Activity step - rules

When business rules are used in a workflow, you can assign appropriate rule sets to an activity step. See About rules for additional information.

To specify rules for an activity step

  1. Select the appropriate activity step, then click the Rules tab in the Properties pane.
  2. On the Rules tab, specify the Type—when the rule will execute at runtime.
  3. On the Rule Sets bar, click Add.
  4. In the Rule Set Selection dialog, select one or more rule sets for this step. See Rule set selection for additional information.
