What's next?

After DB2 Spatial Extender is installed, you can use the DB2 Control Center to set-up the GIS environment and start to work with spatial information.

To invoke DB2 Spatial Extender from the Control Center:

1. From the Control Center window, expand the object tree until you find the Databases folder under the server where you want DB2 Spatial Extender to run.
2. Click the Databases folder. The databases are displayed in the contents pane on the right side of the window.
3. Right-click the database that you want to work with, and click the spatial operation in the pop-up menu that you want to perform.
