Add or edit a domain

To view and edit parameters for connecting Enterprise Manager to a FileNet P8 domain, click the Add or Edit buttons from the P8 Logon window.

Nickname
Enter a name identifying the FileNet P8 domain.
Domain
A read-only field that displays in the Edit mode, but is not editable.
Connection
Select the appropriate connection protocol.
Server
Enter the server name where Content Engine resides. Default value is localhost.
Port
Enter the Content Engine's application server communication port number, or select it from the list. Default value is port 7001.
Path
Enter the relative path to Content Engine Web Service Interface (WSI) endpoint. Default value is wsi/FNCEWS40MTOM.
URL
URL is automatically built from the Server, Port, and Path entries above.
Username
Enter the user name to connect to the Content Engine domain. If a user name and password pair is not provided, the user is prompted for this information prior to connecting to the domain.
Password
Enter the user's password (if required).
Confirm Password
Re-type the user's password (if required).
Remember password
Select to store the password in an encrypted form with the domain settings.
Use integrated logon
Select to use integrated login. The user name and password are disabled.
