FileNet P8 domain properties (CFS Import Agent tab)
The CFS Import Agent tab provides configuration information for the CFS document import agent.
CAUTION Do not modify any values unless an IBM support representative specifically instructs you to do so. Improper modification of a value could adversely affect system perfomance and functionality.
- Configuration Source
- Indicates the domain object for which these configuration parameters apply. This field could also indicate whether the current CFS Import Agent tab information is inherited from another object.
- Enable Dispatcher
- Select/clear this checkbox to enable/disable the dispatcher for this service.
- Dispatcher Wait Interval
- The number of seconds the dispatcher waits before looking for work. Valid settings range from 5 to 600 seconds.
- Lease Duration
- The maximum interval, in seconds, allowed for a worker to process a batch before the the system assigns the batch to another worker. This interval ensures that any abnormal termination of the worker previously assigned to the batch does not prevent batch completion.
- Maximum Number of Worker Threads
- Number of import agent threads on each CE server (valid range 1 - 5).
- Batch Selection Size
- The maximum number of batches that are selected by the import agent dispatcher from the database in a single database round trip.
- Maximum in Memory Items
-
This value, in combination With the MaxWorkerThreads parameter, this value establishes a threshold that prevents the system from inserting additional batches of federation requests in the in-memory pre-fetch queue. The number of items in the queue is reduced as batches of work are dispatched to worker threads. When the number of batches in the queue falls below the threshold, the system resumes the addition of new batches from the database queue.
- Override inherited settings
- If available, select the checkbox to override the inherited import agent configuration settings. When selected, the Copy Values button is enabled for use in overriding the inherited settings.
- Copy Values
- Click Copy Values to open a dialog box and select an object from which to copy import agent configuration settings. The Copy Values button remains disabled and grayed out until the user selects the Override inherited settings check box.
