Specify general properties
On the General tab, configure the Process Analyzer
Engine
user lookup option.
Server information
The Process Analyzer
uses the information you enter about the Process Engine
to provide expanded user information to the Process Analyzer.
Without this expanded information, users appear in the Process Analyzer
reports and charts simply as the internal identification number used by
the Process Engine.
Process Analyzer
Engine |
The name of the server where the Process Analyzer
Engine
is installed.
|
Install date |
The date on which the Process Analyzer
software was installed. The Process Analyzer
only analyzes workflows that are created after this date. |
Database server |
The name of the server where the Process Analyzer
SQL Server database database is installed. |
Database instance |
The name of the database instance of the Process Analyzer
SQL Server database. If this is blank, the Process Analyzer
uses the default instance. |
User name
|
The user name used to connect to the Process Analyzer
SQL Server database. If the information is not valid, Process Analyzer
Engine Configuration Tool
prompts you to re-enter the user name and password.

Password: |
The password associated with the user name. |
Validate |
Use the Validate button to verify
that the username and password are correct and can connect to the
Process Analyzer
database. |
Lookup user
Enter the following information to activate the user lookup option. Click
OK to close the Configuration Tool
to save your changes.
NOTE If
you do not enter any Process Engine
information, the user lookup feature is automatically turned off.
Lookup user router URL |
Enter the URL of the Process Router
to be used for the user lookup option. Enter the information in
the following format:
<Application-Engine-or-web-server-name:router-port>/<router-name>
For example, workflow-web:32771/vwrouter.

User name |
Enter the user name to be used during user lookup. |
Password |
Enter the password for the user. Note that if the user name and
password were entered previously, the Process Analyzer
Engine Configuration Tool
displays ******** in place of the password. |
Validate |
Use the Validate button to verify
that the router information is correct and can connect to the Process Engine.
If the router information is incorrect, the validation process can
take up to three minutes. |
