PROBLEM FIXED: APAR Number Description JR12987___ This apar addresses SP6 and NWSAA/IWSAA compatibility and solves connectivity problems associated with SP6. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: JR12987.exe (*.exe in the steps below) is a self-extracting file containing the shipped executables. The PARTS LIST is as follows: SHIPPED (fn ft) REPLACES LLC8022.NLM LLC8022.NLM SDLCTSM.NLM SDLCTSM.NLM SDLCTSM.MSG SDLCTSM.MSG CSL.NLM CSL.NLM CSL.MSG CSL.MSG LLC8022.MAP SDLCTSM.MAP Installing the fix on the system: 1) Be SURE to download the *.exe file in BINARY format. 2) Create a Temp directory and copy *.exe into the temp directory and unzip the file. 3) Stop NetWare for SAA. 4) Backup your previous versions of the files listed in the SHIPPED/REPLACED columns in some manner and apply the files in their place. Note: All NLMs are replaced in the sys:\system directory. All *.MSG files are replace in the sys:\system\nls\4 directory. Do not copy the MAP file to your system. (internal use only) IMPORTANT! If this is an APAR fix, carefully compare the dates of the files supplied with this APAR fix with the dates of the files you are replacing. If ANY of the files being replaced are more recent than the files shipped with this APAR discontinue the installation of this fix and contact Customer Support for clarification. 5) Restart Netware for SAA.
