Without task type having 'Number of shipments allowed per location set' and equipment has three slots - logical locations A, B and C:
In this case, number of batches created by the system is 1 as one location of the equipment A can hold 3 units of I1. System performs a volume check and critical dimension check before assigning a location of the equipment.
Note: Within a single batch, a shipment can be associated to only a single cart location.

Example 1

When the demand is between 9-10 units, the system chooses the following locations:

The can allocate only 8 units. To clean up more locations, the system selects the locations in the ascending order of quantity. After selecting locations L4 and L1, the remaining demand is for 5-6 units. Since round up is not configured, the system can allocate only one case either from location L2 or L3. Also, the split constraints do not allow to allocate 5-6 units from location L2 or L3.
