Selecting an OLAP cube
The Process Analyzer
allows you to create reports about your workflow system in five areas,
each defined by an . Each OLAP cube focuses on workflows or work items. A workflow is a single instance of a workflow definition. It consists
of one or more work items. A work item is the smallest individual piece
of a workflow. The term "work item" is often used interchangeably
with "step," although steps involving more than one participant
actually consist of several work items, one for each participant.
To view information about work items, use one of these cubes:

Queue load |
View information about the amount of work being done in each queue
during a specified time period. |
Work in progress |
View up-to-the-moment information about all work currently in the
system. The information includes the number of work items, processing
times, and current status. You can break the information down by workflow
or work item. |
Work item processing time |
View information about processing time for work items during a specified
time period. You can break the information down by user. |
