In Sterling Business Center,
you can manage order-related configurations such as automatic notes
logging, customer appeasement reasons, order notes reasons, price
override reasons, and price match statuses that are used by other
applications.
Managing customer appeasement reasons
A customer appeasement reason can be used to specify the
reason for appeasing a customer. For example, bad delivery experience,
damaged item, late shipment, and so on.
Managing line relationship types
Line Relationship Type provides a mechanism to establish
relationship between order lines in an order.
Managing order notes reasons
An order notes reason can be used to specify the reason
for logging notes while creating or modifying an order. For example,
apply hold information, payment change information, and so on.
Managing price match statuses
A customer may discover that another retailer is selling
the same items that were ordered at a lesser price. In such situations,
you may look into the customer's claims and match the price of the
items, if necessary. A price match status is used to specify the status
of a price match task. For example, approved, pending, or rejected.
Managing price override reasons
A price override reason can be used to specify the reason
for overriding the price of an item while creating or modifying an
order. For example, price adjustment, price match, substitution, and
so on.
