Create Association Properties Wizard

Association properties define a relationship between two objects. For example, in an association between instances of the Document class and those of the Annotations class, a property on document instances would list all the associated annotations, and a property on annotation instances would list the parent document. Associations are defined on the classes that define the associated objects. For further information on the characteristics of association properties, refer to About association properties.

The Create Association Property wizard walks through the steps of creating associated properties on the two classes, specify cardinality of the property (single or multi-valued), and defines the dependencies between the properties (should the annotations be deleted when the document is deleted.)

The topics that follow will use the example of an object store at an insurance company that has a document class called Claims and another called Policies.
