stepprocessors

This command displays step processor configurations.

A step processor is used to complete a step in a workflow. A launch processor is designed specifically to launch a workflow. FileNet provides several step processors and launch processors that you can use as is; optionally, a developer can modify these FileNet-supplied step processors or create additional ones.

Syntax

The syntax varies depending on the action you choose to perform.

Action to perform Syntax

view a step processor

stepprocessor v <search_by> <processorID|processortype>

Parameters

search_by

Specifies the means you want to use to display step processor information. Enter "t" to search by step processor type, or "i" to search by step processor ID. The default value is "i".

processorID

An integer value that uniquely identifies the step processor.

processortype

Identifies the entry as either a step processor or launch processor, and as Java or HTML. In addition, you can identify one of each type as the default processor for the step or launch step. Valid types are:

33

Default HTML launch processor

34

Default HTML step processor

36

Non-default HTML launch processor

40

Non-default HTML step processor

65

Default Java launch processor

66

Default Java step processor

68

Non-default Java launch processor

72

Non-default Java step processor

In addition to the above information, this command displays the following information:

Name

Identifies the step processor or launch processor.

Width

An integer value that specifies the width, in pixels, of the processor display window.

height

An integer value that specifies the height, in pixels, of the processor display window.

JavaExtra

The package name of the Java application associated with a Java-based processor. This value does not apply to HTML-based processors.

Paths

Specifies the location on the Application Engine or web server where the processor web page resides. The path is relative to the default step or launch processor location.

TIP In vwtool, you can enter parameters on the command line (following the command name) or let vwtool prompt you for the information by entering just the command name. Generally, we recommend prompt mode for all but the simplest commands. Entering the parameters on the command line is intended primarily for script-driven input.

NOTE If necessary, change to the desired isolated region prior to executing this command.
