Configuring the Process Engine for manual startup (UNIX only)Whenever you boot a UNIX-based Process Engine the Process Service software starts automatically. You can configure the software for manual start up by editing the startup file, /etc/inittab. NOTE Since Process Service is dependent on its database software, the database software must be running when the Process Service software starts, regardless of whether the Process Service software starts automatically or manually.
