Making a workflow available for launch

In addition to creating and modifying workflow definitions, a workflow author might be responsible for associating a workflow definition with the appropriate document classes or documents in your Content Engine object store. In Workplace, this association is called a workflow subscription.

Associating a document class with a workflow definition enables a user to launch the workflow from any document belonging to that class. The subscription can also be configured to launch a workflow automatically when a document is checked into or added to the class. Associating an individual document with a workflow definition enables a user to launch the workflow from that document.
