Figure 136 shows an overview of the DESCRIBE process. When reloading tables from an archive other than the latest, the date and time parameters on the CONTROL statement are required. When reloading from the latest archive, these parameters are optional. Use the DESCRIBE function to list all the information about the archive file: date, time, and names of reloadable tables. Figure 137 shows an example of using the DESCRIBE function. Use the DESCRIBE function to list all reloadable tables from an archive or an UNLOADed dbspace.
