Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation Release 9.2 supports randomized primary keys in the following tables:
In earlier releases, the primary keys in the Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation applications were generated as YYYYMMDDHHMMSSsssss, which results in key values that are monotonically (or always) increasing order. At very high transaction volumes, the increasing order can result in greater contention when inserting new primary key values. In Release 9.2, a random number is inserted between the HH and MM to break the order, which should reduce the contention.
If you are using throughput queries to measure the output of these tables, you must change the queries.
