APAR IC43595   -   Net Search Extender 8.1.4.1 - prevents lock escalation in high volumes index update



Installation Instructions:

Stop Net Search Extender (db2text stop force)
Stop DB2 (db2stop force)
Uncompress and untar to a temporary directory

As root:
uninstall Net Search Extender using the command
 pkgrm db2nse81

install the PTF using pkgadd, e.g.:
 pkgadd -d ./db2nse8141.img 

run db2iupdt for all DB2 instances
