Configure workflow database properties

Use the Database tab to view or modify the workflow database properties. (Most of the properties are determined during installation and are displayed here for information only.)

Database settings

Database Name Description
Microsoft SQL Server Database Type The database type; in this case, Microsoft SQL Server.
Data Source Name Displays the name of the database connection string used to connect to the SQL Server database through ODBC.
Database Name

Displays the database name used when connecting to the SQL Server database through ODBC.

Data Filegroup

Displays the name of the filegroup where you want the Process Engine database to reside. The name must meet Process Engine naming requirements.

Filegroups in Use

Displays the filegroups in use.

Oracle Database Type

The database type; in this case, Oracle.

Data Tablespace

Displays the name of the table space where you want the Process Engine database to reside.

Index Tablespace The table space where you want the workflow database to store its index data. The name must meet Process Engine naming requirements.
Tablespaces in Use Displays the table spaces in use.
DB2 Database Type

The database type; in this case, DB2.

Database Name

Displays the database name created during installation of the database.

Data Tablespace

Displays the name of the table space where you want the Process Engine database to reside.

Index Tablespace The table space where you want the workflow database to store its index data. The name must meet the Process Engine naming requirements.
Blob Tablespace The table space where you want the workflow database to store its BLOB data.
Tablespaces in Use Displays the table spaces in use.
