Configuring the Properties File

Before running Essbase Enterprise Services servers, you must configure a database for storing domain information, configure the Essbase Enterprise Services server to use CORBA, HTTP, TCP/IP, or EJB, define Essbase server clusters, and define connection pooling. In order to configure these settings, you need to modify the essbase.properties file located in the EES_HOME\bin directory of your Essbase Enterprise Services installation.

For documentation about the essbase.properties file, see Essbase Enterprise Services Properties File Documentation.
