Configure Process Engine e-mail notification
Use the Notification tab to configure Process Engine e-mail notification. In addition to configuring e-mail notification, you must add at least one language pack.

The Notification tab includes these fields:
Name | Description |

SMTP Host |
The complete host name for an SMTP server on the network running the
SMTP Service on the port specified by the SMTP Port parameter below. The
SMTP server can be a Process Engine server or another server on your network. smtp_host_name |
SMTP Port |
The port on which the SMTP Service is running. The default value is 25. |
Character Set
|
The character set to use in encoding the e-mail message. The default is ISO-8859-1. If you change this value, you must turn on Encode From Field below. |
Email Logon ID |
The name used for the account you want Process Engine to use to log in to the mail server application. You must use ASCII characters only. Example: workflow@host.com |
Email Logon Password | The password associated with the Email Logon ID entered above. |
Email From ID |
The name you want to appear in the From field on the e-mail notifications. You can use extended ASCII characters. |
Encode From Field |
Indicates whether to encode the contents of Email From ID.
Set to On if Email From ID contains extended ASCII characters. Off is the default. |
