INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR Solaris
-------------------------------------
    
1. Download the sunptf010423.tar file.

   See aparlist.txt for the list and description of fixes that are
   included in this PTF.

2. Untar the sunptf010423.tar file using tar command.

3. Stop DB2 and the DB2 XML Extender.
 
4. Replace the .so files in the XML Extender installation lib
   directory with the replacement files.

5. Replace the exe files in the XML Extender installation bin
   directory with the replacement files.

6. Replace the bnd/lst files in the XML Extender installation bnd
   directory with the replacement files.

7. Rebind your databases with the new bnd files using dxxbind.lst.
