Net Search Extender 9.1 Fix Pack 8 contains fixes for the following APARs

IC56388 - IF FILESYSTEM RUNS OUT OF SPACE DURING INDEX REWRITE THE TEXT
                INDEX BECOMES CORRUPT
IC57927 - WHEN NSE GET WINDOWS ACCESS VIOLATION, TEXT INDEXES BECOME 
                CORRUPT.
IC56920 - DB2NSE_INSTALL SYNTAX IN NET SEARCH ADMINISTRATION AND USER'S
               GUIDE IS INCORRECT 
IC59340 - NEED TO SECURE SHARED MEMORY BETWEEN DB2FMP PROCESS AND 
               NET SEARCH EXTENDER EXECUTABLES.                                           

If you have a previous level of Net Search Extender 9.1 installed on your system 
and you want to install Net Search Extender 9.1 Fixpack 8 please follow the deinstallation steps.

Deinstall an older Net Search Extender 9.1 
==========================================

Do NOT disable the database for text. That will drop all your indexes 

1. Stop the DB2 Net Search Extender instance 
2. Stop the DB2 instance.
3. To uninstall the product, use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Installing on Windows
=====================

1. Extract db2_v91fp8_windows32.zip for Windows 32 bit or db2_v91fp8_windows64.zip for Windows 64 bit
2. Use setup.exe in the windows/install or window64/install directory to transfer the files from the
   package to the target machine.
3. Follow the instruction during installation processing.
4. If you have existing DB2 instances that you need to update to use Net
   Search Extender, carry out the following steps for each instance: 
   a. As instance user: Stop DB2 and Net Search Extender.
      Enter "db2stop" and "db2text stop"
   b. Run db2iupdt <db2Instance> where <db2instance> is an existing
      DB2 instance
