Deleting customer vertical

You can delete an existing Customer Vertical, using the Vertical screen.

About this task

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Vertical screen. To navigate to the Vertical screen perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as an Enterprise Administrator.
    2. From the System Setup Home page, expand the Customer Definitions menu, and then click Customer Verticals .

      The Vertical screen is displayed. Existing customer verticals, if any, are displayed.

  2. In the Vertical screen, click the vertical you want to delete and then click the Delete button. A confirmation message is displayed.
  3. Click Yes to delete the customer vertical.
    Note: When you delete customer vertical from Sterling Business Center and it is being used in Sterling Field SalesCommerce Call Center, then the Code Value is displayed in place of the value entered in the Short Description in Sterling Field SalesCommerce Call Center.
