These steps provide the functionality of the system functions of the same names. The Properties pane displays the following for the selected Web Services step.

Name |
The name of the step. To display the properties of a different step, select it from the list. A symbol indicates steps that are in progress. |
Occurrence | How many times this step has executed. |
Description |
Information about the step provided by the author of the workflow. |

View the name of the function: Invoke, Receive, or Reply |

General | For Invoke, Receive, and Reply, view the name of the Partner Link and the Operation. For Invoke, view the outgoing parameters (data passed to the invoked Web Service) and incoming parameters (data returned to the step from a Reply function). For Receive, view the operation parameters—required input. For Reply, view the reply message to be passed to the invoking process. |

Advanced | For Invoke and Receive, view any timeout specification and submap to provide processing in the event that the time expires. |

Faults | For Invoke, view the name of the XML data field to hold fault message, and submap to provide processing in the event of a specific fault or other non-specified faults. | |
Correlation Set | For Receive, view the name of the parameter that contains the correlation data, and the correlation expression. | |
Routing |
View conditions (if any) for routing to the next steps. |
