TCIP/IP Preview
 
The TCIP/IP Preview is an interactive PC-based introduction to TCP/IP for
OS/2(TM).  It covers key features and benefits and helps you understand
the advantages of using TCP/IP Version 2.0 for OS/2.
 
 
Installation Instructions for the TCP/IP Preview
 
Licensing:  Do not install this software until you have read and agreed
to comply with the terms listed in the TCP/IP Preview license Agreement
that is included with this documentation.
 
System Requirements
 
-IBM OS/2 (TM) 2.1 or Microsoft Windows (TM) 3.1 -486 IBM PS/2 or
compatible -VGA monitor -Keyboard and mouse -8 MB RAM or higher -4 MB of
free hard disk space
 
These fonts should already be installed on your PC:
 
-Times New Roman (Regular, Bold, and Bold Italic) 10 point - 54 point -MS
Sans Serif (Regular, and Bold) 8 point - 12 point
 
Installation
 
1. If you have not already done so, start Windows or WIN-OS/2.  Windows
users:  Type WIN at the DOS prompt.  OS/2 users:  Double-click on the
WIN-OS/2 icon located in the Command Prompts folder in the OS/2 System
folder.
 
2. Insert the TCP/IP Preview Installation Disk into your diskette drive.
 
3. From Program Manager, select File - > Run.  Type A:SETUP at the prompt
(if you are using a different drive, substitute the appropriate letter).
Select OK to begin the installation.
 
4. In the dialog box that appears, select Continue to use the default
installation path (you can enter an alternate path if desired).
 
NOTE:  If you have installed other Previews, you should install this
preview in the same director.
 
SETUP will begin copying the files from the Preview Installation Disk to
your hard drive.
 
5. Insert each of the Preview Program Diskettes when prompted.
 
6. After all of the Preview files are installed, a new program group with
an icon for the TCP/IP Preview will appear.  You can start the Preview by
double-clicking on the icon.
