The IBM PC Assistant (formerly IBM PS Assistant) may be released to IBM
customers and Business Partners.  It contains only unclassified
material.

These .INF files may be read with the built-in viewer included with
OS/2 2.0 or later, IBM AIX, and IBM DOS 7.  The optional XVIEW viewer
may be used with Windows 3.1.  (Other viewers, for Windows 95 and
Windows NT will also work, when available.)

Note:  Due to the 16-bit nature of the DOS 7 and Windows 3.1 viewers,
the Marketing and OS Assistant files will not be readable with these
viewers, due to their size.

To unpack, download the ASST*.ZIP files, using your favorite communi-
cations software, but make sure that you download them as BINARY files
(your software may offer you a choice of Text or Binary).  After
| downloading the files and copying them into a subdirectory on a DOS 7
| OS/2, or Windows PC use PKZIP 2.04G or INfo-ZIP for OS/2. The files
will unzip into *.INF files.  Repeat for all of the other *.ZIP
files. Then follow the installation instructions in the ASST.TXT file.
