Manage the workflow databaseThe workflow database contains the database tables necessary for work item processing and related activities, such as event logging and statistics collection. The workflow database can be distributed across multiple Process Engines. When you have multiple Process Engines in a VWService, you can assign rosters and work queues to a specific server. By contrast, tables for user queues, event logging, and statistics are replicated on each server. The server on which the activity takes place determines the actual table used for a transaction. Some of the database tables contain general information that applies to the entire VWService. Other tables belong to a specific isolated region. You can use isolated regions to subdivide the work area within a workflow database. Each isolated region operates independently. Using the Process Configuration Console, you can remove the entire workflow database, or you can remove only those tables associated with all of the isolated regions. You can also initialize or remove a single isolated region. What would you like to do?
