Configure auditing
Use this dialog box to create and configure the audit
definitions that will be placed on all instances of the class. See audit logging for more information.
- Audit Definitions
- Displays the audit events assigned to the class.
- Show Inherited
- Select this check box to display the list of inherited audit definitions.
- Event
- Contains a list of the auditable events for this class. To add a new audit definition, select a new event and then select Success, Failure, or both; this will enable the Add
button.
- Audit:
- Success
Select this check box if you want the selected Event to be audited if it succeeds.
- Failure
Select this check box if you want the selected Event to be audited if it fails.
- Apply to subclasses
- Select this check box if you want any subclasses of this class to inherit
the selected audit definition. Each audit definition can be individually configured
to be inheritable or not.
- Add/Modify
- Click to add a new or to modify an existing audit definition.
- Remove
- Click to remove the selected audit definition.
