View general step information

The General tab in the Properties pane displays the current status of all work items contained in the selected step. If the step is active or has been visited, the information displays. If the step has never been visited, the fields are blank. You cannot change any of the information on this tab.

Received

The date and time the work item entered the user's Inbox or the work queue.

Status

The status of the current step.

  • In Step view, Process Tracker displays general status of the step.
  • In Participant view, Process Tracker displays the status of the selected participant's work item. For a list of the symbols used in the status, see Symbols used in Process Tracker.

If the selected active step has a deadline, Status displays the Reminder (if specified) and the Overdue messages if the reminder or deadline are passed.

Deadline

The date and time by which the step must be completed, if a deadline is specified for this step in the workflow definition.

Step Status
(step view only)

A list of all active and completed work items for the selected occurrence of the step, and the current status of each work item. In addition, for the last occurrence of the step, the participant's response and comments display, if applicable.

To display a detail view of an item, right-click on the item, then select Status Details.

Response

The response that the user selected for the step, if any.

Comments

Text entered by the participant.

Step processor

The step processor that the system uses to process the work item. It can be a URL or "default" to indicate the default step processor.

Reassign

If checked, the participant can reassign the work item to another user.

View status

If checked, the participant can view the status of the workflow in Process Tracker.
