Validate the workflow definition using the Validate toolBefore you save or launch a workflow, use the Validate function to detect invalid expressions and routing conditions in the workflow definition. Validation checks workflow maps and the syntax of expressions used as field values and route conditions. In addition, validation checks that the specified roster and event logs exist in the current region. To validate the workflow definition Click Any errors display in the Message area. Double-click on an error to highlight the step or route where the error occurs. Validation does not report as an error a blank Tracker assignments or step where the participant is not assigned because these can be completed as part of the launch or, for the participant, any time before the step is executed. TIP If any step in the workflow definition references a step processor that does not exist on this system, you must open that step and select a step processor from the list. This situation can occur if the workflow definition was defined on a different system or if a step processor was deleted after it was referenced in the workflow definition. |
