Add templates dialog box
Use this dialog box to add templates to the Security Policy object. It appears
when you click Add on the security policy's General
property page or in the security policy wizard's Specify templates page.
- Templates
- Select the check box to include the listed templates in the security policy.
The predefined versioning
related templates (whose default names are Released, Reservation, In Process,
Superseded) are always listed, plus any custom templates you create and add.
- New Custom Template
- Use this part of the dialog box to create application security templates
(also called custom templates), which you could use and apply according to
program logic in an application created using one of FileNet P8 Platform's
APIs.
- Name
- Enter a name for the new custom template.
- Optional ID
- Enter an ID only if you have already defined one in your application. If
you leave it blank, the Content Engine will generate a GUID for you that you
could provide to your application.
Click Add to add the new custom template
to the list of templates above.
Click OK to accept the changes and close
the dialog box
