Troubleshooting Guide
If you still have problems with your client, contact DB2
Customer Support with the following information:
- A description of the events leading up to the problem
- A full description of the problem, including any SQL messages and
associated reason codes
- The db2diag.log file and any trap or dump files, for
both the client and server. See First Failure Data Capture, for more information.
- Output from the following commands:
- LIST DB DIRECTORY
- LIST NODE DIRECTORY
- GET DBM CONFIG
- db2level
- ODBC/CLI traces for ODBC applications (see the CLI Guide
and Reference manual).
Your DB2 Customer Support representative may also ask for and describe how
to take a protocol stack trace.
