Specify advanced criteria

Use the Specify Index Values dialog box to restrict the search results by entering a Min and Max range for each field contained in the selected index.

The Min and Max values in the index fields are not evaluated separately.

Select or clear the Inclusive checkbox indicate whether to include results that exactly match your minimum or maximum values.

In this row... checking Inclusive is equivalent to... not checking Inclusive is equivalent to...
Min is greater than or equal is greater than
Max is less than or equal is less than

Example

Use Min and Max values to find all active (not completed) workflows lauched between two dates. Use the following steps to set up this example.

  1. In Process Configuration Console, if a suitable index does not exist, define an index for the F_StartTime value. F_StartTime is the date and time that a process was launched.

    For this example,

  2. In Process Administrator, in the Search pane, use the following step to check for active workflows so that you know what to expect:
    Look for: Workflows
    In: Workflow Roster

    Click Find Now to display all active workflows.

  3. For this example (adjust the dates for the active workflow in your system):
    Look for: Workflows
    In: Workflow Rosters
    Use index StartDate
  4. Click Advanced.
