Complete a work item
When you have completed all of the actions required in a work item, you
indicate that it is complete. The work is then routed to the next step
in the workflow.
To indicate that work is complete
- In the open work item, check that you have completed all tasks specified
in the instructions.
- If the work item includes response options, confirm that you have selected one.
- Click Complete to save your changes and route the work to
the next step in the workflow.
NOTE When
you complete a work item, that work item is no longer available from your
workflow Inbox.
- For FileNet Web Services, you might need to click Refresh
on the browser toolbar to remove the work item from your Inbox.
- For Open Client, click Refresh on the Process page toolbar
to remove the work item from your Inbox.
If you also receive notification of work items in your e-mail, that notification
will remain in your e-mail Inbox until you delete it.
