VWJs debugging trace files

These files log the processing for each VWJs process on the Process Engine. They are used primarily for debugging purposes, when requested by your FileNet support representative. One file is created by each VWJs process.

File name

jVWServer#.trc, where “#” starts at 0 and increments for each VWJs process.

Created on:

The Process Engine.

Located in:

The directory from which you start the PPM.

Can be turned off:

Yes. This file is created when you turn on Server debugging when starting the PPM process.

To archive:

Use standard operating system commands to rename the file. Then copy the renamed file to permanent storage media and delete the copied file from the current location.

You must turn off server debugging in the PPM before renaming the log files.
