In Release 9.1, enterprises can inherit customer entitlements rules from other enterprises. In earlier releases, all enterprises were required to configure their own customer entitlement rules.
If a child enterprise is upgrading to Release 9.1 and the Inherit Configuration from Enterprise option in the Organization Details window of Sterling Application Platform is enabled, the child enterprise's customer entitlement rules are not available from the Sterling Business Center. The enterprise inherits its customer entitlement rules from the parent enterprise. Only the parent enterprise's customer entitlement rules are available in the Sterling Business Center.
To enable a child enterprise to use its own customer entitlement rules, ensure that Inherit Configuration from Enterprise option in the Organization Details window of Sterling Application Platform is not selected.
