PJAC Files for Open Client

The Process Java Applets Connectivity (PJAC) for FileNet Open Client module provides connectivity between the Open Client web application and the Process Engine. PJAC also provides Process Integration Services to manage the interface with Image/Content/COM API Foundation objects for retrieval of FileNet Content or Image Services library objects.

Note Shared ASPX, ASCX, Data Providers, JSP, XML (and their associated XSD) files, etc. which may be used help customize your ASPX-hosted Process applications (including the Open Client out-of-the-box Java and HTML Step Processors) are included with the FileNet Open Client web application and not the PJAC for FileNet Open Client module. For information on these files, which in the default installation are found in the ...\Program Files\FileNet\IDM\Web\FNOpenClient\eprocess directory, see the FileNet Open Client Developer's Guide Help provided on the FileNet Open Client CD.

The installation of PJAC on the Open Client web server (when the PJAC installer is run and "PJAC - Open Client" is selected) installs the following components:

Note For information on the installation and contents of the Open Client Process Development Environment, see Installing the Process Development Environment - FileNet Open Client.

During PJAC installation, the following files are installed to provide the JRE executable and the Process Java runtime APIs for subsequent downloading to the client:
