PROBLEM FIXED: APAR Number Description JR12415 MIGRATION PROGRAM DOES NOT MIGRATE SAA220 AS400PCS USER PAGE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: JR12415.exe (*.exe in the steps below) is a self-extracting file containing the shipped executables. The PARTS LIST is as follows: SHIPPED (fn ft) REPLACES BTMIG30.NLM BTMIG30.NLM BTMIG30.MAP BTMIG30.MAP CSSYSMSG.HLP CSSYSMSG.HLP CSSYSMSG.MSG CSSYSMSG.MSG CSSYSMSG.NLM CSSYSMSG.NLM USE: Installing the fix on the system: A. Be SURE to download the *.exe file in BINARY format. B. Create a Temp directory and copy *.exe into the temp directory and run the executable. 1. CSSYSMSG.NLM version 1.01d (perform these actions ONLY if this fix/utility is being installed on a NWSAA 2.x server prior to migration to IWSAA 3.0) NOTE: If this patch is being applied to a NWSAA3.0 server and SAA30020 is applied prior to this APAR, DO NOT COPY CSSYSMSG.NLM, CSSYSMSG.MSG or CSSYSMSG.HLP. SAA30020 contains newer versions of these modules. This utility requires Version 1.01d or later to be installed in the SYS:SYSTEM directory. If a prior version of CSSYSMSG is currently installed on the server: 1.a Rename SYS:SYSTEM\CSSYSMSG.NLM to SYS:SYSTEM\CSSYSMSG.ORG. 1.b Rename SYS:SYSTEM\NLS\4\CSSYSMSG.MSG to SYS:SYSTEM\NLS\4\CSSYSMSG.ORG. 1.c COPY CSSYSMSG.NLM provided in this APAR to SYS:SYSTEM\CSSYSMSG.NLM 1.d COPY CSSYSMSG.MSG provided in this APAR to SYS:SYSTEM\NLS\4\CSSYSMSG.NLM 1.e Type CSDOWN on the NetWare Server command line 1.f UNLOAD CSSYSMSG.NLM 1.g LOAD COMMEXEC (the following steps apply to both NWSAA 2.x servers and IWSAA 3.0) 2. Copy BTMIG30.NLM provided in this apar to SYS:SYSTEM\NWSAA (or whatever directory the NWSAA product is installed in.) 3. From the console command line type LOAD MIG30APP 4. BTMIG30.NLM will dynamically generate a report in SYS:SYSTEM\NWSAA\MIG30RPT.TXT of those NetWare users which have access to AS400 sessions via the AS400PCS.NLM. 5. Start an editor, and view the report. Limitations: 1. BTMIG30.NLM will NOT migrate the user information from its current Database to NDS. This must manually be done by the Network administrator using NWADMN. To perform this operation consult the NWSAA Operations and Diagnostics Guide for NWSAAxx. (Where xx is your version) 2. If the BTMIG30 utility is being run on a NWSAA 3.0 , and the report generates a 0 in the Session Limit field for each user, this server was migrated from a NWSAA 2.2 server. For NWSAA 2.2 the Session Limit field is implicitly set to 32. For NWSAA 3.0 and NWSAA 4.0, the Session Limit can manually be set between 0-32.
