This is a special demo version of QuMAP. It contains new features that are NOT in the standard product. This demo version is fully functional. 1. Copy all of the files to a temporary directory that has no subdirectories on your hard disk. 2. Change to the drive and/or directory where the files you downloaded reside and from an OS/2 command prompt type: INSTALL.CMD 3. The installation procedure will prompt you for the QUMAP installation drive and directory, copy all of the files to that directory, create a QuMAP folder and add the appropriate objects to the QuMAP folder/object on your OS/2 Desktop. 4. Select the OS/2 session where you typed INSTALL.CMD. If the installation was successful, press any key to remove the installation files and reclaim the disk space used by the install procedure. 5. Associate or bind all databases that you intend to read using QuMAP by selecting the BIND DATABASE TO QUMAP icon for each of the databases. This step is only required if you intend to access DB2 data using QuMAP. Databases can be bound to QuMAP at any time. For more information on how QuMAP accesses database tables see the User's Guide. NOTE: The first time you run QuMAP you will need to enter a password. If you do not know your password call Rochell McLain at (404)238-7856 or via e-mail: rmclain_jr@vnet.ibm.com and request a demo password for QuMAP. You must enter the password before you can use QuMAP.
