Starting the Process Task Manager

How you start the Process Task Manager is determined by the type and platform of the server on which it is running.

NOTE Closing the Process Task Manager window does not affect the processes—processes run until you explicitly stop them.

TIP You can start the tasks managed by Process Task Manager from the command line, which can be useful if you want to start the processes as part of a script. See Enabling automatic startup for more information.
