Export isolated region configuration to XML

To copy the configuration setting from one isolated region to another, you can export the isolated region settings and, optionally, Process Engine (PE) system properties and user information, to an XML file, and import them to a different isolated region. The exported file contains region-wide properties, such as specified web applications, step processor settings, event logging options, and all queue, roster, and log definitions including exposed fields and index settings.

You can export all components in the isolated region, or you can export specific queues, rosters, event logs, and application spaces.

You can also use this functionality to backup and restore the isolated region settings.

To export isolated region properties

  1. In Process Configuration Console, select the isolated region to export. The region must be initialized.
  2. From the Action menu, select Export to XML.
  3. In the Export dialog box, click Browse and specify a filename and location on your local drive or network for the exported data.
