Integrating with the Rules EngineThe Rules Engine feature enables you to implement business rules for workflows. These rules can be simple or complex and can perform a variety of actionssuch performing if/then tests, setting values in data fields, or sending a work item to a submap or exception map. Business rules are assigned to workflows using the Process Designer but are created in ILOG JRules. For information on creating business rules, see the ILOG JRules documentation.
