IBM LAN Distance V1.11/V5.0 FixPak IPJ8606 Japan


 This FixPak provides service for the following versions of LAN
 Distance:

 IBM LAN Distance Connection Server for OS/2 - Version 5.0
 IBM LAN Distance Remote for OS/2, Versions 1.11 and V5.0
 IBM LAN Distance Remote for Windows, Versions 1.11 and V5.0

 This FixPak supersedes IPx8605.


 WARNING : This FixPak is installed using Corrective Service
           Facility (CSF) 2-B Version 1.39. Once you use this
           version of the FixTool you will not be able to use
           previous versions of the FixTool.


 NOTE :
 This FixPak is not intended for the standalone LAN Distance
 V1.11 product.  It is intended for users of the WARP Connect
 WARP Server, WARP Server -SMP, and WARP version 4 products.
 Also note that this FixPak SHOULD NOT be applied to a PPP Server.
 Use FixPak IP08650 to apply fixes to the PPP Server.

 This FixPak requires that MPTS be at the WRx8210 CSD level or above.

 View the IP08606.INF for a list of all APAR's. In addition it contains
 useful information regarding installation and enhancements in this
 FixPak.  If you are a Windows remote user please review 8606WIN.RME.
 Both files are located on the first diskette of this FixPak.

 Diskettes can be created using the LOADDSKF utility.
