Restarting the Data Links Manager after an Abnormal Termination

If the Data Links File Manager terminates abnormally, or you simply cannot stop the Data Links File Manager using the dlfm stop command, perform the following steps:

1. Log on to the system as the DB2 Data Links Manager Administrator.
2. Enter the dlfm shutdown command to bring down the active Data Links File Manager. On AIX, you should never use the kill -9 signal to stop Data Links File Manager processes.
3. Start the Data Links File Manager by entering the dlfm start command.
