You can add either JScript or VBScript files to run at various points during the import process. This feature is available for both manual and automatic imports.
You can either create your own scripts or use any or all of the sample scripts FileNet provides with your product.
FileNet installs sample VBScript files under the following file path:
<drive>
:Program Files/FileNet/Content
Engine/Scripts/Component Library
NOTE When using a sample script, save a copy to the User Scripts folder and modify it for your production environment.
The Scripts tab provides a Browse/Add button that enables you to navigate to the folder that contains the user-defined script files. By default, the system looks for user scripts under the following file path:
<drive>
:Program Files/FileNet/Content
Engine/Scripts/User Scripts
TIP To make it easier to find your user-defined scripts, save them in this default user scripts folder.
The following topics provide helper script functions and a deployment scenario that applies the sample VBScript files.
