Essbase Enterprise Services servers distribute requests to Essbase servers and provide load balancing and failover support. You must define the Essbase Enterprise Services servers that will be part of your Essbase Enterprise Services domain.
To add Essbase Enterprise Services servers to the domain:
In the navigation panel of the Essbase Enterprise Services Console window, click next to Server to expand it.
Under Server, select Enterprise Servers, then right-click.
From the right-click menu, select Create > Enterprise Server. A dialog box to type the server name is displayed.
In the dialog box, type the name of the server that you want to add to the domain. The name of the server can be the host name of the computer or its numeric IP address.
Click OK. The Essbase Enterprise Services server with the name you specified is displayed under the list of Enterprise servers in the navigation panel.
