Setting user email preferences

Users can choose to receive notification for workflows they are to participate in and workflows to which they are assigned as trackers.

The Process Engine can notify participants of:

  • New assignments
  • Reminders
  • Expired deadlines

The Process Engine can notify trackers of:

  • Workflow exceptions
  • Expired step deadlines
  • New tracker assignments

Each user can set personal notification preferences, depending on his system interface:

  • In Workplace, select Preferences/Tasks.
  • In FileNet Web Services Client, open Personal Work Manager.
  • In Open Client, display the Process page.
