Add groups to choice list
Use the Add Groups screen to add or remove
a hierarchical grouping of choice list elements. This screen opens after
you click the New Groups button when you're
creating a choice list or reviewing the properties for an existing choice
list.
To create a hierarchical grouping of choice list
elements
- Enter the name for your group in the Display
Name field.
- Click Add to add the group
to the list of groups.
- Continue adding groups in this way until your list is complete, then
Click OK to accept the list
and return to the wizard.
NOTE
You can also create subgroups within groups, but you cannot create a choice
list within a choice list.
To remove a group from
a choice list
- Select the group you want to remove. (You cannot select multiple
groups.)
- Click Remove. This removes
the selected group from the choice list.
CAUTION
Removing a group deletes all elements within that group.
The following paragraphs describe the fields available on this screen.
- Add Group(s) to
- Displays the name of the choice list.
- Display Name
- Enter the name of the group you want to add to the selected choice list.
- Name
- This field lists all groups already added to the choice list.
