Restart the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services

If you add or remove or edit class property mappings for your FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services installation, you must restart the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services service before the mapping changes will take effect. An Enterprise Manager dialog box will notify you about this.

Since the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services service cannot be administered from Enterprise Manager, you must use the Windows Services Tool. See FileNet P8 Content Federation Services for Image Services Guidelines for full reference information.

To restart the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services

  1. Select Start > Programs > Administration Tools > Services. This opens the Windows Services administrative tool.
  2. Right-click the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services in the list of services and select Restart. If it is not already started, then select Start.
  3. Close the Services tool.

NOTE  Enterprise Manager can be left running while restarting the FileNet P8 CFS Server for Image Services. There is no need to refresh Enterprise Manager after the service restart.
