This section describes the changes and new functionality introduced in Sterling Business Center, Release 9.3.
Addition of new link
The following new link has been added under the Related Tasks panel:
- Manage Special Services: Sterling Business Center enables you to manage a special service for an item that involves, associating a special service to an Item, modifying a special service Associated to an Item, and dissociating a special service from an Item.
Addition of new screens
The
Special Service Associations screen has been linked to the Manage Special Services related task that enables you to associate a special service to an item, modify the details of the associated special service and dissociate a special service from an item.
- Associate a special service to an item: Sterling Business Center enables you to associate a special service to an item to indicate a relationship between the service and the item. In the Services panel of the Special Service Associations screen, click add to associate a special service to an item.
- Modify a special service associated to an item: Sterling Business Center enables you to modify the details of the associated special service such as the effective start date and end date, the association quantity for the service, and so on. In the Services panel of the Special Service Associations screen, select the service that you want to modify.
- Dissociate a special service from an item: Sterling Business Center enables you to dissociate a special service from an item from the Special Service Associations screen. In the Services panel of the Special Service Associations screen, click remove to associate a special service to an item.
Primary Information screen - For special service
- After you have created a special service, you can define the details for the newly created special service. Also, if you have already defined the service details, you can modify the service details of the special service from the from the Primary Information screen.
Addition of new fields
Create Service screen: A new radio button called
Special Service is added under the Create Service screen.
Sterling Business Center enables you to create special service is any additional service that can be provided for a product item, in an order. items.
Pricing Rule Summary screen:
- A new text box called Discountable Quantity per Combination* is added when you select the Same/Low Priced Item for each of the combination or the Each Combination of Items Above option in the Pricing Rule Summary screen for all the combination pricing rules.
- A new check box called Distribute Adjustments among all the eligible lines is added under properties tab of the Pricing Rule Summary screen for all the combination, item quantity, order total and ship order total pricing rule.
- A new check box called Apply adjustment only to values above the qualifying quantity is added under Conditions tab of the Pricing Rule Summary screen for all the item quantity, order total pricing rule.
Manual Pricing Rule Summary screen:
- A new check box called Distribute Adjustments among all the eligible lines is added under properties tab of the Manual Pricing Rule Summary screen for all the combination, item quantity, order total manual pricing rule.
- A new check box called Apply adjustment only to values above the qualifying quantity is added under Conditions tab of the Manual Pricing Rule Summary screen for all the item quantity, order total manual pricing rule.
Coupon Summary screen:
- A new check box called Distribute Adjustments among all the eligible lines is added under properties tab of the Coupon Summary screen for all the combination, item quantity, order total coupon.
- A new check box called Apply adjustment only to values above the qualifying quantity is added under Conditions tab of the Coupon Summary screen for all the item quantity, order total coupon.
Addition of new menus and links in the System Setup home page
In
Sterling Business Center Release 9.3, the following new menus and links have been added under the
System Setup home page:
- A new menu called Call Center For Commerce Administration has been added under the System Setup home page. The Call Center For Commerce Administration menu will have the following links:
- Configure FTC Compliance
- Product Display
- Order Entry Rules
- Payment
- Store Rules
- Sales Order Modification Rules
- Fulfillment
- Configure Country/Region and State Display Rules
- Wizard Notes
- A new menu called Alert has been added under the System Setup home page. The Alert menu has the Alert Statuses link.
- Two new links called Payment Encryption and Credit Card Types has been added under the Payments menu of the System Setup home page.
- Two new links called Customer Title and Customer Type Search Options has been added under the Customer Definition menu of the System Setup home page.
- The following new links have been added under the Order menu of the System Setup home page.
