Actions

This section describes the various actions that are available. Many of the actions open wizards. For example, the Check In wizard opens when you select the Check In action from an information page or pop-up menu. Actions are available in different locations depending on the application you are using.

Workplace XT and Workplace actions

The application you are using determines where actions appear:

The actions displayed in the context and actions menus and in the Information page depend on the type of object you selected, whether you selected more than one object, and the actions configured for your use by your administrator. Your site administrator defines which groups of users can access which types of actions and which actions are available.

The following table lists the actions available for Workplace XT and Workplace. For Workplace XT, the available actions differ depending on what kind of page you are on. Browse and Search are primary pages; the remaining pages are considered secondary pages.
