Update: AIX®, Linux®, and Linux on System z installation

If X Windows® is not available, you can run a silent install from the directory that contains the untarred Rational® Developer for System z® installation files:

  ./install --launcher.ini ./silent-install.ini

For a silent uninstall go to the /opt/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse directory and run:

./IBMIM --launcher.ini silent-install.ini -input <RSE install dir>/uninstall/uninstall.xml
