Use this option to define custom web applications and to specify the server base URL for web applications for the VWService. You can also specify one of the web applications as the default that email notifications refer to, and define the launch and step processor URL templates for each web application.
The system uses this information to determine:
TIP You can override the VWService-wide web application properties for a specific isolated region. See Set web application properties for an isolated region for more information.
To add a custom web application
The ID for a custom web application must be a number between 100 and 999, inclusive.

NOTE Include the port number as appropriate for your web server.
You must restart the PE software on all PE servers to make the changes take effect. Use Process Task Manager to restart the software.
To modify or delete a custom web application
To delete the custom web application, click Delete .

To specify the URL template for a web application
On the Web Applications tab, click Advanced to display the URL Templates dialog box.
To set the default web application for the VWService
Select one of the web applications from the Default web application drop-down list. For custom web applications, you must enter the ID of the application.
