Labels and documents can be printed by the AgileElite shipment
server to either a network printer or a local printer. Alternatively,
the AgileElite shipment server can also return a label buffer to the
Sterling Pierbridge Adaptor for printing.
Printing and saving labels for AgileElite
The AgileElite shipment server provides the functionality
to automatically print labels for packages that are manifested. AgileElite
shipment server also provides the capability to save labels in .png
format by configuring the parcel carrier preferences appropriately.
The AgileElite shipment server returns the label URL in the ShipResponse
input XML whenever a package is manifested using the ShipResponse
input XML.
Printing other documents for AgileElite
The AgileElite shipment server also prints shipment-level
documents such as Commercial Invoice, Certificate Of Origin, and Shipper’s
Export Declaration (SED). These documents are valid only for international
shipments because integration at the shipment level occurs usually
for international shipments. The Sterling Pierbridge Adaptor prints
these documents only when the last international package is manifested.
