The Access roles site preference for compound documents determines which users can modify the structure of a compound document. The access roles are applied to a specific component relationship class. If no access role is assigned to a specific component relationship class, users cannot modify the structure of a compound document that uses that component relationship class. If an access role is assigned to a specific component relationship class, users who are members of that access role can edit the compound document structure. For more information, see Access roles preferences.
Click Add Class to Set Access to select a new component relationship class. The class must already be defined in Content Engine.
The default component relationship class is Component Relationship. By default, access to this class is set to "Everyone - Allowed." Each class that has been added is listed. You cannot remove the default Component Relationship class.
Click Select access roles below a component relationship class to select one or more access roles for that class. Click Remove next to an access role to remove that access role from a specific component relationship class.
