MEMORANDUM TO:  Licensee of IBM CallPath DirectTalk/2

  SUBJECT:        ServicePak for IBM CallPath DirectTalk/2 2.1

  Enclosed  is the ServicePak that you requested.  This package,
  which  upgrades  your  DirectTalk/2 2.1  system to  Corrective
  service level  UR50207, ships fixes  to several  program  code
  errors.  Also included are updated Dialogic and Aculab drivers
  and firmware.  See the README.DOC file on diskette 1 for  fur-
  ther details.

  No new DirectTalk/2 function is introduced by this ServicePak.

  The  following  new function was added by previous ServicePaks
  and is included in this ServicePak:

  o   ADSI Binary Substitution Parameter data enhancement

  o   Support for Aculab E1/T1 Digital Access Cards (revision 5)

  o   Support for Call Transfer using the E1 DPNSS Enhanced pro-
      tocol

  o   Asynchronous Play Actions and APIs

  o   Telephony REXX Voice Program Preload

  o   Dial Pulse Detection (DPD)

  o   Maintaining Consistency with OS/2 User Interface (Warp 4)

  o   Improved Diagnostic Recording Playback Utility (PLAYVOX2)

  o   Support for disk partitions greater than 2GB

  o   Voice Segment Database Recovery Utility

  o   Addition to the Telephony Server API - VAsetparm

  o   Euro currency support, comprising, multiple currencies per
      voice language, euro codepage support in host  comms,  and
      enhanced ADSI support.

  This package contains ten 3.5 diskettes.


  GENERATING THE CORRECTIVE SERVICE DISKETTE.
  ___________________________________________

  The  diskettes  are generated from the diskette image files as
  follows:

  Run the LOADDSKF program (shipped as part of this package)  to
  generate the diskettes.  To do this insert a blank diskette in
  drive A, go to the OS/2 prompt and type the following and then
  press Enter:

            LOADDSKF UR50207<n> A:

            where: <n> is the number of the diskette to generate.
                       ('A' is used for diskette number 10)

  Repeat this for each diskette.

  README.DOC,  which is on diskette one.  This file must be read
  before the ServicePak is installed.
