This special menu option manages the process of suspending a work assignment after it is assigned to a worker, but is not yet completed. Assignment status changes from INPROGRESS to SUSPEND. The suspended assignments must be completed using VoxConsole.

There are a number of properties pertaining to the Suspend Assignment tab. However, activate the properties selectively depending on the type of workflow that you are configuring. This section discusses the properties of a Suspend Assignment tab that are activated for the PICKING workflow.
When you click the Suspend Assignment tab, the panel containing the properties is displayed, as shown in the following figure.
This panel is divided into the following parts based on the functionality:
This is an outbound asynchronous event that notifies the Sterling Warehouse Management System when an assignment is suspended. This service is the same as the YNW_AssignmentCompletion_85 service.
The following figure shows the registration of the Suspend Assignment Notification event with the SterlingWMS_SuspendAssignment_85 transport.
This property mandates that the drop off location be verified when a user suspends an assignment. The prompt for this property is based on whether or not a container is used for picking the inventory.
If you have picked the inventory into a container, for example, container 8 8 8 8, then the system will prompt the following:
VP: "Drop 8 8 8 8 8 at DOOR2"
VI: Check 12 confirm
If you have directly picked the inventory into an equipment, it will have the following voice prompts:
VP: "Drop off at DOOR2"
VI: Check 12 confirm
