Stop the Administration Server

You must stop the Administration Server before you remove DB2 products.

To stop the Administration Server:

1. Log in as the Administration Server owner.
2. Run the start up script:

   . INSTHOME/	sqllib/db2profile       (bash, Bourne, or Korn shells)
   source INSTHOME/sqllib/db2cshrc     (C shell)
   

   where INSTHOME is the home directory of the instance.

3. Stop the Administration Server by entering the db2admin stop command.
