About security queues

Security queues add an additional level of security to work queues by preventing unauthorized users from making changes to existing queues. A security queue is indicated by the characters "SQ_" at the beginning of the queue name.

You create a security queue in the Process Configuration Console. When creating or modifying a security queue, you must meet the following requirements:

  • To create a security queue, you must give yourself Query & Process access to the queue.
  • In addition, to modify a security queue, you must already have Query & Process access to the existing queue.
