Draw a sticky note
The Sticky Note tool draws a resizable yellow
icon that opens up a text window when a user clicks on it. This is like
pasting a sticky note on a paper document. The following examples show
a sticky note drawn on an image. The second example shows the toolbar
and resize controls for another annotation. Each sticky note is numbered sequentially, in the order created. If you delete one of these, the missing numbers are not reused.

To draw a sticky note
- Click the Sticky Note drawing tool.
- Click the left mouse button at the location where you want the sticky
note placed. When you release the mouse button, a dialog box opens for
you to enter your text.
- Type the text for your note. You can press Enter / Return to create
a new line or paragraph within the text box.
- Click OK to save the text.
To resize the sticky note
- Select the annotation.
- Drag the pink box up or left to make it smaller. Drag the pink box down or right to make it larger.
To view or edit the sticky note text
- Select the annotation.
- Click Edit Text in the annotation's toolbar
to open the sticky note text.
- If needed, edit the text.
To move an annotation
- Click the Select/edit annotation tool on the annotation toolbar.
- Click on the annotation
and hold down the mouse button while you drag the annotation to a new location.
- When the annotation is in the correct location, release the mouse button.
To save your annotation changes
- Click the Save button in the Annotation toolbar
(at the left of the Image Viewer window) to save the annotations with
the image.
NOTE
The Fix annotation button in the annotation customization toolbar does not save
your changes with the Image.
