Welcome to the FileNet Process Configuration Console

Use the Process Configuration Console to configure the workflow database and environment.

The Process Configuration Console provides the tools to create and modify the workflow database structures—isolated regions, queues, rosters, and event logs. The Process Configuration Console also provides you with management tools to configure event logging and statistics collection, and to set performance parameters.

The Process Configuration Console is intended for use by Process Engine administrators. The configuration tools require careful and informed use; misuse of these tools can lead to loss of Process Engine data. See Security considerations for logon requirements.

NOTE If your computer does not have the appropriate Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed, you will be prompted to download the JRE the first time you run any of the Process Java applications: Process Designer, Process Configuration Console, Process Administrator, and so on. The JRE needs to be downloaded only once. During installation of the JRE, de-select the Internet Explorer option on the Select Browsers screen. If you are using Netscape 6, select the Netscape 6 option on the Select Browsers screen. For additional information see Install the Java Runtime Environment.
