FileNet P8 domain root properties (Verity Domain Config tab)

The Verity Domain Config tab provides information about the Verity domain used in the FileNet P8 domain. There is one Verity domain configuration object per FileNet P8 domain.

User Domain
The Verity user domain the Verity user logs into. This is a Windows domain the user specified in Verity Username belongs to(not used for LDAP). The Verity User Domain, Verity Username, and Verity User Password values are used to log in to Verity for indexing and search operations, and must be specified to secure collections.
Verity Username
The Verity user logging on to the Verity domain. Use the <K2_Security_User> value created during P8 Platform installation. For more information on Verity users and groups, refer to "Specify IBM FileNet P8 Accounts" in Plan and Prepare Your Environment for IBM FileNet P8. Verity Password
The password that authenticates the Verity User in the Verity domain.
User Group
The group name that owns any Verity collections created for full text indexing. Only group members can access Verity collections. Enter the <K2_Security_Group> value created during P8 Platform installation. For more information on Verity users and groups, refer to "Specify IBM FileNet P8 Accounts" in Plan and Prepare Your Environment for IBM FileNet P8. Hostname
The Verity Master Administration server used to create Verity collections. This Content Engine server contacts the master administration server for all requests to create a Verity collection.
Port
The Verity Master Administration server port.
Search Servers
The text box contains the names of all Verity Search Servers associated with the Verity Administration server. This is a read-only field containing server names returned from Verity.
Index Servers
The text box contains the names of all Verity Index Servers associated with the Verity Administration server. This is a read-only field containing server names returned from Verity.
Brokers
The text box contains the names of all Verity Brokers associated with the Verity Administration server. This is a read-only field containing Brokers returned from Verity.
Create Configuration
The Create Configuration button only appears if a Verity configuration object does not already exist. Fill in the above fields and click Create Configuration to create a new Verity configuration object for this domain.
Delete Configuration
The Delete Configuration button appears only after configuring a Verity configuration object for this domain. After configuration, the Create Configuration button becomes the Delete Configuration button, allowing you to remove the current Verity configuration object and input another.
