            Installation Instructions for DB2 Extenders Version 5.0 PTF
                                    Windows 95
 
 
    INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
    _________________________
 
    To install the PTF in Windows 95, you need 0.8 megabytes of free disk
    space on the target drive. The disk space is freed when installation
    is complete.
 
 
    INSTALLING THE DB2 EXTENDERS PTF IN WINDOWS 95
    ___________________________________________
 
    To install the DB2 Extenders PTF in Windows 95, you perform the following
    steps:
 
    1. Download wr20944.exe in binary mode.
 
    2. Run wr20944.exe to extract all the files needed for the installation.
 
    3. Stop DB2 and DB2 extenders if they are running.
 
    4. Run service.bat to perform the installation.
 
       After installation is complete, the service level of the product is
       recorded in %DMBPATH%\AIVLEVEL.

    5. Reboot the system to make the changes effective.
