Reassign workIf the workflow definition allows you to reassign a work item, you can assign the work to another participant. You can also choose to have the work return to you for approval after the other participant has completed it, before it progresses to the next step in the workflow. To reassign a work item to another participant
NOTE If you reassign a work item to another participant, that item will no longer be available from your email Inbox, although the email message remains in your email Inbox until you delete it manually.
