For an unpublished UDDI Registry entry, you can specify a business name and a business description. For previously published business entities (entities published from the current isolated region), you can display the published business information including the business entity name, the business key, the publish user name, and the business description.
To add business entity information
Since the business entity will be identified by a generated business key, it is not essential that the name be unique in the UDDI Registry, although it is helpful for browsing the entries.
See Publish business information to UDDI for information about publishing business information and additional contact information to the UDDI registry.
TIP You can publish business entity information to a UDDI Registry either as a separate task before you publish a web service, or as part of the procedure for publishing a web service to a UDDI Registry.
To display information about a previously published business entity
If the business entity has been published and the business key for that entity is saved in the UDDI Registry List, the business information displays read-only.
To import business entity information
If the selected business entity already exists in the UDDI Registry but the business key has not been saved in the UDDI Registry List (for example, the business entity was published by someone else, or the isolated region was initialized and the data is lost), you can import the business information into your UDDI Registry List from the UDDI Registry
On the Business Information dialog box, click Import Business. See Import Business for more information.
