DB2 Query Patroller, now packaged inside the DB2 Warehouse Manager, can trap the SQL going to a DB2 Server by integrating the trap into the client code. This allows all dynamic SQL, regardless of operating system, to be managed, scheduled, and governed by Query Patroller.
A query retry mechanism allows jobs that have been aborted for various reasons to be resubmitted and run again to completion.
It is possible to issue a global start command that starts Query Patroller on all nodes. This gives you a single point of control for starting and stopping Query Patroller.
Query Patroller is available for Enterprise Edition and provides support for HP-UX and NUMA-Q, in addition to Windows 32-bit operating systems, AIX, and Solaris platforms.
