If an attachment is defined as an array (a collection of documents, folders, and so on), the access privileges specified for the attachment determine whether you can specify the target of each array element and add or delete array elements.
To view or modify the target of an array element

Assign a target to the array element. Click Assign Attachment on the toolbar, then do one of the following, depending on the location of the target:
Optionally, you can leave the target for this array element blank. |

Unassign Attachment |
Remove the assigned target from the array element. |

View Document |
View the target of the array element. If your viewer application does not recognize the format of the target, the target will not display. If you do not have Viewer access to the target, the button is disabled. |

Open |
Open the target in an appropriate application available on your computer. If the target is a folder, a Browse page displays the contents of the folder where you can select individual items. You can then use the tools on the toolbar to perform the appropriate operations on the selected item. Note that although the Link Workflow and Launch Workflow toolbar buttons appear to be enabled, you cannot link or launch a workflow from the target. |

Check out the target from a library and save it on your local system. |

Checkout and Open | Check out the target and open it for editing. | |
Checkin Document |
Check in the previously checked out target. |

Cancel Checkout |
Cancel checkout of the target. | |

By default, attachment arrays are expanded so that each element in an array has its own row in the table. If an array is not expanded, click the arrow next to the attachment name to display the array elements.
