Name and Describe the Lifecycle Action
Use this dialog box to name and describe the lifecycle action you are
creating. The name appears in a selection list when you're selecting a
lifecycle action while defining a document lifecycle policy.
- Name
- Enter a name that is unique within the specified object store. The
name is required and must start with a letter. The lifecycle action
name can contain up to 64 characters (upper or lowercase letters, numbers,
spaces, and symbols).
- Description
- Use the description to explain any requirements of the document lifecycle
action or any other information you find useful. The name and description
may display in reports or through administrative tools.
The description is optional and can contain up to 255 characters.
- Existing Names
- This window identifies the names of existing lifecycle actions within
the specified object store. It can remind you of naming conventions
or help you choose a unique name. This list box is not selectable.
