workstation

Use the workstation command to display information for a selected workflow process, or for all workflow processes in the isolated region. This information includes:

  • The machine ID

  • The network (IP) address

  • The isolated region

  • The station name

  • The current workspace ID

  • The ID of the last user to log on from this machine

  • The names of the queues which potentially contain work items locked by this machine

Syntax

workstation <machineid>

Parameters

machineid

Machine ID of workstation.

Enter a specific machine ID or an asterisk (*) to indicate all workstations in the isolated region.

Note that this command does not provide information about web-based applications (machine ID -2).

TIP In vwtool, you can enter parameters on the command line (following the command name) or let vwtool prompt you for the information by entering just the command name. Generally, we recommend prompt mode for all but the simplest commands. Entering the parameters on the command line is intended primarily for script-driven input.

NOTE If necessary, change to the desired isolated region prior to executing this command.
