The equipment codes, which are used in a warehouse to identify
a particular equipment, are usually long, and contain alphanumeric
strings. Long strings such as these are not recommended in voice-based
systems because the chances of an error occurring are high. In order
to avoid such errors, a shorter version of the code, known as a check
digit, is used. Check digits are usually 2-5 digits long, easy to
read, and are used to identify a given equipment.

Equipments are unique across warehouses in VoiceLogistics
Pro (VLP). Incase multiple warehouses are implemented for the same
VLP instance, ensure that for a particular equipment, the check digit
is the same across these warehouses.
