property mappings for the selected document class mapping.
You can open this dialog box from:

Properties. If the object store does not have a fixed file store, the Content Federation tab is hidden.

Add to Current Property Mappings
- External Repository - Fixed Content Device and Document Class
- Displays the Fixed Content Device that the document class
mapping will use.
- Available Properties (with Name / Data Type)
- Displays all properties for the document class displayed
above. Properties that have already been mapped are displayed in a lighter
font than the properties that are still available for mapping. Select a property,
then select a Content Engine property on the right, and click Add.
The new property mapping will appear below in the list of all current property
mappings.
NOTE
- If you are using a Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) repository, you must map the CMOD filename or document name document property to the Document Title property of the Content Engine Document Class to prevent documents from being federated with an undefined name attribute.
- If you are using an Image Services repository, IS Menu properties (indexes) display as String properties in the Available Properties list box.
- Content Engine - Object Store and Document Class
- Displays the object store that contains the listed document class mapping,
and the Content Engine document class name participating in the class mapping.
- Available Properties (with Name / Data Type)
- Displays all Content Engine properties that have the same data type as the
External Repository property selected on the left. One exception is the External Repository date type, which can be mapped to either a date or string type Content Engine property.
Properties that have already
been mapped are displayed in a lighter font than the properties that are still
available for mapping. After selecting an External Repository property on the left,
select a Content Engine property, and click Add.
