Configure Process Engine

From the Process Engine node, you configure global properties that apply to all servers in a Process Engine system. A change to any of the global properties requires restarting all of the servers. Process Task Manager can only display current properties when the Process Service software is started on the local Process Engine server.

To configure Process Engine global properties

  1. Configure Process Engine by selecting the Process Engine node and editing the appropriate fields on each tab. Select a tab below for more information.
    Tab Description
    General Set general properties for the Process Service.
    Security Configure the Process Engine security connection.
    Notification Configure e-mail notification for the Process Service.
    Server Connections Configure Process Service to interact with optional features on other servers.
    Database View or modify the workflow database properties.
    Advanced Set advanced properties for the Process Service.
  2. Click Apply when done.
