Disabled timersThe system software disables all timers for a work item when an exception-handling workflow map is called. Although both disabled and suspended timers continue to count down, a disabled timer is not the same as a suspended timer. A disabled timer is "hidden" from the user—essentially invisible. The user can’t resume or explicitly end a disabled timer because the name of the disabled timer is not accessible. The EndAllTimers system function does end all timers, regardless of the state: active, suspended, and disabled.
