Groups contain a list of users that have certain access rights.
To create a group:
In the navigation panel of the Essbase Enterprise Services Console, click next to Accounts to expand it.
Select Groups, then right-click.
In the right-click menu, select Create > Group. A dialog box to type the group name is displayed.
In the dialog box, enter the name of the group.
Click OK. The group you created is displayed in the navigation panel.
Select the group you created. The properties of the group are displayed in the workspace panel.
In the workspace panel, edit the following fields, if applicable:
Name - Displays the group name.
Description - Describes the group.
EmailAddress - Specifies the e-mail address of the group for notification of events.
Count of Users - Lists the number of users in this group. This field is not editable.
Click Save to save the group properties.
Note: If you had changed any values since your initial settings, click Refresh to update values on the server.
