In Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation Release 9.1, you can upgrade from the previous Sterling Sensitive Data Capture Server Release 1.0 to the current version, Release 1.1.
SSDCS Release 1.1 contains support for exempting web application subdomains from the Same Origin Policy, which specifies that HTML documents or scripts originating from one domain will not be allowed to change a document from another domain.
Previous deployment strategies required a load balancer that could rewrite the URL requests to map to the different machines. This increased processing for the load balancer and slowed network performance. In Release 1.1, you can mitigate this effect by adding the property, document.domain, to each web application. This will exempt the subdomain from the Same Origin Policy and simplify the workload for the load balancer.
This feature provides an alternate deployment option for the Sterling Sensitive Data Capture Server.
