Publish Web Services workflows to WSRR
The Publish to WSRR dialog box is organized into two tabs:
- Publish Workflow - Publish web service workflows to a WSRR registry.
- Browse WSRR - Browse the web services you have published to WSRR registries.
To publish workflows to a WSRR registry
A FileNet workflow that contains a Receive system function, and that has been transferred to the Process Engine database, can be published to a WSRR registry. See About Web Services for additional information.
- In Process Configuration Console, use the following steps to check that the required information has been defined for the WSRR registry where you will publish the workflow.

- Select the isolated region that contains the workflows to be published, and click Properties on the toolbar.
- On the Web Services tab, select the WSRR tab.
- Confirm that the server name exists for the WSRR registry, and that the Publish check box is selected. Click Validate to confirm the connections. Close the Properties window.
- With the isolated region selected, click Action and select Publish to WSRR.
- On the Publish Workflow tab, click Search to list workflow definitions with web services that have been transferred in the isolated region.
To limit the number of names, enter the first few letters of the name and click Search.
- In Web Service workflow search result, select one or more workflows to publish.
Click the Select button to move the selected items into the list of Web Services workflows to publish (below).
- Under Select WSRR registry, select the registry where you intend to publish the workflows.

- Click Publish.
- If security is enabled on WSRR, at the prompt enter your user name and password for this registry. Otherwise, if security is not enabled or if you have previously accessed this registry during the current session, you will not be prompted to log on.

Browse and manage web services in WSRR registries
In the Publish to WSRR dialog box, the Browse WSRR tab displays WSRR registries defined in the WSRR Registry list.
The WebSphere Services Registry and Repository tree (left pane) displays the following elements:
- WSRR registries - Registries specified for this isolated region.

- Web Services - Web Services published to the WSRR registry.
The information pane (right pane) contains properties of the selected item.
- General tab contains the standard properties - name, name space, location, WSDL URL, description, owner, version, last modified date, encoding, BsrURI,
- Note that the version can be one of the following:
- Finalized-<workspaceID> - Finalized indicates that "Finalize existing web services operations" option is enabled for this workflow. WorkspaceID is a number identifying the workspace when this workflow was transferred. When a process invokes this Web Service, the most recent version of this Web Service will execute. See Web Services - General properties in the online Help for Process Designer for information about this option.
- <workspaceID> - When a process invokes this Web Service, the specific version of this workflow (identified by the workspace ID) will execute.
- Custom Properties tab contains FileNet P8 Process Engine-specific properties - PEServer, ConnectionPoint, TransferTiimeStamp, and IsolatedRegion.
To update the list of Web Services in a registry
- Select the WSRR registry and click Refresh on the toolbar.
To delete a Web Service in a registry
- Select the Web Service to delete and click Delete on the toolbar.
