Listing the timestamps for your software

You can list the timestamps for your Process Engine software in the following ways:

  1. On the Process Engine, via the timestamp for the Process Engine API class library.
  2. On the Windows server platform, through the Version subtab of the Windows Properties dialog box.

This information is used when you call FileNet technical support, to verify the versions of your Process Engine software.

Via the timestamp for the Process Engine API class library

To view the timestamp, type the following at the command prompt:

java filenet.vw.base.VWStamp

Via the Properties Dialog Box

You can view the timestamp of a specific Process Engine software component (DLL or EXE) in the Windows Properties dialog box. For more information on the Windows Properties dialog box, see your Windows documentation.
