the Web Services tab, select the UDDI tab.
- On the Region Business Entity tab, select Enable isolated region as UDDI repository.
NOTE External processes and FileNet workflows in other isolated regions can access the region UDDI repository using the Inquiry URL.
To specify business entity information
- Enter the following general information about the business:
- Under Business contacts, define one or more contacts who can provide information about the business or service. (Optional)
Click Add and enter the information directly in the table.
- Name: Enter the name of a contact person.
- Type: Enter a category, such as Services Manager.
- Description: Enter additional descriptive information.
- Use the Up and Down arrows to move entries up and down in the list.
- To enter additional business contact information, such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, click Advanced. You can enter one description for each language. See Define UDDI business contacts for more information.
- Click Commit Changes on the toolbar to apply this change to your isolated region. See Commit changes for additional information.
TIP You can copy contact information in the region UDDI repository to business information that you publish to a UDDI registry.
