The FileNet System Manager Listener C++ API is located on the FileNet System
Manager media in the file Listener.dll. The objects defined in the library are
exposed through Listener.lib and Listener.h, where all of the objects are defined
in the FNPCH
namespace. The library is built for use with multithreaded
code and the entry points are thread-safe.
To use the Listener C++ API, add the system location of Listener.dll library
to your PATH
environment variable and then instantiate a Listener
object. The library directly requires the following DLLs, and indirectly requires
the libraries required by these files:
The library does not require MFC or other high-level runtime libraries. When
a Listener object is instantiated, it calls WSAStartup()
to indicate that it needs to use the WinSock version 2 functionality. It does
not matter whether other parts of the application have already made this call,
so long as WinSock version 2 is indicated as being available.
