FileNet P8 domain properties (IS Import Agent tab)
The IS Import Agent tab provides configuration information related to the IS document import agent.
- Configuration Source
- Indicates the scope level (domain object) for which these configuration parameters apply. This field can also indicate whether or not the current IS import agent tab information is inherited from another object or are local settings for this object.
- Enable Dispatcher
- Select or clear this check box to enable or disable the dispatcher for this service.
- Dispatcher Wait Interval
- The number of seconds the dispatcher waits before looking for work. Valid settings range from 5 to 600 seconds.
- Number of Import Agents
- The number of import agent threads on each Content Engine server. Valid settings range from 1 to 5.
- No Work Delay
- The number of milliseconds the import agent waits before checking for data to retrieve from the Image Services system if there was
no data retrieved the last time it checked. Valid settings range from 0 to 300000 milliseconds.
- Batch Delay
- The number of milliseconds the import agent waits while processing batch requests for data to retrieve from the Image Services system if there was data retrieved
the last time it checked. (When there is work to do, the Agent checks more
often.) Valid settings range from 0 to 1000 milliseconds.
- Documents Per Batch
- The number of documents per batch. Valid settings range from 1 to 500.
- Retry Count
- The number of times the import agent retries the operation. Valid settings range from 1 to 10000.
- Override inherited settings
- If available, select the check box to override the inherited import agent configuration settings. When selected, the Copy Values button is enabled for use in overriding the inherited settings.
- Copy Values
- Click Copy Values to open a window and select an object from which to copy import agent configuration settings. The Copy Values button remains disabled until the user selects the Override inherited settings check box.
