Specify the content cache area folder

This is the root folder (also called a root directory) of the content cache area you are creating. The location is a shared folder in a networked file system accessible by Content Engine.

Specifying a content cache area folder path requires the following:

The content cache area folder is the top-level folder in the content cache area folder tree. The path name can contain up to 132 characters.

CAUTION  A content cache should never be created on a local share. A local drive path such as D:\Cache is most efficient and a remote share path can be specified in some circumstances; however, a local share should never be used for the content cache.

Shared Folder
You can select a folder on either a local or remote server using the UNC file path (which identifies the server's name). If Enterprise Manager is located on the local computer, you can also select a local folder path by specifying the drive and folder name.
Content Cache Folder (created beneath the shared folder)
This field identifies the name of the content cache folder which will be created as a subfolder of the specified Shared Folder. You cannot change this selection.
