This command converts an existing isolated region so that it can be enabled for region recovery. The command operates in two phases: first, it verifies that all the RDB Objects for that region are in the correct table space, and secondly, it separates region data located in Process Engine system tables into separate region level tables.
After you specify the table spaces for the region in Process Task Manager, run rdbConvertReg for the first time. A list displays the Process Engine database items showing the following information:
After moving the data to the new table spaces using the database tools, run rdbConvertReg a second time to verify that the tables and indexes were moved. Once the verification passes, rdbConvertReg automatically processes the Process Engine system tables as necessary to enable the region backup and recovery.
See Convert existing region to recovery enabled for more information.
