PPMThe Process Engine PPM folder displays information about the Pooled Process Manager (PPM) service on the Process Engine. In a multi-server configuration, the PPM must be running on each server.
CAUTION If your Windows Process Engine is configured as a cluster, you must use the appropriate cluster administration tool (the Microsoft Cluster Administrator or the Oracle Fail Safe Manager) rather than the Process Task Manager or other Process Service tools to:
Failure to stop the Process Engine or the PPM service using the cluster administration tools will initiate a fail-over reaction from the cluster service. To start the PPM
Select the item in the folder, and click the stop icon on the Process Service Administrator toolbar. NOTE You cannot mix the use of the Process Service Administrator and the Process Task Manager for starting and stopping the PPM. You must use the same method to start and stop the PPM. For example, if you used the Process Task Manager to start the PPM, you must again use that tool to stop the PPM.
