Enable or disable validation

You can disable workflow validation in Process Designer prior to transferring the workflow definition to the workflow database. See About transfer for additional information.

  1. Select Preferences on the Tools menu.
  2. On the Workflow tab, select or clear Validate Workflow Before Transfer/Launch.

Enable or disable Add/Check in

You can disable automatic Add or Check in of the workflow definition to the object store or library when you transfer or launch the workflow. For example, if you are testing a workflow, you might want to launch multiple times without saving multiple versions in the object store or library.

  1. Select Preferences on the Tools menu.
  2. On the Workflow tab, select or clear Add/Check in Workflow Before Transfer/Launch.

TIP Even if you disable workflow validation in Process Designer, validation occurs automatically on the Process Engine when you transfer, launch, or link a workflow.
