Replicating Essbase Security

After you replicate databases across Essbase servers, make sure that all users have the ability to log into the Essbase Enterprise Services server. You can use the sync security feature in the Essbase Enterprise Services Console to enable users of Essbase servers to access Essbase Enterprise Services servers.

To replicate Essbase security:

1. In the navigation panel under OLAP Servers, select an Essbase server.
2. Right-click, then from the menu, select Sync Security.
3. In the Confirm Password dialog box, enter the password.
4. Select the Sync Password? check box if you want to synchronize the password you entered across all servers.
5. Click Enter.
