Create an approval plan

You can create approval plans using the Create Approval Plan screen.

About this task

Note: The fields marked with * in the Create Approval Plan screen are mandatory.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Approval Plan Search screen. To navigate to the Approval Plan Search screen, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as a system administrator or a system setup administrator.
    2. From the System Setup Home page, expand the Approvals menu, and then click Approval Plans The Approval Plan Search screen is displayed.
  2. In the Approval Plan Primary Details panel, perform the following:
    1. In the Approval Plan ID* box, enter a unique identifier for the approval plan being created.
    2. In the Approval Plan Name* box, enter a name for the approval plan being created.
    3. From the Document Type* drop down box, select the document type for which the approval plan is being created.
  3. Click Save to create a new approval plan.
