Back up Process Engine configuration files
Should a Process Engine server fail, you must reinstall the software from the IBM FileNet P8 Platform installation image. You can, however, restore Process Engine's functionality to the state before the failure by backing up and restoring its configuration files.
IBM recommends that after the initial Process Engine installation, and after each subsequent configuration change, you back up the following files. Note that the files must be restored to the same location.
Use the following table to determine the actual files and databases that must be backed up.
NOTE Where the Windows and UNIX paths are identical except for the separators, the Windows format is used.
