View and specify workflow group members

A workflow group displayed on a work item page can be informational only or it can allow you to modify its list of members. See About workflow participants for general information on participants and workflow groups. The access privileges specified for a workflow group determine whether you can view and/or modify the list of members. See Working with attachments, data fields, and workflow groups for details.

To view the list of members of a workflow group

  • In the open work item, click Workflow Groups.
  • The workflow groups included in this work item display in a table, along with the members of each group.

To change the list of users in a workflow group

  1. In the open work item, click Workflow Groups.
  2. Click the [Edit...] button for the group you want to edit.
  3. On the Workflow Group Contents page, you can perform the following actions.

To add participants to the selected workflow group, select one or more users or groups in the list of All Values (left), then click the right arrow key to move them to the Selected Values (right).

To remove participants from the selected workflow group, select one or more participants in the Selected Values list, then click the left arrow key to remove them from the list.

TIP The list of users will be blank if no users have been assigned to the workflow group, or if you have Write access to that workflow group. Write access allows you to modify the list of users, but you cannot see the list.
