Managing datasets

This folder contains the datasets that are associated with a Process Service system. If an existing dataset runs out of space, you can create a new dataset of the same type.

NOTE The Dataset node appears on the primary Process Engine in a system using the FileNet Web Services Client or Open Client interface.

By default, the following datasets are installed:

  • Security Database: Contains security-related information
  • Security Recover Log: Contains information necessary to recover the security database in the case of a crash.

To create a new dataset.

  2. Select the Dataset folder, then click New on the Action menu.
  3. Enter the Dataset type, Filename, and File size. See the table below for further details.
  4. Click OK.
