Use the Web Services Explorer dialog box to locate Web Services to invoke in a workflow. The Web Services can be either in public or private WSRR or UDDI registries, or in FileNet workflows that contain a Receive step in the current isolated region.
To locate a Web Service in a WSRR registry or a UDDI registry
NOTE The left pane displays only WSRR or UDDI registries previously defined using Process Configuration Console. See WSRR Registry list or UDDI Registry list for additional information.
For UDDI, select Business list or WSDL tModel list, and then enter the first few letters of the business name or WSDL tModel name. Click Execute to display matching items.
TIP If you define a new WSRR or UDDI registry or publish a workflow to one of these registries in Process Configuration Console, you can update the list in the Process Designer Web Services Explorer dialog box by right-clicking on the appropriate item (the root node, the name of a registry, or an individual item) and selecting Refresh.
To locate Web Services in FileNet workflows in the current isolated region
TIP To invoke web services in FileNet workflows that are in different regions, you can either enable a UDDI repository in the isolated region where the web service exists, or publish the workflow to a WSRR or UDDI registry. See UDDI repository for the isolated region, Publish Web Services to WSRR, and Publish Web Services to UDDI for additional information.
