After you have created a new Process project (typically in Visual InterDev or Visual Studio) and deleted the directories and files (created by Visual InterDev or Visual Studio), you must add the Process Services components (FileNet Web Services and PJAC) necessary to extend your application's existing functionality.
Add the necessary Process Services components by performing the following steps:
If you are developing your web application on a remote work station, you must map a network drive to the directory on the web server that contains the FileNet Web Services files. For example, if you installed the FileNet Web Services application to the default location, you would need to map a network drive to the <drive>...\Program Files\FileNET\IDM\Web\IDMWS directory on the FileNet Web Services server.
Note If you wish to use the FileNet Web Services web application (e.g., with minor modifications), be sure to include the \Application folder in the list of folders to add to your project.
The selected folders, and their contents, are added to your new project. The amount of time required for the files to be copied to the local repository of the project depends on the network and server speeds. Once the folders and files are added, the Project Explorer pane lists the files and folders copied into your new web project. Your web project now has the necessary components for Process application development.
If you created a new application and new directory on your web server, you should check to make sure that the web server directory permissions have been set (and if not, set them). You are now ready to:
