To set preferences for FileNet Deployment Manager:
Preference | Description |

Prompt for deployment tree on startup | Clear this check box to stop the display of the Select Deployment Tree Location wizard each time you start FileNet Deployment Manager.
NOTE You can also stop the display of the wizard by selecting the Use this as the default check box in the wizard. |
Allow passwords to be saved to disk | Select this check box to enable the password to be saved in the environment definition files.

Help File Location | To access to the FileNet P8 Platform Help from this interface, enter the location where the help resides. For more information, see Set the help location. |
If the FileNet P8 Platform Help resides on a web server, enter the file path as follows:

is the name assigned to a new folder created while installing FileNet P8 documentationFor example, assume that you installed the FileNet P8 Platform Help on a server named corpweb that is configured as a Web server with port 8080 and that you used C:\Program Files\FileNet as the home folder (under which the \ecm_help folder resides). In this case, you would enter:

If the help is installed on a local drive, enter the file path as follows:
