General step - rules
When business rules are used in a workflow, you can assign appropriate rule
sets to any step. See for additional information.
To specify rules for a step
- Select the appropriate step, then click the Rules
tab in the Properties pane.
- On the Rules tab, specify the Typewhen
the rule will execute at runtime.
- Before Execution - The specified rule set will execute before the step
is enqueued.
- On Save - The specified rule set will execute each time the step is
saved.
- After Completion - The specified rule will execute after the step is
completed.
- On the Rule Sets bar, click Add.
- In the Rule Set Selection dialog, select one or more rule sets for this
step. See Rule
set selection for additional information.
