PROBLEM FIXED: APAR Number Description JR12125 The STRNRTR code was changed to allow users to change their password while logging into the AS/400. The OS/400 code level MUST be at V3R1M0 or greater. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: JR12125.exe (*.exe in the steps below) is a self-extracting file containing the shipped executables. The PARTS LIST is as follows: SHIPPED (fn ft) REPLACES CFGNFRM.FRM Same CFGNFRM.HLP Same CFGNRTR.EXE Same CHILD.EXE Same IBM_PCS.OVL Same NOVELLIP.OVL Same NOVELLRT.MRI Same NOVELLRT.OVL Same PCS_ERR.DAT Same PCS_HELP.DAT Same PCS_MSG.DAT Same RMVNRTR.EXE Same STRNRTR.EXE Same STRNTCP.EXE Same _PCS.OVL Same Installing the fix on the system: 1) Be SURE to download the *.exe file in BINARY format. To root of the drive you wish to unpack it. 2) Execute JR12125.exe. This will create a directory called JR12125 and unpack the included files there. 3) Backup your previous versions of the parts listed in the SHIPPED/REPLACED columns in some manner and apply the parts in their place. IMPORTANT! If this is an APAR fix, carefully compare the dates of the parts supplied with this APAR fix with the dates of the parts you are replacing. If ANY of the parts being replaced are more recent than the parts shipped with this APAR discontinue the installation of this fix and contact Customer Support for clarification. 4) Test the fix by recreating the user environment and try to change the password.
