Update TME 10 NetFinity Server using Software Distribution

This is a guide on how to perform an update of TME 10 Netfinity Server V4.0 product to the latest modification level on Windows 95 , Windows NT 3.51 and OS/2 platforms.

Update to refresh 3 using Software Distribution

Since the product has not been designed to be serviced using the installation CID fashion (i.e., it is missing the CID driver on NT) we use Software Distribution component to upgrade from service level 2 to 3. Even if the process is different between Windows 95, Windows NT and OS/2 platforms, basically the process installs the product in service area and then in activate area.

This scenario must be executed using fixes included in a UPDV403.ZIP file available with this document.
