Set the JVM

Under Windows®, you can have more than one Java™ Virtual Machine (JVM) installed on a machine. If so, applications must know which one to use. The ctgjava command allows you to view or alter the JVM used by the CICS® Universal Client. The examples in this information use the dash character (-); you may use either the dash (-) or the forward slash (⁄).

Seeing which JVM is in use

Issue this command to find out which JVM the CICS Universal Client is set to use:

ctgjava -v

Selecting a JVM automatically
