The QMGTOOLS (Must Gather Tools) component is a free offering used to assist support with the collection of data critical to solving performance problems on Power systems. Many functions are provided within this component including options to collect a wrapping "super" collection consisting of a combination of PEX, Job Watcher and Collection Services data. Additional functions pertaining to communications and HA are also included.

This tool was created by IBM Support to help automatically collect the many pieces of debug data critical to fixing complex problems more quickly.  This tool collects close to everything needed to help determine root cause. There are a few exceptions; however, the tool evolves and items get added as needed. When there are pieces that cannot be collected by the tool automatically, support will ask for those specific pieces outside of the data collected by the tool.
