Use Process Configuration Console
Process Configuration Console
provides the tools to create and modify the workflow database structures, and
provides you with management tools to configure event logging and statistics
collection and set performance parameters.
Use Process Configuration Console
for the following workflow administration tasks:
- Exposing data fields. To take advantage of exposed data fields, the
names and types of the data fields that the workflow designer defines in Process Designer
must match the names and types of the fields created in Process Configuration Console,
including case. The workflow designer, workflow administrator, and, where
applicable, application developer typically work together to determine what
fields are needed and how they will be used.
- Setting access rights. As a workflow administrator, you must provide
the workflow designer with the access rights for each workflow roster and
queue. This information is used by Process Engine to enforce the security requirements of your system. See About
workflow security for more information.
- Setting logging options. As a workflow administrator, you must provide
the workflow author with the event logging options for each isolated region.
This information defines which events are recorded in the log database. See
About
event logs for more information.
See Help for Process Configuration Console
for detailed instructions.
