PROBLEM FIXED: APAR Number Description _________ ____________ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: _______.EXE (*.exe in the steps below) is a self-extracting file containing the shipped executables. The PARTS LIST is as follows: SHIPPED (fn ft) REPLACES Installing the fix on the system: 1) Be SURE to download the *.EXE file in BINARY format. 2) Copy the *.EXE file to your root directory and expand. This will create a directory called JR12129 and extract the above files. 3) Backup your previous versions of the parts listed in the SHIPPED/REPLACED columns in some manner and apply the parts in their place. IMPORTANT! If this is an APAR fix, carefully compare the dates of the parts supplied with this APAR fix with the dates of the parts you are replacing. If ANY of the parts being replaced are more recent than the parts shipped with this APAR discontinue the installation of this fix and contact Customer Support for clarification. 4) Determine the client you are using and do the following: For Windows 95 SNA API Client: 4a) Update the SNA API Client to IWSAA 3.0 level. 4b) Replace the following DLL: WINCSV32.DLL 4c) Check if the following file exist in the window\system subdirectory: PCSCDRA.DLL. If the file exist and is older than the file included with this APAR, Replace the file with the one included with this APAR. If the file does not exist, then copy this file to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory. For Windows NT SNA API Client: 4a) Update the SNA API Client to IWSAA 3.0 level. 4b) Replace the following DLL: WINCSV32.DLL 4c) Check if the following file exist in the WINNT40\SYSTEM32 subdirectory: PCSCDRA.DLL. If the file exist and is older than the file included with this APAR, Replace the file with the one included with this APAR. If the file does not exist, then copy this file to the WINNT40\SYSTEM32 subdirectory (for some version of Windows NT, the SYSTEM32 subdirectory may be part of the \WINNT directory, or the \WINNT35 directory).
