Configuring other server connections

Configure the connections to other optional servers by selecting the Process Service node in the Process Task Manager and selecting the Server Connections tab.

NOTE In a multi-server system, each Process Engine must be configured identically.

Process Analyzer connection

For an overview of the steps necessary to use the Process Analyzer, see Integrating with the Process Analyzer in the Help for Process Engine Administration.

Editable Fields Description
Host

The host name for a Process Analyzer Engine.

Port The port on which the Process Analyzer Engine accepts event information from the Process Engine. The default is 32772. The port you enter must match the port entered during the Process Analyzer Engine installation.

Rules Engine connection

In addition to setting the Rules Engine connection, you must also configure the Rules Engine. For an overview of the steps necessary to use the Rules Engine, see Integrating with the Rules Engine in the Help for Process Engine Administration.

Host

The host name for a Rules Engine.

Port The port on which the Rules Engine is running. The default is 6002. The port you enter must match the port you specify in Rules Engine general properties

Component Manager connection

In addition to setting the Component Manager connection, you must also configure the Component Manager on the Application Engine. For an overview of the steps necessary to use the Component Integrator functionality, see Integrating with the Component Integrator in the Help for Process Engine Administration.

Host

The host name for a Component Manager.

Event Port The port that the Component Manager listens to for incoming events. The default is 6003. The port you enter must match the event port entered for the Component Manager general properties.
