Select Single or Multi-Value
Specify whether the property will be a single value or multi-value.
NOTE You
cannot change this attribute once you have created the property template.
Single or Multi-Value
- Select Single for properties that can have only one value.
- Choose Non-unique and ordered values OR Unique and ordered values if the values of the property must
be in a specific order. An example would be the lines in an address, which only
makes sense when displayed in a particular order.
- Select Multi for properties that can have more than one value (an enumeration).
- Choose Unique and unordered values if the order of the values is not fixed
and each member must be unique. An example is a list of primary colors (blue,
red, yellow); each color is unique, but the order in which the colors are
listed is not important.
NOTE Properties
that are object data type must be Non-Unique and Ordered.
