Administrative tools

The following table describes the tools available to you as a Process Engine (PE) administrator.

Tool Description
Process Administrator Allows you to manage work in progress, which includes tracking the status of and potentially making modifications to running workflows.
Process Configuration Console Provides the tools to create and modify the workflow database structures, and provides you with management tools to configure event logging and statistics collection, and to set performance parameters.
Process Task Manager Provides the tools to manage the PE, Application Engine, and Simulation Engine processes and to configure PE and Process Analyzer (PA).
database views Creates database views for all local queues, rosters, and event logs, so that you can perform queries outside of the scope of this system using standard database query tools.
vwlog Provides the tools to coalesce statistics, move log records, and purge log data from the PE database.
vwmsg Provides a way to view or delete unclaimed web services messages.
vwtool Provides a PE-based, command line-driven system support and administration program you can use to analyze and modify various components of the PE system.
vwverify Provides a method to verify the workflow database.
