Supported Data Sources

DB2 family and Oracle data sources can be included in distributed requests using nicknames. Table 35 lists the different supported versions and any required maintenance, and corresponding access methods.

Note:

  1. On Windows systems, DataJoiner cannot be installed on the same machine as DB2 Universal Database. On UNIX systems, DataJoiner can be on the same machine, but you must run it on its own instance. Do not use an existing V7.1 DB2 instance.
