Delete IS mapping prior to deleting the object store
This topic describes how to delete Image Services class and property mapping
information, from both the IS system and the Content Engine, prior to deleting
the object store. For more details, see FileNet
P8 Content Federation Services for Image Services Planning and Configuration Guide.
Deleting an object store that has been configured for IS class and property
mapping does not delete the object store from the IS domain. IS
still contains the mapping information, and IS continues to attempt to export mapped document catalog entries. Administrators
must properly dispose of the mapping data on IS before deleting the
object store.
To delete IS mapping prior to deleting the object store
- On the IS system, remove the default document class mapping by using the
CFS Connector - IS Catalog Export Tool on a Remote Admin Console (RAC):
- On the Default Document Class Mappings tab, select the IS Doc Class
in the Default Mappings pane that is mapped to the object store you want
to delete.
- Click the Remove Map button.
- Log on to Enterprise Manager and then to the object store as the object
store administrator of that object store.
- Right-click the object store, select Properties,
and go to the Image Services tab.
- Select the current class mappings
associated with the fixed content device you are removing and click Remove.
- If prompted, restart the
FileNet CFS Server for Image Services.
- Delete the object store. For instructions about deleting an object store, see Delete an object
store.
