Deploy the Sterling Picking Workflow

Perform the following steps to deploy the Sterling Picking workflow:

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Open Voxware's VoxStudio using the default user name SUPERVISOR and default password voxware.
  2. The VoxStudio user interface is displayed. From the menu bar, navigate to File > Open Workflow Group.
  3. The Create dialog box is displayed. Browse to <voxhome>/SterlingPickingWorkflow\workflow\STERLING_VOICE_WORKFLOWS, select STERLING_VOICE_WORKFLOWS.wsf from the list, and click Open.
  4. The PICKING workflow is displayed in the VoxStudio workspace. From the Languages panel of the PICKING workflow, select the American English check box, and navigate to File > Save Workflow Group.

    Note:

    Only the English language is supported for the out-of-the-box PICKING workflow. Localization to other language will require customization. For more information about customization, please contact Sterling Customer Support.

  5. From the VoxStudio menu bar, navigate to Edit > Grammar. The Languages dialog box is displayed. Select a language from the drop-down list, and click OK.
  6. The editing window opens. Remove the contents of this file, paste the contents of the DemoPicking.grm file into this file, and save the file.

    Notes:

    • The DemoPicking.grm file is provided by Sterling Warehouse Management System for defining the grammar for the PICKING workflow. This file is present in the <voxhome>/SterlingPickingWorkflow/grammar folder.
    • Out-of-the-box, the grammar file supports only numeric strings or digits for CaseID, PalletID, SerialNo, Tag Attributes, Zone Check Digit, Equipment Check, and Task Type ID. Grammar can be customized to support alpha-numeric values. In order to do so, please contact Sterling Customer Support.
  7. From the VoxStudio menu bar, navigate to File > Deploy.
  8. The Deploy Options dialog box is displayed. Select the Workflow Changes, New User Exits or Conditions, and the Restart Tomcat Service check boxes, and click Deploy.
