FileNet Forms Manager 4.2.0 Hardware and Software Requirements

This document describes the minimum hardware and software requirements for the FileNet Forms Manager product release, which includes FileNet Forms Designer and Desktop eForms product releases. It also defines the minimum supported levels of third-party software components. In general, you can install and run with more current patch releases, service packs or minor releases if they are forward-compatible. The information in this document takes precedence over any requirements stated elsewhere.

This version of FileNet Forms Manager is qualified for Forms Designer 4.2.0 and Desktop eForms 4.2.0.

Acrobat Reader 5.0 is required for generating a PDF from a form and for displaying manuals.

NOTE During the installation of Forms Manager, CapiCom.dll version 2.0 is installed on the server. Client machines that are running Windows XP also have this dll. However, in order to sign forms using the Microsoft CSP signing service, users running other Windows operating systems must install this dll on their workstations. Users should go to www.microsoft.com, search for "capicom.dll", and download the file.
