Specify style template

As an option you can specify a style template that controls the output format of the publication document. Provided style templates format documents in HTML or Adobe Acrobat PDF. Choose this option on the Publish Instructions tab.

To select a style template

  1. On the Publish Instructions tab, check the box labeled Use a Style Template to transform the content. If modifying a publish template that already uses a style template, click Select to choose a different style template.

The Choose Style Template dialog displays a list of available style templates. The list includes the name of the style template, the output format, and the input formats. You can drag the line between column heads to adjust the size of columns.

  2. Select one of the available style templates. The Details area at the bottom of the window displays information that did not fit in the column at the top.
  3. Click OK to associate the selected style template with the publish template.
  4. Add the publish template to the appropriate object store.

Use the Add New button or the Add New command on the File menu if you created a new template.

Use the Check In button or the Check In command on the File menu if you modified an existing template.

Except for screen titles, procedures for checking in a template are like those for adding a new template. See the topic Add a template to an object store for more information.
