  2. From the Action menu, select Connect.
  3. From the Action menu, select Initialize Isolated Region.
  4. Enter the password specified when the isolated region was defined in Enterprise Manager.
  5. At the prompt, click Yes to initialize the isolated region, or click No to cancel the action.

NOTES

See Enabling Content Extended Operations for information about enabling workflow access to properties of documents, folders, and other objects in an object store.

If you are using Process Analyzer, when you initialize a Process Engine isolated region, you must also prune data from that same region forProcess Analyzer Engine. See Prune isolated region data in Help for Process Task Manager.

CAUTION  The following actions do not require the Commit Changes action. These changes take place in the database as soon as you click OK. There is no ability to undo these changes later.

  • Removing the workflow database
  • Removing all isolated regions
  • Removing a single isolated region
  • Initializing an isolated region

NOTE  When you perform this action, you make changes to the workflow database structures. If you currently have data in your workflow database, FileNet recommends backing up all the servers in your VWService prior to completing this change.
