In this example, two component steps use the file operation to file a document (an attachment in the workflow) in a specific folder depending on a response in a previous step.
Step 1: Define the values required for the operation: Using Process Designer, in workflow properties define the attachments as shown in the image below.
In defining the values of the two target folders, create the two folders (bcAccept and bcReview) in the object store, if necessary .
Note that the value for target_attachment can be specified in the workflow definition, or it can be the initiating attachment or specified during processing.
Step 2: Define the appropriate steps in the workflow: In the map, a Decide step contains responses "Accept" and "Review" with corresponding routes (OK, Not OK) to the component steps based on the selected response.
Step 3: For each component step, specify the parameters for the selected operation:
In the operation parameters for the FileAccepted component step, select the File operation, then set the operation parameters as indicated in the image below.
In the operation parameters for the FileReview step, the sourceDocument is again set to target_attachment, and the destFolder is set to target_folder_Review.
