All references to CICS(R) in this manual are references to the CICS/VSE(R) product. In SQL/DS Version 3 Release 3 or later (including DB2 Server for VM Version 5 Release 1), you can connect to other IBM relational databases using the Distributed Relational Database Architecture(TM) (DRDA(R)) implementation.
