Last updated: June 11, 2008 Interim IWPM for Windows 2000 APARs Description of APARs that follow 20041101 fixpack: -------------------------------------------------- IR48320 -- IWPM/XP terminates when trying to create a scanner profile. This is partially applied in the 20041101 service pack installation process. See read.me for more details. IR50200 -- IWPM/XP terminates when the workstation is locked. For this fix, try applying the IR50200A.ZIP fix files first, and then, only if the problem persists, download and apply the IR50200B.ZIP files. IR53715 -- Overview window movement causes underlying text to be blanked out when APAR fix IR52921 is applied. IR54714 -- With a Canon DR6080, the "Autodetect" page size function does not work in IWPM/2000. IR55047 -- IWPM for Terminal Services stops working under Terminal Services if IWPM is terminated and then restarted by a user. IO00124 -- Certain JFIF images cause IWPM to crash. IO00355 -- IWPM/XP configuration fails to load after Spanish version of 20041101 build is installed. IO00690 -- When opening multipage docs (100+), the Go To Page (Ctrl-P) will cause IWPM/2000 to crash with a memory exception. IO00797 -- IWPM cannot process some TIFF images. Returns FIW2201A. IBM MMR cannot decompress these multi-page TIFF images. IO01391 -- Scan dialog window stays open after clicking STORE with IWPM/2000; it used to close with IWPM/NT. INT6765 -- When creating a scanner DTP and specifying a host-initiated scan method, IWPM may hang when selecting the DTP just created. IO02453 -- IWPM document page 1 displayed, page 2 displays on top, as an "overlay"; subsequent pages continue to add, resulting in multiple pages being shown together. IO03044 -- Random crashes in IWPM when interacting with the working set after scanning forms using Intelligent Forms Processing (IFP). IO03145 -- IWPM in Terminal Services mode should allow for a successful OINT even if there are multiple ODM hosts listed in EVN2CFG.DAT. IO03409 -- FIW2203A error can appear on TIFF documents where the data of the first page is at the end of the entire file's data. IO03803 -- When non-raster images are saved to TIFF using the IWPM pulldown option, they display in reverse video in other TIFF viewers. IO04019 -- When saving very wide images in IWPM/2000 or XP, the saved image will appear enlarged and the vertical side is truncated. IO04286 -- When more than 1 item is in the IWPM working set and PDF is one, a memory error is received when you move to the next document. IO04315 -- When scanning or displaying a multi-page bi-color TIFF image with G4 compression, IWPM fails to display the image. IO04968 -- IWPM crashes intermittently while scanning. IO05464 -- Intermittent crash can occur in IWPM/2000 when user logs on, displays a PTOCA file, and performs other working set operations. IO05854 -- If the FIWT_USEPIXEL_SCALETTOGRAY environment variable is set, then images with underlined text are viewed as underlines only. IO06226 -- When TIFF images are scanned in IWPM and rotated before storing to the host, some pages display in reverse video in other viewers. IO07045 -- IWPM working set is cleared when storing a captured document in WAF, making indexing the document in the 5250 screen difficult. IO07256 -- Various errors occur in IWPM when hyperthreading is enabled in BIOS, especially during scanning and paging operations. IO07395 -- IWPM/XP display of some TIFF documents causes IWPM to hang in zSeries with Terminal Server. 'White' screen received. IO07462 -- IWPM/XP text on page is not shown in particular environment on IP/390; data and signature are missing. IO07548 -- Focus is not returning to the 5250 screen as it should after scanning, when using the WAF Scan and Index function. IO07571 -- Focus does not return to IWPM scan dialog box after indexing a document in WAF using Scan/capture and index. IO07689 -- EVNW8076 error occurs when WAF users try to select a different scan profile in IWPM/2000 or XP. IO07885 -- Memory error received in Adobe Acrobat when more than one PDF file is opened from IWPM/XP and the user pages to the next one. IO08152 -- New versions of Pixel DLLs needed to support Pixel scale-to-gray enhancement provided in APAR IR52921. IO08468 -- Ctrl+E does not work with Pixel Scale to Gray driver on pages with both PTOCA and IOCA content. IO08471 -- The "View, Enhance" checkmark is missing when a new IWPM window is added using Alt+A. IO08584 -- Customer would like scanned IOCA images to have the YCbCr color space when stored. IO08964 -- FIW2203A internal error occurs when trying to display some grey-scale JPEGs with a sampling factor of 0x22. END
